NSA Leaker ‘Reality Winner’ Feels Like A Ham-Handed PsyOp

So much doesn’t add up about NSA leaker Reality Winner…

The 25 year 0ld former US Air Force #NeverTrumper (born Sarah Winner) with a top secret security clearance and a very public anti-Trump presence on Social Media gets a job with NSA contractor Pluribus International and starts work in a Georgia NSA facility February 13th.

May 5th – the date the leaked document was allegedly created, detailing what the NSA claims are the results of an investigation into Russian election hacking based on new information received in April. The report is weak sauce – spend 5 minutes and read it… There is zero evidence of Russian hacking or influence – only a thinly supported narrative about an alleged spear phishing campaign and it’s potential victims.

On May 9th, four days later – Winner printed, removed, and snail mailed this top secret classified intel which offerings absolutely zero proof to support it’s claims to The Intercept.

May 30th – The Intercept contacts a ‘government agency’ to let them know about the documents mailed to them by the rogue NSA contractor.  The online magazine then proceeds to throw Winner under the bus by giving the NSA / FBI information which they used to easily identify her.

June 4th –  Suddenly retiring rising star family man) Jason Chaffetz says he wants to see leakers ‘in handcuffs.’

June 5th – The Intercept publishes a report ‘confirming’ Russia hacked the election.

An hour after The Intercept publishes – the FBI arrests Winner

Some observations:

  • It’s hard to believe the NSA hires contractors who would fail to properly vet and weed out a radicalized 25 year old political activist with Top Secret clearance who changed her name to ‘Reality’ and spouts aggressive rhetoric against a sitting President over social media.
  • Was Winner set up?
  • While it appears the Intercept totally fucked Winner over, given Glen Greenwald’s experience with the Snowden leaks they should be experts at operational security. For them to hand over identifying information to the NSA was either intentional or incompetence. A third option is that perhaps the US Government was able to successfully threaten The Intercept.
  • Could the report itself have been an internal psyop meant to ensure employee loyalty?

Let’s look at what Winner’s ‘leak’ accomplishes:

  • Shifts the ‘Russian Hacking’ narrative away from the alleged DNC server breach and the report by ‘tainted’ cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike. It allows the ‘deep state’ to maintain the assertion that Russia literally ‘meddled in the election’ with an actual hack via phishing scam.
  • The leak addresses the growing credibility problem with ‘anonymous sources.’
  • Conservatives are tearing Reality Winner apart; from her SJW online footprint to her tattoos to her autographed Anderson Cooper photo – the right is showing no mercy, and the MSM will likely spin this as the ‘hypocritical and abusive right denigrates Bernie Sanders supporting leaker.‘
  • Perhaps by design, Trump supporters may turning Winner a hero to the left – legitimizing her leak in the process.
  • Seth who? Rising nationalism in response to terrorism where?

Furthermore, I’m sure the weak minded will be in a moral quandary once the MSM is done with this; to those on the right and the left, how does ‘evil’ (or hero) Reality Winner’s leak differ from ‘hero’ (or random victim) Seth Rich’s leaks?

For starters, Winner’s leak is the same brand of unverifiable horse shit we’re being asked to trust again vs. undisputed DKIM verified emails exposed by Wikileaks which revealed vast corruption. That doesn’t matter though – the leaks will likely be spun as equivalent by the MSM.

At the end of the day, Reality Winner just risked 10 years in prison for leaking documents which offer zero proof of Russian hacking.

Weirdo NSA Contractor Arrested After Leaking Top Secret ‘Russian Hacking’ Doc To The Intercept

A Trump-hating 25 year old Federal contractor was arrested Monday after leaking a Top Secret document to The Intercept which claims that Russian Military Intelligence “executed a cyberattack on at least one U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials days before [the] election.”

The NSA document dated May 5th claims a recent investigation found that Russia staged a ‘months-long’ cyber-warfare effort against the U.S. election and voting infrastructure after information obtained by the NSA in April 2017 warranted opening a case.

