NOT TODAY MY FRIEND

Last Friday I found myself on the wrong end of tape barreling lower. But the market opened today and was on sale from the opening bell. Being wrong is okay, staying wrong is a different story entirely.

I am finally coming up for air, but still wondering if this seller is done or merely taking a break to dine on some bull caviar.

This type of trading day make me wonder why I trade all the other days for table scraps. If I could just trade these big trend days I could make a month’s wage in a few hours and spend the rest of the month on iron pumping and urban exploration.

    Its simple my friend. We all want to take over the world. I want it all. Hard to keep that in check, right?

      Pretty much, that and I am not sure how I could be around for this type of day I wasn’t keeping my finger on the pulse. And if I am sitting here anyhow, then I might as well scrap a few clams in.

    Nice! You really nail some trends and intra-day momentum, are you mostly day trading when executing on these?

      yes, I have 9 trades I look for intraday and if I have strong conviction then I’ll only take one side of them (which today was short)

      swing trading has been real mixed for months even when I milk my winners proper as I know how

        no yoke, I’ve been doing better but by mixing the technical learnings and picks with old man/old school style company eval thinking. I don’t have enough time in the day to execute tightly watched short term at the moment.

    Good job as always Raul. Always nice to make money as market goes up and down.
    I bot TZA at close yesterday and sold this morning right after the open. One thing this market as taught me is when shorting, don’t wait for home runs…take the singles and be happy. Thanks for sharing all your valuable insights into the market and trends.

      it seems the success is in batting for doubles and singles in both directions.
