Tucker Carlson Concludes: Google Cannot Be Trusted, Regulate Them Immediately

What do you good folks think about that idea? Just because Google is an information monopoly with an ultra-leftist bias that openly discriminates against alternative viewpoints, should we call for the government to regulate them?

This is a damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario and the only reason why anyone would want to regulate Google would be to overtly hurt and diminish them. Although I’m not a fan, whatsoever, of government, something needs to be done with Google. Just based off the firing of James Damore, you see how fucked Google is with their Orwellian way of thinking.

Tucker Carlson discusses that and how right wing personalities on Youtube are being censored. Just last week, YT nuked ten years worth of vids from Lee Stranahan and Paul Joseph Watson has been complaining about his demonization and censorship on YT for months.

DOJ Demands Names, Addresses, Telephone Numbers to 1.3 Million Anti-Trump Internet Profiles

See what you leftists faggots are doing. You’re so obsessed with fucking Nazis and white supremacists being tossed off cliffs, fired from their jobs, and doxed for out of spite, you’ve dug your own graves in the process.

Now the government fuckers are going to find you and throw you into dank prison cells for talking shit about Trump. I think it’s fair to say, free speech has never been more dead in this country. I find myself restricted from what I wanted to say, more and more, with each passing day. iBankCoin’s Facebook account was annihilated by Facebook after I posted a picture of Chuck Schumer with Putin.

Now it’s your turn to feel the wrath of literal government dick suckers.

While the tech community are filled with leftists scumbags, the government is an oppressive beast and doesn’t give a shit about your gay rights or healthcare coverage for your dream sex change operations.

Via The Hill:

The Department of Justice has requested information on visitors to a website used to organize protests against President Trump, the Los Angeles-based Dreamhost said in a blog post published on Monday.

Dreamhost, a web hosting provider, said that it has been working with the Department of Justice for several months on the request, which believes goes too far under the Constitution.

DreamHost claimed that the complying with the request from the Justice Department would amount to handing over roughly 1.3 million visitor IP addresses to the government, in addition to contact information, email content and photos of thousands of visitors to the website, which was involved in organizing protests against Trump on Inauguration Day.

“That information could be used to identify any individuals who used this site to exercise and express political speech protected under the Constitution’s First Amendment,” DreamHost wrote in the blog post on Monday. “That should be enough to set alarm bells off in anyone’s mind.”

When contacted, the Justice Department directed The Hill to the U.S. attorney’s office in D.C.

The company is currently challenging the request. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Friday in Washington.

“In essence, the Search Warrant not only aims to identify the political dissidents of the current administration, but attempts to identify and understand what content each of these dissidents viewed on the website,” the company’s general counsel, Chris Ghazarian, said in a legal argument opposing the request.

The web provider published a purported search warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia that asks for records and information related to the website and its owner, along with information that could be used to identify subscribers of the website.

This includes “names, addresses, telephone numbers and other identifiers, e-mail addresses, business information, the length of service (including start date), means and source of payment for services (including any credit card or bank account number), and information about any domain name registration.”

The warrant, dated July 12, says that authorities will seize any information constituting violations of D.C. code governing riots that involve individuals connected to the protests on Inauguration Day.

More than 200 people were indicted on felony rioting charges in connection with the protests in Washington on Jan. 20.

Give hate speech a chance. I used to be an oppressive bastard, banning people for looking at me sideways. Now look at me, a literal free speech maven, permitting all sorts of oddballs post on the site without restrictions. Gayfags needs to permit nazi free speech and stormfags needs to permit ANTIFA menace them with promised to break their clavicles, if we’re gonna get back to making America great again.

PS: My vacation ends tomorrow night.

CEO of $MRK Resigns From Trump’s Economic Council, Says He’s Taking a Stand Against Intolerance and Extremism

Kenneth Frazier, CEO of Merck Pharmaceuticals, resigned from the President’s manufacturing council today, citing Trump’s lack of personal indignation to the events in Charlottesville as a reason.

Frazier joins Elon Musk in deciding to leave the council, which has triggered the President to attack him on Twitter.

Just to recap, Frazier was a good guy up until today’s resignation. Now he presides over an evil corporation who sells drugs at ‘ripoff’ prices. Did I say ripoff? I meant to say RIPOFF.

Here are the other execs on the President’s council.

Andrew Liveris, The Dow Chemical Company
Bill Brown, Harris Corporation
Michael Dell, Dell Technologies
John Ferriola, Nucor Corporation
Jeff Fettig, Whirlpool Corporation

ANTIFA Clashes With Police in Seattle

A right wing group was marching in Westlake (just north of Seattle), so naturally the leftists led by ANTIFA in Seattle attempted to disrupt their little shindig.

As always, the masked men clad in black didn’t fail to provide its audience with ample supplies of degeneracy and violence.

Here are the lowlights.

With a ‘Go Back to Europe’ flag in the background, an gentleman from the ANTIFA organization burned an American flag.

Here they are trying to break through the police barrier of mountain bikes, most likely to say a few unkind words to the other gents in Westlake.

They caught one! An evil alt-right racist was snagged by ANTIFA, so naturally they tried to rob him of his phone.

Unable to break the barrier, ANTIFA resorted to third grade schoolyard assaults, spraying police with silly string.

The police get fed up with having silly string sprayed on their officers and decide to reply with flash bangs into the crowd.

Gameover.

Alt Right Activists Are Being Outed on Twitter and Fired From Their Jobs

After the ‘alt-right’ (what the fuck does that mean anyway?) took to the streets, without masks, to defend confederate monuments and profess ‘white pride’, libshits on Twitter have been busy doxing them, which is internet jargon for outing them. The purpose of outing them, naturally, is to hope the so called ‘racist’ person will lose his job and his racist wife and kids could starve and die.

The circle of hate continues.

Via NY Post

Peter Cvjetanovic, 20, has gotten so much backlash as a result of “Yes, You’re Racist” identifying him on Saturday night as one of the “angry” torchbearers from Friday’s Emancipation Park rally that he tried to clear his name in an interview with a local TV station in his home city of Reno, Nevada.

“I did not expect the photo to be shared as much as it was,” he told Channel 2 News. “I understand the photo has a very negative connotation. But I hope that the people sharing the photo are willing to listen that I’m not the angry racist they see in that photo.”

White, who worked for the Top Dog restaurant chain, was the very first person that “Yes, You’re Racist” exposed this weekend. His employers said he was fired as a direct result of his involvement in the “Unite the Right” demonstrations.

“The actions of those in Charlottesville are not supported by Top Dog,” the restaurant said in a statement, which was posted outside their Berkeley location on Sunday.

Here’s your typical tweet by the “Yes, You’re Racist” account on Twitter. I am sure this guy/gal/both is a real hoot at parties.

There are plenty others out there doing this; and it’s totally fair game. The people on the right do the same thing when the left head out into the streets to ‘bash fash.’

In summary, this is the correct way to conduct free speech these days, with a mask.

You thought you were being brave by showing your face. But like Batman said, the mask is to protect the people you love — not yourself.

These guys knew the deal, covered from head to toe.

In Spite of Your Local Fears, S&P Futures Are Indicating Sharply Higher

I’ve just about had enough lobster for a lifetime. The last time I visited this delapidated meth den was 7 years ago, at which point I was rolling in dough — trying to explore the country. This go around, I’m still rolling in dough, but I’m also in search for constant cultural enrichment. If I’m not around teachable moments, I get bored very quickly.

Speaking of which, I taught myself a lesson tonight, after gouging myself to the gills like a pig off a lobster roll of extreme proportions. I went to the famous Red’s Eats in Wiscasset and I have to say it was severely overrated. Although they slapped an entire lobster on my roll, I found myself hating lobster after it was done. Thus far, my favorite roll was discovered at Ford’s Lobster in Noank, CT.

