STOP BEING A CONTRARIAN — FOLLOW TRENDS

Most of the mistakes you’ll ever make will begin with you thinking you had a great idea. No you don’t — and no you didn’t. The idea that you could front run the entire market in some harebrained scheme is laughable and extremely low probability. While you might anticipate a sudden panic from time to time, clearly you aren’t psychic — so stop acting like you are.

Sometimes people lie so much, even to themselves, that they begin to believe said lies. Don’t be that guy.

This is easy people, the easiest money you’ll ever make.

Listen to me. Follow trends.

What does that mean, exactly?

Leg hump the 52 week highs list. There isn’t anything holding them back — no price memory. Valuations are moot and if you know the right stocks in the right sectors — you can extract a nice move in a short period of time.

LISTEN TO THE GUY IN THE TIME MACHINE, believe me.

Last week the top performing sectors were tech (+1.7%), healthcare (+1.9%) and basic materials (+1.8%).

Year to date, tech, a personal favorite of mine, is up 6%. Inside tech, my personal favorite is software. Application software is +37% for the year. Had I waited around for some other non-performing shit to move, I’d be here holding my dick now without gains.

Here are the YTD winners in software.

For now, this is where the money is going. I don’t want to be presumptuous and imply this is always going to be the case. If I did that, I wouldn’t be following trends. But this is working now and if you’re not trading these stocks, or something that looks as good as this, you’re literally wasting time and money.

Happy Saturday.

Here’s a Recap of Le Fly’s Fun Filled Day

Since I haven’t blogged since 10am this morning, after mic dropping on you motherfuckers — I thought I might share with you the reasons for my sudden and very serious disappearance.

My good friend from NY came over and helped me fix my busted water heater. For the past week, I’ve been rigging my heater manually in order to attain a semblance of decency in the showers. Warm water was something of a luxury around here, NOT A RIGHT. After successfully diagnosing the problem, we then discovered two brand new problems, one of them being my sump pump — which isn’t working at all. This threatens the very existence of House Fly and needs to be mended, IMMEDIATELY.

Also, the water heater relief valve broke after opening it, which placed me on bucket patrol for a brief period of time whilst my good friend fixed it with expert precision.

After winning in the basement and ignoring the sump pump like it didn’t exist, we went out to the yard and sat under a large maple tree and feasted on turkey legs. Dr. Pepper, and Padron cigars. You do not understand the words I write — simply because you have no idea how good Dr. Pepper pairs with cigars. Before talking shit — try it and then get back to me.

Following the cigars, we surveyed the yard and decided the wooden playset was an inappropriate fixture and would chain saw it into pieces. The kids do not use it anymore. They’re too big. Plus, it’s swiss cheesed with holes thanks to carpenter bees.

Then I made Manhattans, drank stout, and finally some ale.

After a much needed cup of black coffee and hammed sandwich, I’m writing to you now — to recount these tales for the sake of documenting them and excusing myself from today’s great trading action.

Two things, we added the amount of comments per stocks on our FreeStockAlgos.com page. You can access Exodus algos there for free.

Lastly, here are my positions heading into the weekend. Be sure to take a free trial now, in order to gain access to the Pelican Trading Room next week. It’s gonna be lit.

NOTE: In the midst of today’s events, one of my dogs complete shat all over my very expensive parlour area rug. It was smashed into the rug, as if someone had stomped into it somehow. It befuddled me as much as it angered me. I steam cleaned it and haven’t looked at it since.

GET IN THE $BOX

This is one of the few SAAS leaders that haven’t done dick during this recent parlay higher. In spite of making promised to ‘take it easy’ and spend my days drinking gimlets in ruinous and reckless spending sprees, I bought some here.

Looking for a move above $28 and then BOOM — over $30.

Prepare For the Jackson Hole

Today Fed’s Powell gets to tell the world his ideas on American interest rates at the lovely summer resort dubbed Jackson Hole. These are decorous affairs, attended by only the best in finance. If you haven’t been invited, it’s because you’re persona non grata.

Today will most likely be another fun-filled Friday of market eloquence and sophistication — providing the finest people in America will capital gains. Being in a 60% cash position, having just booked tremendous gains and being up very handsomely for the year, I’ve been known to take it easy on Friday’s — amidst the coffee and the sandwiches. “The Fly” spends his time celebrating winship and when he’s not celebrating, he’s plotting.

Today’s speech will be a giant nothing burger, as is the case with almost all forms of news. Nothing in the physical world deter the virtual world of stock market chicanery from achieving greater heights.

Fly Delves into Chinese Lottery: $CANG

Off the success of recent down ipo, JG, I stepped into a small position in CANG — another down Chinese IPO.

I’m looking for a modest 30% win by tomorrow, else I’ll toss myself into a lit fireplace.

Le Fly Closes Out the Summer Bonanza With a 23 For 25 Winning Streak

While most of you spent your summers at the beachside in Nantucket or Newport, Le Fly was busy getting rich. You missed out on all of the fun, as junior at the trading turret kept losing for his master, day after day in hilarious fashion.

Meanwhile, I used the tools available to me in Exodus to go on a winning streak for the ages. Maybe I’ll recount this summer in a short book to replace that utter trash and disgrace of a book, Reminiscences of a Stock Operator — which was written by a complete psychopath and illiterate.