The Intercept claims the report is ‘the most detailed U.S. government account of Russian interference in the election that has yet come to light,’ and it reveals a pervasive effort by the GRU.

The report indicates that Russian hacking may have penetrated further into U.S. voting systems than was previously understood. It states unequivocally in its summary statement that it was Russian military intelligence, specifically the Russian General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate, or GRU, that conducted the cyber attacks described in the document

Russian General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate actors … executed cyber espionage operations against a named U.S. company in August 2016, evidently to obtain information on elections-related software and hardware solutions. … The actors likely used data obtained from that operation to … launch a voter registration-themed spear-phishing campaign targeting U.S. local government organizations. –The Intercept

How it led to Reality Leigh Winner…

The Intercept, co-founded by Edward Snowden leak conduit Glen Greenwald, sent the document back to the NSA for verification – which is apparently how they identified Winner as the leaker. (full affidavit)

The Dept. of Justice has issued a statement (see here)

Winner is a contractor with Pluribus International Corporation assigned to a U.S. government agency facility in Georgia. She has been employed at the facility since on or about February 13, and has held a Top Secret clearance during that time. On or about May 9, Winner printed and improperly removed classified intelligence reporting, which contained classified national defense information from an intelligence community agency, and unlawfully retained it. Approximately a few days later, Winner unlawfully transmitted by mail the intelligence reporting to an online news outlet.

That would of course be The Intercept…

Once investigative efforts identified Winner as a suspect, the FBI obtained and executed a search warrant at her residence. According to the complaint, Winner agreed to talk with agents during the execution of the warrant. During that conversation, Winner admitted intentionally identifying and printing the classified intelligence reporting…

What do we know about the leaker?

Reality Leigh Winner has a weird fucking name. Actually, it’s Sara Winners and she changed it to Reality… She’s also a huge anti-Trumper.

She’s a former US Air Force linguist who speaks at least four languages

She called President Trump a ‘piece of shit.’

She has defended the White Helmets in Syria (wolves in sheep’s clothing)

She has an autographed picture of Anderson Cooper

She has weird ass evil looking tattoos

Instead of seeking asylum in Russia, Winner was a loser and didn’t cover her tracks. In fact, she seems like a fucking moron.

Based Bilderberg Protester Lays Out Path To Dollar Destruction

A secretive group of 131 elite power brokers met last weekend at the heavily guarded Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia for the highly secretive annual Bilderberg meeting.

Established in 1954 by Polish political advisor Józef Retinger – founder of the European Movement which gave birth to the EU, the informal meeting of over 130 of the world’s top bankers, politicians, spymasters, and titans of industry has been referred to as the world’s largest lobbying event. In addition to barring the press from the invitation-only meeting, participants are under strict rules regarding conduct:

Thanks to the explosive growth of alternative media, the public has been able to educate themselves on topics such as high level collusion, MSM propaganda, the mechanics of debt, ISIS, globalism, the bottomless pit of ongoing conflict and regime change.

As a result of this ‘redpilling,’ a growing number of activists around the world have been making the journey to Bilderberg meetings to protest the meetings – which has even attracted the attention of the MSM in recent years. In fact, according to InfoWars, this year’s Bilderberg was the most covered in history.

To that end, independent Journalist Jack Posobiec ran into a gentleman, identified only as a Trump supporter, who spoke his mind about the ’70 year old regime’ established after WWII which created NATO and standardized global trade to revolve around US Dollar as the reserve currency.

According to the man, the ‘Atlanticists’ (a.k.a. Western globalists) are in big trouble – and so is the future of the US Dollar.

According to based Trump supporter, the West needs to get with the program and acknowledge ‘Eurasian Sovereignty’ and China’s evolving trade agreements with nations around the world as part of their “One Belt One Road” (or OBOR) economic plan (Of note – the Trump administration sent a delegation to the OBOR summit held three weeks ago).

