Sean Spicer Quits As WH Press Secretary After Scaramucci Appointment

Sean Spicer resigned as White House Press Secretary Friday morning, one day after it was announced that Wall St. Financier Anthony Scaramucci was named the new White House Communications Director.

Spicer reportedly called Scaramucci’s appointment a ‘major mistake.’

Per the NYT:

Mr. Trump offered Mr. Scaramucci the job at 10 a.m. The president requested that Mr. Spicer stay on, but Mr. Spicer told Mr. Trump that he believed the appointment was a major mistake, according to a person with direct knowledge of the exchange.

Spicer has had a reduced role in the communications office in recent weeks, as deputy WH Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has taken over most press briefings.

You’re Fired! Trump Attorney Marc Kasowitz Out Days After Profanity Laced Emails

President Trump reshuffled his legal team on Thursday, kicking his personal attorney of 17 years, Marc Kasowitz, to the curb. While CNN initially reported it as a departure from the Russia investigation, CBS News’ Major Garrett reports that Kasowitz is ‘no longer Mr. Trump’s personal attorney,’ and that Kasowitz’s spokesman Mark Corallo has handed in his resignation.

Trump’s legal team now consists of Jay Sekulow, John Dowd and recent hire Ty Cobb – who are preparing a defense to reign in FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s out-of-control probe into the Trump team’s alleged ties to Russia. The left is going mad, suggesting Trump is planning on all manner of legal chicanery – up to and including pardoning himself.

Via McClatchy:

With the Russia investigation continuing to widen, Trump’s lawyers are working to corral the probe and question the propriety of the special counsel’s work. They are actively compiling a list of Mueller’s alleged potential conflicts of interest, which they say could serve as a way to stymie his work, according to several of Trump’s legal advisers.

Also of note, Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner’s Democrat operative attorney Jamie Gorelick has backed off the Russia probe as well, having been replaced by veteran criminal defense attorney Abbe Lowell.

‘Watch your back, bitch’

While the reasons for Trump’s sudden legal shakeup have not been disclosed, Kasowitz recently made headlines last Thursday after sending threatening emails to a retired public relations professional after the man told Kasowitz he should ‘Resign now.’

Kasowitz responded, writing: ‘Fuck You

15 minutes later, Kasowitz followed up with a second email which read ‘And you don’t know me, but I will know you. How dare you send me an email like that. I’m on you now. You’ are fucking with me now. Let’s see who you are. Watch your back, bitch.

After the retiree wrote back ‘thank you,’ Kasowitz responded, saying ‘You are such a piece of shit. Call me. Don’t be afraid you piece of shit,’ before sending another email to the man which stated ‘I’m Jewish… I presume you are too. Stop being afraid. Call me. Or give me your number and I will call you I already know where you live, I’m on you. You might as well call me. You will see me. I promise. Bro.

One week later, the retired PR executive got his wish.

Papa John Podesta’s DNC Rolls Out Familiar New Slogan…

Hilarity ensued after Vox’s Jeff Stein tweeted a partial version of the DNC’s new slogan – which, according to Stein was the result of “months of polling and internal deliberations among the House Democratic Caucus.”

In a now-deleted tweet, Stein revealed that a member of Congress told him the DNC’s 2018 slogan set for release on Monday is “Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages,” which many noted is very close to pizza chain Papa John’s “Better ingredients, better pizza.”

After the tweets mocking the slogan began to crop up, Stein issued a corrected, longer slogan – which like a director’s cut of the Papa John’s ripoff.

It was too late for corrections though, as the pie was cast…

So the DNC now has two things going for it: Kamala Harris and a recycled Pizza joint ripoff for a slogan.

I’m sure the #withHerd will love it.

Theresa May Pressured To Release Report Detailing Saudi Sponsorship of UK Extremists

Britain’s Labour party has joined with a group of US 9/11 survivors in demanding UK Prime Minister Theresa May release a government report detailing the flow of money from Saudi Arabia into extremist groups in the UK. After several months of heated debate, Home Secretary Amber Reid announced that the study would not be made public “because of the volume of personal information it contains and for national security reasons.”

The report, commissioned by former Prime Minister David Cameron, has been in May’s possession since late last year – with both the Labour and Green parties repeatedly demanding it’s release.

