DNC IT Staffer Imran Awan Arrested At Dulles Airport Trying To Flee Country – Charged With Bank Fraud [UPDATED]

Jim Lokay of Fox5 News tweeted that one of the Pakistani IT staffers who worked for the DNC has been arrested at Dulles Airport and has been charged with bank fraud. Imran Awan, an employee of Debbie Wasserman Schultz may have been attempting to flee the country when he was picked up Monday night and surrendered his passport.

While no other details have been given, this is possibly linked to the Awan brothers imprisoning and subsequently extorting their stepmother for their father’s inheritance – or possibly over reports that the Awans overcharged congress for IT equipment.

UPDATE: 

The arrest comes days after the Daily Caller reported that the FBI had seized suspicious computer equipment from the garage of a rented house Imran and Abid Awan owned.

FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology (IT) administrator, according to an individual who was interviewed by Bureau investigators in the case and a high level congressional source.

Shortly after the criminal probe was revealed in February, Imran abruptly moved out of his longtime home on Hawkshead Drive in Lorton, Va., and listed it for rent on a website that connects landlords with military families. –Daily Caller

The new tenants were none other than a retired Marine and his active duty Navy wife. In the garage, they found “wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, [and] a lot of brand new expensive toner.”

INFILTRATION

The Awans – personal friends of Debbie Wasserman Shultz, have collected over 4 million dollars since 2009 working on the hill. They were “shared employees,” hired by multiple Democrats for IT work whenever it was needed – floating all over the place doing all sorts of work on House members computers. Democrats Juaquin Castro, Cedric Richmond, Andre Carson, Jackie Speier, Tammy Duckworth, and Louis Frankel all employed the Awans.

The Pakistanis also managed computers for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence – all of whom have top secret clearance and are looking into Russian election influence. Furthermore, it has been rumored that the Awans are blackmailing members of Congerss with secrets gleaned from emails.

Imran Awan had access to Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s iPad password, meaning that the brothers also had direct access to the notorious DNC emails.

The brothers are accused of removing hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment from congressional offices, including computers and servers, while also running a procurement scheme in which they bought equipment, then overcharged the House administrative office that assigns such contractors to members.

After they caught wind of an investigation, Imran’s wife Abid fled the country to Pakistan, “where her family has significant assets and VIP-level protection.”

Kurt Eichenwald Attempts Twitter Fight With Julian Assange, Gets Wrecked

A Twitter fight has been raging between (possibly former) Newsweek senior writer Kurt Eichenwald and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, and it’s been awesome.

To bring you up to speed – The Gateway Pundit reported Sunday that a lawsuit against Eichenwald and Newsweek was settled out of court last week for an undisclosed sum over Eichenwald accusing Sputnik News editor Bill Moran of colluding with Russia.

After the case was settled, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange tweeted a curious change to Eichenwald’s Twitter profile; the absence of his affiliation with Newsweek…

To say Eichenwald took it poorly would be an understatement. The ardent tentacle and child porn ‘researcher’ who was mercilessly destroyed by Tucker Carlson last December, went on a massive Twitter tirade against Assange – calling the Wikileaks founder a child rapist, spreader of STDs, and an agent of Vladimir Putin among other things.

Eichenwald was also a huge dick – tweeting pictures of nature to assange and taunting him for not being able to leave the Ecuadorian embassy in London for almost five years or face arrest on bogus charges.

China Prepares To Repel Flood Of Refugees If USA Attacks North Korea

In preparation for the United States and it’s allies going to war with North Korea, China has reportedly been beefing up defenses along it’s 880 mile border with the small but powerful Asian country, according to the Wall St. Journal.

Although technically allied to Pyongyang, Beijing wouldn’t necessarily defend its regime, but is determined to prevent a flood of North Koreans from entering northeastern China and to protect the population there, U.S. and Chinese experts say.

Recent measures include establishing a new border defense brigade, 24-hour video surveillance of the mountainous frontier backed by aerial drones, and bunkers to protect against nuclear and chemical blasts, according to the websites.

A review of official military and government websites and interviews with experts who have studied the preparations show that Beijing has implemented many of the changes in recent months after initiating them last year. They coincide with repeated warnings by U.S. President Donald Trump that he is weighing military action to halt North Korea’s nuclear weapons program while exerting pressure on China to do more to rein in Pyongyang. -WSJ

 

China has also been conducting live-fire drills along the border with special forces and other units in the area, including airborne troops which could be sent into North Korea at a moment’s notice. In June, the Chinese military held exercises with helicopter gunships, and in July an armored infantry unit was transferred near the border and equipped with new weapons.