The man then discussed the USA’s immense national debt, and while he may have made a small mistake remembering CBO projections on interest paid to the Federal reserve – he’s absolutely right about several things which iBankCoin and ZeroHedge readers are no stranger to; Federal Debt is out of control and is set to become one of the Govt’s largest expenditures.

Furthermore, the US Fed has been able to print money with near impunity because of its enormous GDP, as well as an ongoing synthetic demand for US Dollars due to it’s status as the global reserve. With more and more canaries coughing and sputtering in the coal mine of Western finance, however, it’s obvious that debt-fueled economic expansion and the US Dollar are in big trouble.

So what can we do about it?

With the USD’s reserve status being actively undermined, and despite several attempts to maintain it’s luster – based Bilderberg protestor says the United States needs to get in on OBOR before it’s too late.

 

If the American people were smart, they would ask to get in on OBOR, and what would be the best way? President Vladimir Putin proposed a project digging a tunnel from Siberia to Alaska– and having a railroad and infrastructure and highways connecting the two. Then we’d be linked to OBOR. We would be part of that economy.

That project would be kind of like what the Panama Canal was 100 years ago that connected two great oceans….

And while joining OBOR may not solve the problem of US Federal debt, systemic risk from derivatives, or an enormous budget deficit – exploring more efficient trade and strengthened Eurasian relationships may make for a smoother transition into a post Bretton-woods regime.

Qatar Stock Exchange Plunges 8% After Saudis, Egypt, Bahrain & UAE Cut Diplomatic Ties

Days after President Trump’s visit and hours after the annual Bilderberg meeting let out, the Qatar stock exchange plunged over 8 percent in trading after news broke that Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt cut off diplomatic ties over accusations of Qatar ‘spreading chaos,’ by ‘funding terrorism and supporting Iran.’

The countries cutting ties have shut down all land, sea, and air crossings with the tiny energy-rich nation that has the highest per capita income in the world, and Qatari visitors and residents have two weeks to leave – while diplomats have just 48 hours.

With $335 billion in its sovereign wealth fund and it’s extensive port facilities, it looks like Qatar can avoid immediate economic crisis.

Does this hinge on fake news?

This massive shunning is the result of a broadcast which Qatar claims was a hack of their state-run news agency in order to misrepresent the Emir as a backer of radical Islam – whereby a tape was played of Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani speaking with no audio, while ‘hacked’ captions containing for his support of terrorism and Iran scrolled across the ticker at the bottom of the screen.

After the broadcast, Saudi Arabia and the UAE blocked Qatari news organization Al-Jazeera last week.

Amid Qatar’s denials, Saudi-owned satellite television networks immediately began airing repeated stories about the disputed comments. By early Wednesday morning, those living in the UAE and subscribers to local cable providers couldn’t access the channels of Al-Jazeera, the pan-Arab satellite broadcaster based in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Attempts to reach its websites brought up a warning from the UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority saying the site “contains content that is prohibited.”

In Saudi Arabia, internet users also found Al-Jazeera websites blocked with a warning from the kingdom’s Culture and Information Ministry.

Why this, why now? One thought is that Saudi Arabia has had a PR problem ever since the 2016 US election. In addition to egregious human rights abuses and massive donations to the Clinton Foundation paraded under the spotlight, the house of Saud was exposed by Wikileaks in an email sent from Hillary Clinton to John Podesta – along with Qatar – for providing ‘clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region.’ Remember, in another timeline Hillary was supposed to have won, those WikiLeaks were never meant to see the light of day, and that Saudi / Qatar pipeline was supposed to be built.

And now Israel has assembled a coalition to go fight ISIS / Terrorism / Iran – which includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. Fine – but even with an acquiescent Donald Trump as US President, it still leaves a huge PR problem for Saudi Arabia considering what we know about them.