Green party co-leader Caroline Lucas ripped into the Prime Minister – asking “will she explain if her refusal is simply because the contents of the report would embarrass the government’s friends in Saudi Arabia? Or is it because ministers care more about arms sales to Riyadh than they do about public safety?”

May shot back, “There is certain confidential information in the reports, which means that it would not be appropriate to publish it,” adding that the report could be seen by government officials on a privy basis.

In early July, Lucas questioned the delayed report, stating “To defeat terror it’s vital that politicians have full view of the facts, even if they are inconvenient for the government.”

Arming Terrorists?

Lucas’ comments on arms sales to Saudi Arabia reference the £5.6 billion in weapons sold between 2010 and 2016 – a period in which Hillary Clinton sent a 2014 email to John Podesta revealing Saudi “clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region.”

Of note, the UK’s estimated 3 million Muslims are majority Sunni, including a reported 23,000 ‘jihadist extremists’ according to a May report by the Times of London.

Pandering to Islam

May’s decision to withhold the report is viewed by some as part of wide scale government efforts to normalize and defend Islam in the UK, given the religion’s growing population which has doubled in size since 2001. Under current British rule, criticism of negative Islamic values are considered hate speech, and Muslim criminals claiming cultural ignorance are often granted extreme leniancy when compared to native citizens.

This, despite 11,000 reported cases of Islamic “honor crimes” within the UK from 2010-2014, ranging from abductions, beatings, and murders – typically to women over perceived harm she has caused her family’s reputation.

“Unfortunately they [the figures] do not show the real extent of the problem. So many crimes are unreported because the perpetrators are often the victim’s own family.

“We need a national strategy for all agencies – including police forces, courts, and schools – to be trained and to work together to end this problem.” –Diana Nammi, Director Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organization

If the report Theresa May is withholding reveals that that Saudi Arabia has been providing “clandestine and logistic support” to Islamic extremist groups operating within the UK, the implications will be far reaching – especially when one ponders the Arab nation’s recently acquired seat on the UN Human Rights Council, or their March commitment to help eradicate ISIS alongside Israel and the United States.

Trump Slams Sessions In Interview – ‘Would Have Picked Somebody Else’

President Trump made an astonishing statement to the New York Times on Wednesday, telling the paper that if he had known Attorney General Jeff Sessions was going to recuse himself from overseeing the Russia investigation, he would have picked someone else to head the Department of Justice.

Per the NYT:

In a remarkable public break with one of his earliest political supporters, Mr. Trump complained that Mr. Sessions’s decision ultimately led to the appointment of a special counsel that should not have happened. “Sessions should have never recused himself and if he was going to recuse himself he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Mr. Trump said.

Trump went on to throw former FBI Director James Comey under the bus, accusing him of trying to leverage the 35 page Trump-Russia dossier to keep his job. Furthermore, Trump hated on acting FBI director Andrew McCabe – pointing out that his wife Jill received nearly $500,000 in 2015 from a PAC affiliated with Gov. Terry McAuliffe – a close Clinton ally.

Mulling over Mueller

Special Counsel Robert Mueller didn’t escape the President’s ire either – with Trump noting that several of the lawyers hired to investigate the Russia case contributed money to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Trump described interviewing Mueller to replace Comey, and hinted that there were non-public conflicts of interest to be revealed down the road.

“He was up here and he wanted the job,” Mr. Trump said. After he was named special counsel, “I said, ‘What the hell is this all about?’ Talk about conflicts. But he was interviewing for the job. There were many other conflicts that I haven’t said, but I will at some point.” –President Trump

When asked if Mueller’s investigation would cross a red line if it expands to the Trump family finances outside of Russia, the President said, “I would say yes… I think that’s a violation. Look, this is about Russia.”

Rod Rosenstein

Former Baltimore federal prosecutor and current Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein has stepped into the spotlight since Jeff Sessions recusal over Russia. Trump complained that Rosenstein was effectively playing both sides when it came to fired FBI Director Comey – as the Deputy AG both recommended firing Comey, and then appointed Robert Mueller – which Trump states was a clinflict of interest. “Well, that’s a conflict of interest,” Mr. Trump said. “Do you know how many conflicts of interests there are?”

Trump advisor Roger Stone has been dissing Sessions too…

Veteran Republican strategist Roger Stone has been publicly critical of Attorney General Jeff Sessions in recent weeks, over Sessions’ hard-line stance on the Bundy Ranch standoff retrial – which began on Monday. Stone has taken up the defense of the Bundy family and co-defendants.