Post the rise of white supremacy and the specter of a barrage military action by the Trump regime, S&P futures are higher by 8. Japanese GDP came in at +4%, which is an outrageous number. I don’t even know what to think about it.

It’s probably bullshit.

Via Zerohedge

The unexpectedly strong GDP print was driven by a 9.9% jump in private non-residential investment as well as an striking 21.9% annualized surge in public investment as some of the public works spending included in last year’s economic stimulus package starting to emerge; meanwhile exports declined.

On a sequential basis, GDP rose 1.0%, above the 0.6% expected, up from the 0.4% in Q1 and the highest print in just over two years.

I expect all to climb the wall of worry tomorrow, providing President Trump with additional moments to brag and bang walls, regarding the markets at all time highs. Let me remind you, Trump was the guy who said the markets were rigged last year, blaming it on the Fed.

In other words, ignore everything he says about the market.

Scaramucci: Elements in DC and in White House Are Trying to ‘Eject’ Trump

The Mooch sat down with Stephanopoulos this morning to discuss recent events, most of which was standard rubbish. A few moments were noteworthy.

Scaramucci believes there are elements inside the White House who are trying to ‘eject’ Trump. Clearly, this isn’t news, since we’ve been seeing a constant barrage of unflattering leaks since election night. Nevertheless, his spin on things, corporate vs political class, was interesting.

“The president is not a representative of the political establishment class, and so for whatever reason, people have made a decision that they want to eject him,” Scaramucci said. “It’s almost like he’s opened up the door now for America’s CEOs and America’s billionaires to enter the Washington political system. The members of that political class do not like that.”

“I think that there are elements inside of Washington, also inclusive in the White House, that are not necessarily abetting the president’s interests or his agenda,” Scaramucci said. “I absolutely believe that, yes.”

In regards to getting fired, he wished they could’ve just told him to wash his mouth out with soap and move on.

Scaramucci was critical of Trump’s response to the Charlottesville attack, saying the President needed to come out stronger against white supremacists. His tone here was interesting, adamantly implying that Trump is surrounded by ‘yes men’ who do not give the President good advice.

Lastly, he unloaded on White House advisor, Steve Bannon, saying the President needed to move away from ‘Bannon-Bart nonsense.’

Charlottesville is a Symptom of a Much Greater Problem in America Today

So I was walking around Maine today, without a phone, totally unplugged from the world. Since I’m a personable person, quite affable at times, I conversed with lots of strangers, many people who might disagree with my ‘world view.’ Although I have strong opinions, I’m mature enough to know my ideas are meaningless time fodder, the result of theories concocted through emotional and cognitive experiences. Too many Americans actually think their ideas matter. They’re told this lie by the media and their politicians all the time, in an effort to trick people into thinking we live in a participatory democracy. Everyone is trying to ram their ideologies down the necks of others, which of course results in backlash.

The vast majority of people just want to larp around, drink something strong, and procreate. I can’t think of the last time when I thought discussing politics was a good idea for casual conversation. I did it more when I was younger, filled with vigor — stuck in the amber of idealism. I’ve always felt dreadful after engaging in political debate — even with people who totally agreed with me. It’s a time sink down the hole of extreme negativity and only serves to make people angry.

Why?

Because government can never please everyone, which is why I believe the less government, the better.

The connectivity of our phones and social media, amplified by the media, has turned total imbeciles into activists. These people are sick and have nothing better to do than foment strife. The ‘white supremacists’ who marched in Virginia yesterday were idiots. They weren’t idiots because they had low IQs or because they wanted to express their opinions, but because they actually took the time out of their day to bring attention to themselves for a negative reason. What did they think was going to result from this?

A great man once told me, ‘if it doesn’t generate revenue, I’m not interested.’ He’d actually say that to total strangers at a bar, ordinary men asking for the time or if he had watched some sports game on the tube, which caused him to get punched hard in the face more times than I can remember. But it’s a good way to live, if you think about it.