So, Qatar goes down

Since Saudi Arabia is all good with the West – human rights abuses and all, it looks like the plan is to isolate Qatar as the lone supporter of terrorism in the region and an ally to Iran.

I wonder what this means for the relationship between the United States and Qatar? We have forces stationed at Al Udeid Air Base in West Doha – which is home to the forward headquarters of US Central Command (USCC) and the USAF Central Command (USAFCC).

CNN Caught Staging Fake News? Network Trots Out Muslims To Feign Outrage After London Attacks [updated]

Being one of the more inept tentacles of the deep state, CNN was apparently caught staging Fake News in the aftermath of the ISIS claimed London attacks which claimed 7 lives and injured 48.

While ISIS supporters are celebrating the attacks, MSM propagandists have been hard at work pushing the “religion of peace” narrative – trotting out hijabbed women and a child to hold signs expressing Muslim outrage at the terrorist attacks.

This doesn’t appear to have been an ‘organic’ protest against terrorism. Instead, it looks very much like CNN staged their outrage.

UK TERRORIZED: Multiple Casualties In London Bridge Van Attack, Stabbings and Gunfire

At least two people are confirmed dead and multiple injured following what appear to be coordinated acts of terrorism in the UK at two central London landmarks. In the first attack, a van driven by a gang of five terrorists plowed into a crowd at London Bridge shortly after 10PM, then jumped out and began attacking people with knives. The gang was seen stabbing a man in the chest five times before trying to break into a London Bridge pub before being gunned down by police.

Minutes later, there was a second incident at Borough Market in which three men were seen stabbing people – and an hour later, Metropolitan police responded to a stabbing in the Vauxhall area.

The attacks come nearly two weeks after a blast killed 22 concertgoers in Manchester and a warning from PM Theresa May that another attack ‘may be imminent.‘

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Uses Voice Changer To Call Law Firm Suing DNC – Forgets To Disable Caller ID

There was a hilarious filing with the court today in the lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee – in which Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a defendant…

Attorney Elizabeth Lee Beck’s office received a call just before 5PM on Thursday from an individual who was apparently using a ‘robotic and genderless’ voice changing device, sniffing around with questions about the DNC lawsuit filed over cheating in the 2016 election. The suit – based on documents released by hacker Guccifer 2.0, claims that the DNC colluded with Sec. Hillary Clinton’s campaign ‘to perpetrate a fraud on the public.’ (see more here)

After a brief chat with the law firm’s secretary, the ‘mysterious’ voice-masking caller concluded the call with an ‘Okey dokey.’

And whose number showed up when the law firm turned around and googled the number from the caller ID? Why, who else but Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ Aventura office!

Not All Democrats Pissed About Paris Pullout – Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) Has Trump’s Back

Amid a cacophony of autistic screeching from the left following Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Accord, at least one Democrat stands strong behind the President. Senior ranking Democrat Senator from West Virginia, Joe Manchin, issued a statement saying he ‘does not believe that the Paris Agreement ensures a balance between our environment and the economy.’

Manchin – a staunch advocate for the West Virginia coal industry, has drawn criticism from the left – with some calling him a “rogue conservative Democrat” for cozying up to President Trump, as well as his not-so liberal views on energy independence. In addition to being the only democrat to cross party lines and vote to confirm Jeff Sessions, Manchin had some harsh words for White House National Economic Council director, ‘globalist’ Gary Cohn last week – after the former #2 employee at Goldman Sachs made anti-coal comments in Europe…

“Yeah, Gary, I don’t know what the hell happened with Gary. Jesus Christ, what’s wrong with these people?” Manchin joked when asked for a response to Cohn’s comments this week that coal “doesn’t make much sense anymore.” Cohn’s comments run counter to President Trump’s position on the issue, too, since Trump said the “war on coal is over” with him as president. –Breitbart

New Twitch Channel Lets People Gamble With $50K Of Some Other Guy’s Money

A new Twitch channel created by Amazon engineer Mike Roberts allows participants to buy and sell stocks with his money, in what Roberts describes as the “first co-op multiplayer game in the world in which real money is involved to play the stock market.”

