Over the past 3 months, I’ve contracted out a lot of IT work to upgrade Exodus. Since then, we got an immense amount of things done, most of which will go unnoticed to the average user.
For those of you interested or not, here’s a general update.
A new data feed for historical quotes has been secured, as well as implementing a real time quote data stream for stock pages.
A new data feed for company fundamentals has been added, including many more years of data than before. This data is updated regularly, each and every Wednesday.
The ability to change your payment credentials for the Stripe gateway has been added.
We’ve launched a new product landing page for Exodus.
Valuation data for all stocks, industries and sectors has been combed over with a fine tooth comb and updated.
A new trading system that fires off new trades every Friday, using quantitative analysis provided by the Exodus only.
And a variety of new tools on the admin level have been added, in order to give me greater control over adding new tickers, removing and changing symbols.
Here’s what we’ll be working on next.
Firming up all key stats and using new data feeds to produce new tools.
Upgrade charts and aesthetics that deliver date to users.
Permit CSV export to Excel and create ability to set alerts, which could be emailed or texted.
Lastly, and this is down the line, we will convert Exodus into a full blown quant that will also provide users the ability to create their own quants, connected to their broker dealers, firing off trades based on their caprices.
This will be the end game. After I complete this, expect “The Fly” to drop the mic and ferry himself off to Romania to live out the rest of his days amidst the goats and the rams.