As The Gateway Pundit reports in an exclusive interview:

What makes Stone’s support of the Bundy family even more notable is the fact that the defendants in the 2014 standoff are now pitted against the very administration Stone helped into the White House. Attorney General Jeff Sessions drew criticism from the former Trump advisor when he said that “leadership requires, a lot of times, our people to step up and be accountable.” After claiming he would remain impartial, Sessions proceeded to compliment the U.S. attorney prosecuting the Bundy Ranch case – calling him a “top guy leading the battle, going to court, standing up and defending the office and the principles of the law.”

Stone is also an advocate for the legalization of medical marijuana, which Jeff Sessions is vehemently against.

So – both Trump and long time advisor Roger Stone aren’t happy with Sessions for different reasons, and it appears that Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein might want to start sending out resumes. One wonders how long it will be before Trump casts a lightning bolt in their direction and cleans house…

Jared Kushner’s Democrat Operative Attorney Ducks Out Of Russia Probe Before Monday Testimony

Jared Kushner attorney Jamie Gorelick announced late last week that she will be disengaging from all things Russia when it comes to the President’s son-in-law and advisor, and will instead focus on ‘wrapping up’ she said she was originally hired to do – a move which makes sense in light of Kushner’s announcement today that he will testify in front of congress next Monday. In Gorelick’s place, veteran criminal defense attorney Abbe Lowell will be handling responsibilities related to the Russia investigation.

The legal shakeup follows revelations that Kushner attended a now infamous meeting between an anti-Trump Russian lawyer, Donald Trump Jr., and at least five other people – including an associate of Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm responsible for the salacious and largely debunked 35 page Trump-Russia dossier used as the basis of a FISA surveillance warrant on a Trump associate.

As details of the June 2016 sit-down have emerged, the meeting is looking more and more like a setup arranged by Rob Goldstone – another Fusion GPS associate according to White House outside council Mark Corallo.

“Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier.” -Mark Corallo

According to Axios, the President’s legal team led by Marc Kasowitz wants to ‘wall off” Kushner from discussing the Russia investigation his father-in-law.

Foreign contacts

Kushner has also come under recent fire for failing to include over 100 foreign contacts on a required federal disclosure form, after a member of his staff reportedly hit ‘send’ too early.

Kushner’s lawyers have claimed that Kushner’s initial filing of his SF-86 form did not mention any meetings with foreign officials whatsoever because an unnamed “member of his staff had prematurely hit the ‘send’ button for the [form] before it was completed.” –Breitbart

Considering the timing of Gorelick’s decision to pull back from Kushner’s Russia defense, perhaps the former Clinton Deputy AG smells smoke and doesn’t want to wait around for the fire.

Kushner Testimony

On Wednesday, ABC reported that Kushner has agreed to appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee for testimony on Russian election meddling. Kushner’s new Russia attorney, Abbe Lowell, confirmed the meeting with ABC.

As Mr. Kushner has been saying since March, he has been and is prepared to voluntarily cooperate and provide whatever information he has on the investigations to Congress,” Lowell said. “Working with and being responsive to the schedules of the committees, we have arranged Mr. Kushner’s interview with the senate for July 24. He will continue to cooperate and appreciates the opportunity to assist in putting this matter to rest.” –ABC

Deep State of Affairs – Why is Gorelick Representing Kushner Anyway?

Jamie Gorelick has been a high level Democrat operative for decades. After serving as deputy Attorney General under Bill Clinton, Gorelick – with no experience in finance – was appointed Vice Chairman at Fannie Mae from 1997 – 2003, where after just four years she received $26.5 million in compensation during a period in which the lender came under fire for a $10 billion accounting scandal and an executive bonus scandal which netted Gorelick $779,625 in ill gotten gains.

The D.C. insider has also made millions sitting on the boards of  United Technologies and Amazon.com – which President Trump criticized in June for “not paying internet taxes.”

It should be noted that Amazon founder and co-board member Jeff Bezos also owns the deep-state leak factory known as the Washington Post – which Gorelick has contributed to for over a decade…

Gorelick’s Infamous Memo and 9/11

Gorelick raised eyebrows when she was appointed to the 9/11 commission, despite writing a 1995 DOJ memo which crippled national counterterrorism efforts – such as complaints the FBI received of Arab nationals taking flying lessons.

