The strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic, #Irma, made a direct hit on the tiny flat island of Barbuda early Wednesday, devastating the Caribbean home to just 1600 residents with winds up to 185 mph. As of now, there are no reports on damage or casualties – as nobody has been able to make contact with the island for hours.
The Category 5 Hurricane is currently headed towards Puerto Rico, Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis, and the US Virgin Islands – which is under a 36 hour curfew. “The beginning of the curfew coincides with the expected arrival of heavy rain and strong winds associated with Irma,” he said in a statement.
Just listened to wx update from local station for #Antigua and #Barbuda. Says they can't get in touch w/ #Barbuda who took worst of #Irma.

U.S. Landfall?
While it’s still too early to say where Irma will end up, the latest models have it making a sharp turn north, carving a path right through southern Florida.
Hurricane #Irma looks to take a more easterly turn which puts the track directly over south Florida by Sunday into Monday as a Cat 4 storm pic.twitter.com/3G5wSgU0b3

I love how the Al Gore crew is jumping on this as a sure sign of anthropogenic climate change but they don’t have shit to say about the last 10 years of no major hurricanes. :-p
I’m no Al Gore fan but one has to be brain-dead not to understand that 8+billion human beings can indeed have an effect on the environment including the weather.
Yes, they can have an affect on the climate. But using a single hurricane after a dry decade is pretty brain-dead.
*effect 🙁
No impact on swamp..

Still a Belieber?
FAKE NEWS!
You’ll see. these are hurricanes are fake as they come. part of the MSM/chinese climate change hoax.
Not a laughing matter, this. People’s lives across the Caribbean are being destroyed by this monster storm. The poorest will suffer most.
Nah… Hillary will come in bringing billions of $$ in aid from her foundation. Just like she did for Haiti after the quake.