When contacted for comment by the WSJ on whether the military movements were connected to North Korea, the Chinese Defense Ministry didn’t respond directly – instead responding that their forces “maintain a normal state of combat readiness and training” along the border. China also denied previous reports that thousands of Chinese troops were moved, adding that “Military means shouldn’t be an option to solve the Korean Peninsula issue.”

Geared towards defense, border security, and swift action

While Chinese authorities have been preparing for trouble over North Korea – including the establishment of contingency plans for nuclear contamination, economic collapse, or conventional warfare, the country’s recent changes in force structure, training, and equipment are linked to a nationwide effort to replace old Soviet-modeled command structures and out of date hardware.

China’s contingency preparations “go well beyond just seizing a buffer zone in the North and border security” said Mark Cozad, a former senior U.S. defense intelligence official for East Asia, now at the Rand Corp.

“Once you start talking about efforts from outside powers, in particular the United States and South Korea, to stabilize the North, to seize nuclear weapons or WMD, in those cases then I think you’re starting to look at a much more robust Chinese response,” he said. “If you’re going to make me place bets on where I think the U.S. and China would first get into a conflict, it’s not Taiwan, the South China Sea or the East China Sea: I think it’s the Korean Peninsula.” -WSJ

And while China is technically aligned with Pyongyang, the consensus seems to be that Beijing wouldn’t lift a finger if the United States and South Korea initiated military action in North Korea. Indeed, China is worried about a U.S. initiated war resulting in a North Korean refugee crisis.

That, they say, would require a much larger Chinese operation than just sealing border, with special forces and airborne troops likely entering first to secure nuclear sites, followed by armored ground forces with air cover, pushing deep into North Korea.

What remains to be seen is whether or not these moves by China are telegraphing an imminent strike, or if they’re simply trying to help Trump punk Kim Jong Un into compliance.

The rolling tantrum from the left against President Trump has stumbled into absurd territory. In a bill unveiled last week and co-sponsored by 28 House Democrats – led by Rep. Steve Cohen, who looks dead on the inside, entitled “Objecting to the conduct of the President of the United States,” the left details how mean and unpresidential Donald Trump has been.

H. Res 456 is packed with laundry list of grievances and remedies – including a demand that Trump “refrain from posting video of himself wrestling with a press logo.”

And people wonder why the DNC has become a laughing stock…

Idiots At Snopes Sign Horrible Contract For Ad Revs, Now Literally Begging For Money With Gofundme

A key member of Facebook’s ministry of truth, Snopes, has hit a major snag which may force them out of business. Apparently too cheap or stupid to run a contract for their primary source of income past an attorney, the ‘arbiters of truth’ appear to be in major financial trouble after claiming a vendor is holding ad revenues hostage, and have set up a gofundme page which has raised $130,000 of it’s $500,000 goal within hours.

We had previously contracted with an outside vendor to provide certain services for Snopes.com. That contractual relationship ended earlier this year, but the vendor will not acknowledge the change in contractual status and continues to essentially hold the Snopes.com web site hostage.

Unfortunately, we have been cut off from our historic source of advertising income. –savesnopes.com

That outside vendor was none other than San Diego based Proper Media, which bought out Snopes co-founder Barbara Mikkelson’s share in the company for $3.6 million following a nasty divorce.

According to the San Diego Union Tribune:

Established in 2003, Bardav, Inc. was the joint venture of Snopes creator David Mikkelson and his then-wife Barbara Mikkelson, who each owned one share and 50 percent of the company. The couple divorced in 2015. In July of 2016, Barbara sold her stake to Proper Media’s five equity holders for $3.6 million.

Prior to the sale, Bardav had contracted Proper Media for web development and advertising services on Snopes.com, with the companies agreeing to split revenue earned from advertisements.

In May, Proper Media filed suit against Bardav and Mikkelson with the San Diego Superior Court of California over ownership of the site, alleging that Mikkelson attempted to gain control over the business and block Proper Media from its share of profits. Snopes counter sued, arguing that Proper Media has not paid Snopes its share of advertising revenue since March. Motions by both the plaintiffs and defendants are scheduled to be heard on Aug. 4.

Who could have imagined that the biased ‘fact-checking’ website run by militantly liberal rabid anti-Trumpers and co-founded by a cheating, whore mongering, cat-abandoning, embezzling degenerate would sign a sloppy contract?

The arrangement with Proper Media follows revelations that David Mikkelson secret PayPal account to allegedly funnel advertising revenue from Snopes into his personal accounts so that he could travel around the world banging whores behind his wife’s back – according to court documents obtained by Wesearcher / Gotnews.

As iBankCoin reported in December, while engaging in debauchery behind his wife’s back, Mikkelson wrote off just about everything as a business expense, embezzling a reported $98,000. The Snopes co-founder has since settled down and married a [NSFW] part time porn actress, Snopes.com administrator (spicy!), and sex worker. As in, she has a website devoted to being a whore.  Apparently she’s a pretty good one despite being “past her time as an adult model.”

