Tesla Motors Is Officially In The Solar Panel Business

Today Tesla Motors will announce the details of their merger with SolarCity.  The conference call was held at 8am EDT on August 1st, here is the link if you wish to listen in:

Tesla deal values SolarCity at $25.37/share.  The deal is being done using $2.6 billion in Tesla stock.

In the meantime, here is the recorded conference call from June 22nd where Elon Musk describes how he intends to achieve a trillion dollar (Extra Dr. Evil) market cap for the merged organizations:
