The problem with the boomers is that they became aware of looming financial (like social security) and environmental problems while their parents held the reins. They can’t be blamed for initiating the problems (in fact, they criticized the Greatest Generation viz these issues). However, now that the keys to the world’s only superpower have been handed over to them, they have discarded all responsibility, chasing quick, cheap fixes to sustain artificial wealth, and doing far more financial and environmental damage than their parents did.
Also, they have done a shitty job passing on the values of success and innovation to their children that their parents worked hard to cultivate in them.
Boomers are the worst generation in history. Lazy hippies, rode a big debt-based expansion and unprecedented appreciation of their assets (investments and homes), all in an era of low taxes and low costs for other essentials (e.g., college) and still, most of them managed to not save jack shit. Amazing.

Jimmy, They announced the Nexen Deal after the close of the US session..Totally didn’t catch that Friday Night, which is good cuz it would have messed with my buzz. AND OMG, they really don’t get what they did with that Nexen Deal…they gave China control of the Buzzard Field in Europe, Buzzard of course makes the cheapest of the Brent Oil, so whatever comes out of Buzzard controls Brent…which effects so much global Oil/Gas Prices…So China now can Fuck with Russia, etc anytime it wants to by slowing Buzzard…South Park was right, I blame Canada.