These are the halcyon days of chaos, where lesser men fall into traps and get their legs snapped off for sport. Over the past several weeks, I quietly and humbly partook in a journey into the inner depths of the SAAS space and came out the other end a complete winner. All those who bet against my success now remain headless and without cocks.

It was a wonderful and joyous occasion to trade with you this summer and I hope you learned plenty and took me up on my 1 on 1 demo offers; but all good things must end and I must be getting back to drinking gimlets and acting irresponsibly with my money. I’ve been an austere and ardent fixture of the market for 20 years, obsessively and compulsively learning new tricks in an effort to outstrip my many devilish enemies. I reckon with this recent foray into swing trading, stacking up an outrageous record of 60 for 63 between my beginning of summer streak and the end of summer bonanza, I’ve etched my name into the hallowed halls of the greatest stock traders who’ve ever lived on this god forsaken cesspool of a planet. Wherever said halls reside, please direct me to its locale so that I might etch.

I cleaned house today, selling most of my holdings, save a few. I am now ~60% cash.

GOOD DAY TO YOU.

Stocks Harangued By Orange Orangutan

It isn’t a question of whether Trump did anything wrong, per se. This is more of an issue of management, the ability to control the narrative and disallow your enemies from successfully carrying out a campaign against you. If we are to judge Trump solely upon that and nothing else, his Presidency has been an immense failure. The pettiness and the childish insecurities paved the way for what you’re seeing now.

These moves happened deliberately and with purpose. We all saw this coming and action was never taken to stop it. So with that being said, should Trump get impeached, he has only himself to blame. Do I care if Trump gets impeached?

Not even for a second.

I really do have little regard for the politics of America and seriously loathe the government. I love living here and I enjoy the people, mostly a generous and gregarious cadre of shape-shifters; but everyone in DC can go to hell.

I look at the endowments of some of our best Universities, all in the tens of billions, and then the portfolio values of our most successful citizens, and then the deficits and the debt on America’s balance sheet and cannot help but to wonder if this was done maliciously on purpose or by retarded men and women who just mucked it up.

Stocks reversed today because of the China trade war, plus Trump impeachment concerns. At least that’s what they tell us.

Honestly, I think if Trump were to be impeached, stocks would rally.

The news flow is going to be divisive, but the fundamentals of America, save the government, have never been better. That’s what I’m long and will not change my bias, unless something forces me into a state of fear.

Fly Buy: $TENB

I made some room by selling BAND for a 1.3% profit. It was boring the fuck out of me. I stepped in and bought this newly public company, TENB. Let’s keep it simple and not over analyze the situation.

I will make money on TENB.

Trump: If I Get Impeached, Markets Will Crash — You’ll Be Very Poor

It doesn’t get more explicit than this folks. You’ve officially been warned. Impeach Trump — become VERY poor.

Watch.

“If I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash. I think everybody would be very poor,” the president said in a Fox News interview that aired Thursday.

“Because without this thinking, you would see numbers that you wouldn’t believe in reverse,” Trump said, pointing at his head. “I got rid of regulations. The tax cut was a tremendous thing.”

It’s a tremendous thing, believe me. Under Trump, we’ve all grown spoiled and fat, but also very thin, and beautiful. The evil Obama had a rancid stock market, lots of regulations, and a litany of tax issues that made the market both fat and fat.

Early going, I am up a gingerly 1.5%. I cannot seem to stop making money. I did warn you that this week would be bananas. Truth is, I have so many stocks that I want to buy — companies lingering on my buy list. But I am a disciplined man, almost military grade, and have been in farmer mode for approximately 18 hours. I will not buy anything, lest I am able to sell something first.

If I wanted to, I could sell a bunch of stocks in my account for EXTREME profits; but they’re not done going higher.

Case in point: JG, TEAM, ZEN, HUBS, NVTA, YY, PCTY, VEEV, LITE, and WIX — just to name a few.

Enjoy the last days of summer over champagne cocktails and seafood — for the winter is just around the bend and impeachment too — at which point you’ll all be very poor and destitute, and sickly and feeble.

By Early Next Week, I Will Be Harvesting My Crops

I am fully loaded and long a sundry, if you will, of SAAS stocks. Bear in mind, there are three stocks that are notable amidst my portfolio: HUBS (triple sized position), TEAM (2x position), and ZEN (2x position).

We all want the same thing, don’t we? Unchecked happiness and a sense of normalcy that can be best described by the comfort in knowing the euphoric feeling of safety isn’t fleeting, but a permanent fixture. After money and health, we enjoy good relationships and intellectual stimulation. We find these things at theatre, the movies, the symphony, or even at home amidst friends over a good cigar and drink.

Part of my job here is to remind you of these things, not just providing you with actionable trading ideas to make your pathetic lives better. As you age and grow hideous, improve yourselves by learning how to make a proper cocktail, how to smoke an estate pipe, cigar, learn to cook, and/or keep yourselves fit by going to the gym.

The most important virtue in life is discipline. It transcends everything and the people who lack it will find themselves burning out fast. I’ve burned out several times during my 42 years of planetary existence and each time it coupled with a reckoning.

According to the pristine algorithms of Exodus, the market was overbought yesterday. But this is good news. Over the past 3 years, overbought has been synonymous with bullish and has led to high probability long directional trades. In fact, this is our best signal with an 81% win rate.

I have switched from hunter to farmer mode and will be tending to my crops closely, fully expecting to book a flurry of rich and thin profits by early next week.