In the same divorce papers, David Mikkelson fired back, claiming his ex-wife Barbara took millions from their joint account and bought property in Las Vegas.

FBI Seizes Destroyed Computer Equipment From Garage Of Pakistani DNC IT Staffers

Eight weeks after Debbie Wasserman Schultz publicly threatened the chief of DC Capitol Police with ‘consequences‘ if he didn’t turn over a confiscated laptop used by Pakistani IT staffers employed by over 30 House and Senate democrats to run their networks, the Daily Caller reports that the FBI has seized more equipment from the garage of a house owned by Imran Awan and his wife Alvi after a tenant called investigators.

Per the Daily Caller:

FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology (IT) administrator, according to an individual who was interviewed by Bureau investigators in the case and a high level congressional source.

The congressional source, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, confirmed that the FBI has joined what Politico previously described as a Capitol Police criminal probe into “serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network” by Imran and three of his relatives, who had access to the emails and files of the more than two dozen House Democrats who employed them on a part-time basis.

Fellow IT staffers interviewed by TheDCNF said the Awans were often absent from weekly meetings and email exchanges. One of the fellow staffers said some of the computers the Awans managed were being used to transfer data to an off-site server.

“It was in the garage. They recycled cabinets and lined them along the walls. They left in a huge hurry,” the Marine said. “It looks like government-issued equipment. We turned that stuff over.”

After the equipment was discovered in the garage, Imran Awan came to the rented house “three or four times,” but the marine wouldn’t let him enter. “Their lawyer contacted us today via email and said we owed $350 in late charges and the items he left in the house,” the retired Marine said.

Ran shady car dealership

In addition to nosing around highly sensitive data in Congress, the Awans ran a shady car dealership that wasn’t paying it’s bills. After one of their vendors threatened to sue them, Rep. Theodore Deutch started paying the guy.

Can you imagine if congress put the same resources into investigating the shady Awans? Crowdfunding site Patreon banned conservative Canadian journalist, author, and YouTube sensation Lauren Southern without notice late last week – denying her thousands of dollars of monthly income following her involvement with an activist group in the Mediterranean.

More recently, Defend Europe raised €100,000 through crowdfunding  and chartered a 130 foot ship called the C-Star to intercept, disrupt, and send back to Africa the systematic influx of refugees from North Africa into Italy on a massive scale – a phenomenon reported on by ZeroHedge last year.

Southern’s activism in the Mediterranean with a crowdfunded group is thought to be a major factor in Patreon’s decision to ban her from the platform.

Meanwhile, Patreon has no problem letting actually violent Antifa continue to raise money on their platform…

In a case closely monitored by investigative organization Far Left Watch, an Antifa anarchist group known as “It’s Going Down” has been actively raising thousands of dollars through Patreon – despite numerous reports of TOS violations for advocating and taking credit for all sorts of criminal behavior – including snipping fiber optic lines, slashing tires, cutting fuel lines, and pouring concrete on train tracks. In other words, “activities that are likely to cause loss of life.”

“Groups like Antifa and other self described “anarchists” have recently made the news for destroying millions of dollars worth of property, violently assaulting people with a deadly weapon, and even stabbing a police horse.

It’s Going Down is a self described “digital community center from anarchist, anti-fascist, autonomous anti-capitalist and anti-colonial movements. Our mission is to provide a resilient platform to publicize and promote revolutionary theory and action.”

So a radical Antifa group can raise money on Patreon, right now, and Lauren Southern can’t because she’s a conservative whose activities “are likely to cause loss of life.”

Someone Call Kushner!

Founded in 2013, Patreon has raised $47.1 million of investment capital – $30 million of which was led by venture firm Thrive Capital, co-owned and managed by Joshua Kushner – brother of President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. Of note, Joshua and Jared co-founded real estate firm Cadre – which got of the ground with a $250 million line of credit from George Soros).

Perhaps Josh Kushner can make a call to his buddies at Patreon and ask why they’ve beheaded Lauren Southern’s income while allowing Antifa anarchist groups to raise thousands of dollars per month from their fellow comrades for their jihad against conservatism.

Liberally polarized… 

To say San Francisco based Patreon leans left is an understatement. From a rainbow of hair colors, to hipster everything, to an employee who simply goes by the name ‘Bacon,’ it’s safe to say that Patreon probably doesn’t have a lot of Trump supporters in the office.

And big surprise – a Patreon engineer loves Antifa…

As GotNews published earlier this month, Patreon software engineer Aaron Riggenberg gave his stamp of approval to the “It’s Going Down” Antifa group in a now deleted tweet.

I wonder how many of Aaron’s co-workers, up to and including management, share his views?