I’d like to tie this up in a pretty bow and simply say ‘we’re all so different and America can never truly come together because of idealogical differences.’ But that’d be false. The core issue here isn’t politics, or racism, or identity politics, but the fact that ordinary citizens are getting wound up by social engineers, who are seeking to divide people, bringing out the ugliest in people. We’re all ugly, in one way or another — some uglier than others. When Americans work together and leave out politics, we produce beautiful, life changing, things. But it seems every god damned news report I read these days is talking about an angry white man, a violent black man, or an evil Russian. Naturally, if you keep fucking with people’s emotions and pride, bad things will happen.

I won’t say the news needs to accentuate the positive things in life — because they have a business to run. What I am saying, however, is that the combination of having everyone with a phone and social media account wanting to be a celebrity, coupled with an atmosphere of purposeful divisiveness, is a toxic, if not deadly, combination. At some point, I hope all people will realize that it isn’t Joe from down the block that is the problem — but Jim in DC messing up America’s legacy.

Trump’s Latest Gambits: War with N. Korea, Venezuela and Trade War with China

Neocon Trump is now menacing Venezuela with military action — because he can. Who’s ready to send their son’s to the shithole of S. America?

When asked if the US was prepared to head into a miserable war with N. Korea, Trump replied ‘you know what the answers is.’

And, lastly, and probably most importantly for you trader-nerds out there — Trump is seriously going to launch a trade war against China — starting Monday.

Source: Politico

Trump told reporters in New Jersey that he would call Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday night to discuss North Korea. “We have been working very closely with China and with other countries,” he said.

The president was slated to announce the China trade action last week. But the announcement was delayed amid sensitive negotiations with China over the UN sanctions.

Still, Trump has delayed trade action before, amid pressure from business groups and major trading partners.

Two Commerce Department reports examining whether to restrict steel and aluminum imports on national security grounds were expected by the end of June but have been bottled up in an internal review. Trading partners raised threats of retaliation and domestic steel users complained of being hurt by price increases and restricted supply.

There also has been no sign of a third pending report, examining the causes of significant bilateral trade deficits, which was also due by the end of June,

Business groups, however, may welcome Section 301 action, because companies have complained they are often forced to share valuable technology with Chinese counterparts as a condition of doing business in the country.

Section 301 allows the U.S. to take unilateral action against countries that impose barriers to U.S. exports. That could take the form of increased import duties, but that would likely violate WTO rules. So the administration could look for some other form of retaliation, like restricting Chinese investment in the United States.

I don’t even know what a trade war with China would look like. We could assume any contract manufacturer would catch a severe beatdown, as well as. the innumerable companies who produce cheap items abroad. I’m just going to assume this is Trump bluffing, trying to get China to rein in N. Korea.

Market Rebounds; I am ‘Locked and Loaded’ Ready to Go

For the week, mega caps crushed small caps, -1.1% v -2.86%. Because of the concentrated nature of my holdings, long stuff like NVDA, I faired worse — down around 3% for the week.

Since mega caps did so well, I am mandated to keep the positions I currently have, save one.

The technical ranking of NVDA plummeted and TXN surged, so I swapped one for the other.

Also, I took 10% of my cash position and added to both GLD/TLT, since they outperformed the SPY by 300-400bps.

In summary, it was a rancid week, one that presided over the destruction of momentumfags. In regards to my current quantitative strategy, there is little cause for concern. I have protective measures in place that were designed to help me outperform during periods of duress. But it’s a process and might take a few weeks of rough sledding to kick in.

When chasing alpha, which is the stated goal of my program, you should expect to live and die by the sword. When markets do well, alpha seekers should do better, and vice versa.

I have to leave now. I wish you the best of luck in your ventures.

On a side note, I was recently stung by a FUCKING WASP, right on the vein in my hand while gardening. When it happened, it was just about the worst pain I’ve ever felt — like an intravenous needle being administered by a FUCKING WASP. It paralyzed my hand and I thought my it was going to explode. But it didn’t and I am now typing with said hand and live to tell the tale.

The Lord blesses us in many different ways, in spite of the fact that he’s a totally fictional character made up by savage barbarians in the days of antiquity.

Ciao.