The memo became a surprise piece of evidence in the 9/11 commission when Former Attorney General John Ashcroft declassified it defend the FBI’s actions leading up to the attack – calling it “the single greatest structural cause for the September 11th problem” (which Gorelick refuted in a 2004 Washington Post op-ed).

…the FBI was operating under the constraints of the 1995 policy cited by Freeh.

Ashcroft said he had declassified the memo that laid out the policy so the commission could review it, noting that its author was a member of the panel, a reference to Jamie Gorelick, who was deputy attorney general in the Clinton administration. –NBC News

According to a 2004 Washington Times report, Gorelick rejected advice from a U.S. attorney not to limit investigative powers between agencies fighting terrorism:

Justice Department memos show that September 11 panel commissioner Jamie S. Gorelick was more intimately involved than previously thought with hampering communications between U.S. intelligence and law-enforcement agencies fighting terrorism.

As the No. 2 person in the Clinton Justice Department, Ms. Gorelick rejected advice from the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, who warned against placing more limits on communications between law-enforcement officials and prosecutors pursuing counterterrorism cases, according to several internal documents written in summer 1995.

Defense of Hillary Clinton during 2016 election

When James Comey reopened his investigation into Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election, the Jeff Bezos-connected Amazon board member co-wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post entitled “James Comey is damaging our democracy, in which Gorelick argued the FBI investigation was “antithetical to the interests of justice,” and was “putting a thumb on the scale of this election and damaging our democracy.”

Gorelick was reportedly considered for Attorney General under a Hillary Clinton Presidency, and was also mentioned for the job during John Kerry’s 2004 run at the White House.

Out of the spotlight, still on stage

While Democrat operative Jamie Gorelick won’t be representing Jared Kushner in the Russia investigation any longer, the former deputy Attorney General, Fannie Mae executive, Amazon board member, and self-described Hillary Clinton supporter who visited the Obama White House at least 26 times since 2009* will remain the legal council to one of Donald Trump’s closest advisors.

One wonders why, given her history as a Democrat operative, Gorelick is allowed within 100 feet of the Trump administration – and whether she’s perhaps pulling out of the Russia investigation due to long-standing relationships with high level government officials involved in the ongoing Trump-Russia conspiracy.

CNN’s Jake Tapper Spars With Terrorist Advocate Linda Sarsour After She Calls Him Alt-Right

A battle has erupted between CNN’s Jake Tapper and left-wing Muslim activist Linda Sarsour, after Tapper called out the Women’s March group co-chaired by Sarsour after tweeting their support for convicted cop-killing domestic terrorist Assata Shakur, who has been ducking American justice in Cuba since 1984.

Shakur – aunt of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur, is a member of the far-left Black Liberation Army (BLA) and was convicted of the 1977 murder of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foster during a shootout on the NJ Turnpike. Shakur escaped prison in 1979, and after five years on the run fled to Cuba where she currently lives under political asylum.

In light of Women’s March tweet in support of Shakur, Tapper responded:

In response, Sarsour responded that the very liberal Tapper had joined ‘the ranks of the alt-right to target me online.’

Sarsour then slipped into the well worn reactionary identity politics of those with no argument – suggesting that Tapper was perhaps referring to her being a Palestinian, pro-immigrant Muslim.

Nope! Tapper responded by calling Sarsour out for attacking actual feminist – Somali-born Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim turned atheist and a victim of female genital mutilation (FGM).

Ali (@Ayaan) – a fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and founder of a women’s rights organization, has been a vocal critic of Islam.

Jake Tapper’s tweet referring to Sarsour’s comments on Ali was in reference to a 2011 tweet in which Sarsour said Ali and was “asking 4 an a$$ whippin,’

Kurt Eichenwald Seizes the Moment

After Sarsour’s alt-right comment Newsweek writer Kurt Eichenwald could no longer bite his tongue – letting Sarsour know that her attack on Tapper was a bad idea…

BOOK: Steve Bannon Called Paul Ryan ‘Limp Dick Motherf*cker’ For Trying To Block Trump Nomination

Steve Bannon does not mince words – especially when it comes to cucks like Paul Ryan. According to a new book by Bloomberg’s Josh Green, the 63 year old former head of Breitbart unleashed in an epic rant, calling Ryan a ‘limp dick motherf*cker born in a petri dish’ after Bannon caught wind of Ryan’s plan to install himself as the Presidential nominee during the 2016 primaries.