Cutting off conservative sources of funding

Over the last year, several conservative pundits and news outlets have experienced sharp dropoffs in ad revenues – such as YouTube personality Mark Dice, who has been getting messed with off and on. Is his Patreon account next?

And in February, liberal ad agency AdRoll canceled their contract with conservative news outlet Infowars – one day after host and founder Alex Jones was featured in a New York Times article, costing Infowars an estimated $5 million in advertising revenue. Two months later, Google instructed it’s employees to rank Infowars as ‘untrustworthy.’

In examining how the staffers working as website “raters” should evaluate a “rather poor site,” the contractor pointed to InfoWars, advising raters to consider the quality of the information and its reputation. –Business Insider

And finally, Infowars host and YouTube star Paul Joseph Watson noted a sharp dropoff in ad revenue right around the same time – along with other conservative content creators.

As liberal gatekeepers from ad serving companies and crowdfunding platforms deny revenue to conservative content creators, one wonders when conservative competitors to companies like Patreon will crop up to fill the vacuum created by the moralizing left.

Sean Spicer Quits As WH Press Secretary After Scaramucci Appointment

Sean Spicer resigned as White House Press Secretary Friday morning, one day after it was announced that Wall St. Financier Anthony Scaramucci was named the new White House Communications Director.

Spicer reportedly called Scaramucci’s appointment a ‘major mistake.’

Per the NYT:

Mr. Trump offered Mr. Scaramucci the job at 10 a.m. The president requested that Mr. Spicer stay on, but Mr. Spicer told Mr. Trump that he believed the appointment was a major mistake, according to a person with direct knowledge of the exchange.

Spicer has had a reduced role in the communications office in recent weeks, as deputy WH Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has taken over most press briefings.

You’re Fired! Trump Attorney Marc Kasowitz Out Days After Profanity Laced Emails

President Trump reshuffled his legal team on Thursday, kicking his personal attorney of 17 years, Marc Kasowitz, to the curb. While CNN initially reported it as a departure from the Russia investigation, CBS News’ Major Garrett reports that Kasowitz is ‘no longer Mr. Trump’s personal attorney,’ and that Kasowitz’s spokesman Mark Corallo has handed in his resignation.

Trump’s legal team now consists of Jay Sekulow, John Dowd and recent hire Ty Cobb – who are preparing a defense to reign in FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s out-of-control probe into the Trump team’s alleged ties to Russia. The left is going mad, suggesting Trump is planning on all manner of legal chicanery – up to and including pardoning himself.

With the Russia investigation continuing to widen, Trump’s lawyers are working to corral the probe and question the propriety of the special counsel’s work. They are actively compiling a list of Mueller’s alleged potential conflicts of interest, which they say could serve as a way to stymie his work, according to several of Trump’s legal advisers.

Also of note, Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner’s Democrat operative attorney Jamie Gorelick has backed off the Russia probe as well, having been replaced by veteran criminal defense attorney Abbe Lowell.

‘Watch your back, bitch’

While the reasons for Trump’s sudden legal shakeup have not been disclosed, Kasowitz recently made headlines last Thursday after sending threatening emails to a retired public relations professional after the man told Kasowitz he should ‘Resign now.’

Kasowitz responded, writing: ‘Fuck You‘

15 minutes later, Kasowitz followed up with a second email which read ‘And you don’t know me, but I will know you. How dare you send me an email like that. I’m on you now. You’ are fucking with me now. Let’s see who you are. Watch your back, bitch.‘

After the retiree wrote back ‘thank you,’ Kasowitz responded, saying ‘You are such a piece of shit. Call me. Don’t be afraid you piece of shit,’ before sending another email to the man which stated ‘I’m Jewish… I presume you are too. Stop being afraid. Call me. Or give me your number and I will call you I already know where you live, I’m on you. You might as well call me. You will see me. I promise. Bro.”

One week later, the retired PR executive got his wish.

Papa John Podesta’s DNC Rolls Out Familiar New Slogan…

Hilarity ensued after Vox’s Jeff Stein tweeted a partial version of the DNC’s new slogan – which, according to Stein was the result of “months of polling and internal deliberations among the House Democratic Caucus.”

In a now-deleted tweet, Stein revealed that a member of Congress told him the DNC’s 2018 slogan set for release on Monday is “Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages,” which many noted is very close to pizza chain Papa John’s “Better ingredients, better pizza.”

After the tweets mocking the slogan began to crop up, Stein issued a corrected, longer slogan – which like a director’s cut of the Papa John’s ripoff.

It was too late for corrections though, as the pie was cast…

So the DNC now has two things going for it: Kamala Harris and a recycled Pizza joint ripoff for a slogan.

I’m sure the #withHerd will love it.