StockStream Live is a group chat stock market ‘game’ with an 8-bit 90’s gaming style user interface set to party tunes. A stock ticker graces the top of the Twitch feed, while news and current events are displayed below.

Trading starts at 9 a.m. EST, and users can vote on new stocks to buy every five minutes in an account Roberts funded with $50,000 and hooked up to the Robinhood trading platform. Users with winning picks are eligible to earn ‘points,’ for prizes which Roberts intends to roll out down the road.

Hundreds of thousands of people have tuned in to watch Roberts’ savings rise and fall.

Sears Announces Kmart Malware Attack – Says EMV ‘Chip’ Payment System Prevented Large Scale Fraud

Five days after Chipotle, Inc. announced a massive malware attack resulted in widespread theft of customer payment data, Kmart parent company Sears ($SHLD) revealed that several Kmart locations had been similarly infested with malware. While the beleaguered company disclosed that “certain credit card numbers” were compromised, it appears the majority of customers were unaffected –  which the company says is thanks to their decision upgrade all Kmart locations to EMV “smart chip” credit and debit card Point-of-sale (POS) machines.

All Kmart stores were EMV “Chip and Pin” technology enabled during the time that the breached had occurred and we believe the exposure to cardholder data that can be used to create counterfeit cards is limited. –Kmart

This is in stark contrast to a 2014 malware attack on Kmart’s older magnetic swipe Point of Sale system which resulted in the theft of customer data – allowing thieves to create counterfeit cards, according to Sears spokesman Chris Brathwaite.

[2014] Brathwaite stressed that the data stolen included only “track 2” data from customer credit and debit cards, and did not include customer names, email address, physical address, Social Security numbers, PINs or any other sensitive information.

However, he acknowledged that the information stolen would allow thieves to create counterfeit copies of the stolen cards. –krebsonsecurity.com

Kmart has issued a FAQ regarding the hack.

While Kmart looks to have dodged a bullet, Chipotle is still using magnetic POS machines

Chipotle ($CMG) declined to upgrade to the newer EMV chip reading equipment in 2015 – citing inefficiencies and concerns over delays in the authentication process in a fast paced food service environment.

The breach could mean big trouble for shares of Chipotle, which have only partially recovered from an E.coli outbreak in late 2015. According to Reuters, security analysts say the company will likely face a fine based on the size of the breach and number of records compromised.

“If your data was stolen through a data breach that means you were somewhere out of compliance” with payment industry data security standards, Julie Conroy, research director at Aite Group, a research and advisory firm.

“In this case, the card companies will fine Chipotle and also hold them liable for any fraud that results directly from their breach,” said Avivah Litan, a vice president at Gartner Inc (IT.N) specializing in security and privacy. –Reuters

Who knows, maybe the GMO-refusing burrito merchants carry separate cyberliability insurance?

In 2015 the credit card industry shifted liability to those who haven’t upgraded to EMV systems

If stores accept EMV payments, the credit card companies still accept liability for counterfeit fraud. That’s true even if the store accepts EMV payments, but also accepts magnetic stripe payments, and one of those magnetic stripe payments turns out to be fraudulent. The technical wording from Visa is, “The party that has made investment in EMV deployment is protected from financial liability for card-present counterfeit fraud losses on this date. If neither or both parties are EMV compliant, the fraud liability remains the same as it is today.”

While EMV payment systems don’t prevent over-the-phone credit card fraud, MasterCard said overall fraud had dropped 54% year-over-year in September of 2016. That’s significant.

As the banking industry shifts towards convenient and safe digital payment systems and a cashless society, enjoy the smell of paper fiat currency while it’s still around. Then go play with your gold and silver collection.