Per The Independent:

According to Mr Green, Mr Bannon flew off the handle when he learned of a Republican plot to install Mr Ryan as the presidential nominee at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

At the headquarters of his far-right publication, Breitbart News, Mr Bannon unloaded on Mr Ryan as a “limp-d**k motherf***** who was born in a petri dish at the Heritage Foundation,” a conservative think tank.

Not content to leave it at that, Bannon then reportedly invoked the frog-God Kek, also known as Pepe…

A strong supporter of the emerging “alt-right,” Mr Bannon threatened to rally their young, far-right forces against Mr Ryan.

Pepe’s gonna stomp their ass,” he reportedly said, referring to the movement’s cartoon frog mascot.

Based on results, Pepe did in fact stop Ryan’s ass – as the speaker of the house rolled snake eyes on both a run for the White House and his precious healthcare bill.

Paul Ryan can’t stop cucking around

As Breitbart reported in March, an audio tape surfaced of Paul Ryan on an October 2016 conference call with House Republicans, in which he said he was going to abandon Donald Trump and ‘never defend him again.’

In the Oct. 10, 2016 call, from right after the Access Hollywood tape of Trump was leaked in the weeks leading up to the election, Ryan does not specify that he will never defend Trump on just the Access Hollywood tape—he says clearly he is done with Trump altogether.

“I am not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future,” Ryan says in the audio, obtained by Breitbart News and published here for the first time ever.

Have a listen to this limp dicked motherf*cker:

Idiot Snowflake Students LOVE Socialism, Yet Can’t Explain What It Is

There’s nothing liberal millennials seem to love more than free shit – and if you just ask one, ‘socialism’ is apparently the way to get it… you know, if you don’t mind all that death at the hands of socialist dictators.

Campus Reform points out a poll showing that 53 percent of Americans under 35 think socialism would be great for America, and that 45 percent of young Americans would be willing to support an openly socialist candidate.

While it’s clear that young people increasingly view socialism in a positive light, it’s also clear that many of them are uneducated about what it entails, or the impact it’s had throughout history.

The same poll found many millennials are unfamiliar with historical figures often associated with socialism, such as Che Guevara, Joseph Stalin, and Karl Marx. –Campus Reform

So what did Campus Reform do? Why, they went out to talk to a bunch of students in Washington D.C. to find out what in the ever loving fuck is wrong with them – only to find out that they’re total morons…

One student said of socialism, “I think people throw that word around to try and scare you, but if helping people is socialism, than I’m for it.”

When asked how she would define socialism, her answer was simple: “I mean honestly I’m not not exactly sure.”

“I guess just, you know, getting rid of that wealth gap in the United States?” ventured another.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the future. If one of these snowflakes is your kid, just helium bag yourself for your parental failure. Lord knows your idiot offspring won’t be able to take care of you in your old age.

Chipotle Hit With Another Foodborne Illness – Stock Tanks After Norovirus Reports $CMG

Shares of Chipotle ($CMG) fell off a cliff today after Business Insider reported the closing of a Sterling, VA location following multiple reports of customers falling ill.

Customers reported symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, severe stomach pain, dehydration, and nausea to the website iwaspoisoned.com, which first alerted Business Insider to the issues at the Sterling restaurant. One person reported two hospitalizations as a result of the illnesses.

In total, eight reports were made to the website, indicating that at least 13 customers fell sick after eating there from July 14-15.

Chipotle told Business Insider that it is aware of the situation, and is “working with health authorities to understand what the cause may be and to resolve the situation as quickly as possible,” according to Executive director of food safety Jim Mardsen – who added “The reported symptoms are consistent with norovirus.”

BAD LUCK or CORPORATE ESPIONAGE?

Chipotle suffered a string of E.Coli and norovirus incidents throughout 2015, in what many believe to be corporate espionage.

The fast food chain which notably refuses to use ingredients containing Monsanto GMOs was also hit with a massive hacking attack in March after refusing to upgrade to chipped card readers, which Chipotle reported in May.

All in all, the stock is down over 50% since 2015…

Cascade

While shares of Chipotle shit the shower, ZeroHedge notes:

If you want to see the effect of ETF contagion, the rest of the restaurant sector is getting mini flash-crashed….
