Audi Panders To SJW Tendies In Wage-Gap Superbowl Ad, Floats Biggest Falsehood Since Emissions Testing Scandal

When Audi/Volkswagen isn’t using software to cheat emissions tests so they can lie about the degree to which they’re poisoning the environment, their PR department – in it’s infinite wisdom, is cooking up stupid campaigns, like their new wage gap ad. In it, a white male father is wrought with shame over the oppressive patriarchy’s threat to his precious daughter.

What do I tell my daughter? Do I tell her that her grandpa’s worth more than her grandma, that her dad is worth more than her mom? Do I tell her that despite her education, her drive, her skills, her intelligence, she will automatically be valued less than any man she ever meets? Or maybe I’ll be able to tell her something different.

See this marketing disaster for yourself. Note the “Top Gun” maneuver when she hits the brakes and sends a fat patriarchy kid into a spin.

Oh my God. Just tell her you’re a huge cuck.

Hilariously, people aren’t buying Audi’s shit:

thumbsdown

Perhaps it’s because the “wage gap” is easily explained by lifestyle choices? This isn’t some issue of discrimination or “equal work for equal pay” whatsoever. Per Pew Research:

As Millennial women come of age in the “lean in”1 era they share many of the same views and values about work as their male counterparts. They want a job they enjoy that provides security and flexibility, and they place relatively little importance on high pay. At the same time, however, young working women are less likely than men to aspire to top management jobs… The gender gap on this question is even wider among working adults in their 30s and 40s, the age at which many women face the trade-offs that go with work and motherhood.

And as D.C. McAllister of PJ Media writes:

Surprise, surprise. The wage gap is caused by women’s choices. Progressives are all about a woman’s right to choose, aren’t they? Well, women, more than men, choose to interrupt their careers to take care of their families.

•42% of women choose to reduce their hours worked to care for family members compared to 28% of men
•39% of women choose to take significant amount of time off compared to 24% of men
•27% of women choose to quit their jobs compared to 10% of men
•13% of women choose to turn down a promotion compared to 10% of men

Additionally, research shows that women will never make up half of the U.S. workforce because of their personal choices, not because of discrimination.

It’s obvious that Audi’s PR department is full of morons who didn’t think to google that shit before basing an entire advertising campaign around a falsehood.

They are getting LIT UP in their twitter feed. Click here and scroll through the comments if so inclined

Reactions around the web have been entertaining per usual:

I have one of those vile, NOX spewing VWTDI cars that is being bought back. … was really considering one of Audi’s offerings to replace it.
After the run around from VW with their paperwork and this ad, not so sure that’s on the table anymore.
The corporate world should stay out of the social engineering arena.

Governments should also stay out of the social engineering arena. Societies figure social needs out themselves.

“When Audi/Volkswagen isn’t using software to cheat emissions tests so they ..”

Sheesh, ZeroPoinNow, don’t you believe in free markets anymore? I expected better from you. It appears to me that you’d rather have some fucked up pinko purple commie piece of bolshevik shit at EPA dictate what people should buy and drive. Let free market decide what consumers want to drive. EPA is a leftie agenda driven bureaucracy run by cretins beholden to communist ideology.

Sacrilege, the EPA is garbage. The point is that Audi is taking this moral high ground on the wage gap bullshit after cheating on their emissions tests. Total hypocrites.

Are you saying that Volkswagen/Audi is the Spicer/Conway of the auto industry? Yup.

Why is the EPA garbage? As a fisherman I’m happy there’s a government agency keeping our rivers, lakes and oceans free from pollution.

What VW had done was not cheating. It was “cheating” because it was stupid and ridiculous. THe EPA std was political; not to protect environment.
VW was making cars that customers preferred to buy and loved to drive at low cost. This “hypocrisy” VW is accused of now was forced on them by the murderous purple pinko bolshevik tyrants at EPA.

The EPA is yet another one of those agencies with a virtuous mission statement, yet suck at their job & have become a tool of government to fuck with people – not to mention neglecting to address actual environmental disasters. Ask the residents of Flint, MI who are currently suing them.

They selectively enforce pollution in a very political way, allowing egregious shit to seep into the ground from the IC industry (for example). They fine people for building ponds on their own farmland, or moving their own dirt around, or a whole bunch of other petty issues.

They fuck with the little man at the behest of Washington. There’s tons of info out there. At minimum, it needs to be completely revamped.

Sac, EPA are evil fucks – agreed, and they set punitively high standards on emissions in certain states. But tailpipe emissions are a real thing – and I’m not talking about global warming at all. There’s a bunch of carcinogenic shit cars spew into the atmosphere that cause cancer, so if there’s one thing I agree with the EPA on it’s trying to reduce whatever’s poisoning the air.

Maybe the bar is too stringent, but when you’ve got automakers cheating to get around the rules then it only fucks over consumers when they can’t pass smog and their car is a brick.

If there are no controls over emissions, you get China.
