Is your head still spinning?
When I was a kid, we used to spend the evening at my grandfather’s house and hit on pots and pans when the ball dropped, hollering and yelling like wild animals. When I was a teenager, I used to go with my retarded friends to the city or somewhere else, which usually included large amounts of alcohol. As an adult, I started the tradition of staying home, cooking a nice meal, and drinking champagne — and also blowing horns and making loud savage like sounds.
Last night was no different — seafood dinner, champagne, horns, and then some teevee. I usually like watching an episode or two of the Honeymooners or Twilight Zone. In an attempt to switch it up last night, I bore witness to the worst show on Netflix: Black Mirror, which was an absolute abomination.
The kids are lamenting the fact that school starts tomorrow and I’m here studying the market.
What did you folks do last night; go anywhere exotic?
