I am out of pocket this morning and I’m sure you’ve been hearing the news out of Alexandria, VA.
According to reports, republicans met to practice for a 100 year old traditional baseball game between house republicans and democrats was shot up by a man, injuring at least 4.
House Majority Whip Scalise wass shot in the hip and is expecting to recover. If it wasn’t for his 24 hr detail, there would have been multiple deaths at the hands of this deranged man.
Now we’re at the crux of the argument. Strip away all of the charges, the rumors, and the absurdities and what do we have? There is a hardened contingent of losers on the left, bereft with agony over losing to Donald Trump — conjoined in an unholy alliance with the Never Trumpers on the right to remove the President from office.
How is this different from a violent coup? Clearly, this sordid behavior by those in the intelligence community, working through their media shills, is tantamount to treason. In the perfect world, the olde wooden machinery would be rolled into the city square in DC and executions would be doled out, liberally, to stop those attempting to circumvent American democracy. After all, if they can stop Trump now, who’s to say they won’t stop the next President they disagree with, and the next, and the next.
In other words, the idea that we are a true democracy is complete and utter shit, unless those furthering this agenda to take down a democratically elected President, who just took office, are stopped dead in their tracks.
Dr. Krauthammer isn’t a fan of Trump and opposes him on a sundry of issues, but he sees what the deep state is trying to do here and calls them out on it.
“Where’s the charge? Where’s the crime?”
“He won, fair and square. He’s elected. He’s the President. You don’t like it, then you vote him out of office next time around. But the idea that there’s this kind of obligation, to bring him down, to build a case for impeachment after 3-4 months is absurd and I think it’s sort of unamerican.”
Senator Kamala Harris will most likely be the DNC’s next Presidential candidate, since they’re all about identity politics. She’s a pitbull and very effective at rattling cages. A week ago, she was scolded by Senator Burr for attempting to steamroll Rod Rosenstein.
Today, she, indecorously, did the same thing to our acting AG, which drew the ire of Sessions. She asked ridiculous questions, like ‘did you meet with any Russian nationals?” Since when is it a crime to meet with people of Russian origin? I thought the left was obsessed with XENOPHOBIA? Or, does XENOPHOBIA only apply to people of color? Just asking.
Sen. Harris asked, “Did you have any communication with Russian businessmen or any Russian nationals?”
Sessions replied, “I don’t believe I had any conversations with Russian businessmen or Russian nationals.”
Harris filibustered, saying, “Are you aware of any communications…”
Sessions interrupted, “A lot of people were at the convention, it’s conceivable that somebody came…”
Harris filibustered again, “Sir, I have just a few minutes…”
Sessions, raising his voice said, “Will you let me qualify? If I don’t qualify, you’ll accuse me of lying, so I need to be correct as best I can. I am not able to be rushed this fast. It makes me nervous.”
Later on, she was scolded for interrupting Sessions — and cordially asked to simmer down.
Today’s hearings were illuminating, in that it shed some light on the mental ailments affecting the democratic party leadership, with regards to pursuing fictitious Russian conspiracy theories, attempting to justify how Hillary Clinton lost to a political upstart — Donald Trump — and his handy-dandy twitter account.
Here are three videos that gracefully encapsulate today’s hearings, all amounting to public shame and humiliation for Democratic leaders. To think, with all of the actual criminals running about the country, such as John Podesta and Hillary Clinton, they felt it was important to drag the acting AG to the Senate to question him in a public setting to prove ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
AG Sessions opening statement.
Sen. Heinrich accuses AG Sessions of hiding behind DOJ rules.
AG Sessions and Sen. Wyden have a heated exchange.
And here is the grande finale, Sen. Cotton mocks and ridicules the ongoing Russian hysteria, comparing it to a ‘fantastical’ spy novel. This invoked a stern response from Sessions, saying ‘it’s like through the looking glass. I mean what is this?’, referring to Alice in Wonderland, meaning ‘strange’ or ‘Twilight Zone.’
The big winners were found in oil and gas, with 2.4% gains. The craziness of Bitcoin and Ethereum continues, as both crytocrazies rock higher — the latter gapping up by 16%.
Tech, more or less, was a no show, in this grande bounce that everyone is enjoying.
I, for one, have a wellsprings of gains in virtually all of my stocks — leading ahead by 0.7%.
The Jeff Sessions clown show is ongoing now, so I’ll leave you to your theatre. Based upon the reaction of the indices, it looks like he’ll be avoiding prison time for his great many Russian inspired crimes against the state.
By rage, I mean 1-2% higher. The losses from yesterday have been absolved. You may now sashay throughout Wall Street, walking in distinctive curves, as to avoid leaking your natural essence and buy as many tech stocks as your black heart desires.
Valuation?
Who cares?
Have a look at the p/s ratio for NVDA, compared to the past 12 years.
Now that’s what I call “NOT OVERVALUED”. Hello.
As for me, I’m doing quite well, thank you very much. I am long IMAX and that motherllama is terrorizing short sellers today, up more than 7% on ‘news.’
Some of today’s bigger tech winners include LITE, AAOI, OLED and VECO. It’s just an all around splendid day. For the life of me, I cannot think of a single reason to sell stocks. Nothing, and I mean nothing, can stop stocks from heading higher today. It’s virtually impossible for a sell off to occur, at around ~10:30am lasting through 2pm. That would be folly.
This is wonderful. We’re moving past the stage of Russian hacking into John Podesta’s email account, since it has garnered very little traction. Plus, no one can actually prove that the Wikileaks changed votes, just innuendo. All of the ‘collusion’ the deep state and the left have been trying to pin on Trump just got blown up during Comey’s testimony, most likely thanks to Trump’s mention of the possibility of tapes. Had Trump not done that, there is a very good chance that Comey would’ve went all the way with his lies.
Alas, Bloomberg is now reporting, six months after the Presidential elections, that 39 states were hacked by fucking Russians. Here is a delicate snowflake reporting. Check the venom in his cadence and the hatred in his eyes.
Where is the proof, you ponder?
Here it is.
In Illinois, investigators found evidence that cyber intruders tried to delete or alter voter data. The hackers accessed software designed to be used by poll workers on Election Day, and in at least one state accessed a campaign finance database. Details of the wave of attacks, in the summer and fall of 2016, were provided by three people with direct knowledge of the U.S. investigation into the matter. In all, the Russian hackers hit systems in a total of 39 states, one of them said.
There it is, folks. Details of the ‘wave of attacks’ were provided by 3 people, who have direct knowledge on the matter. Those 3 people, anonymous of course, told Bloomberg that it happened; therefore, it happened.
Bloomberg continues.
The new details, buttressed by a classified National Security Agency document recently disclosed by the Intercept, show the scope of alleged hacking that federal investigators are scrutinizing as they look into whether Trump campaign officials may have colluded in the efforts. But they also paint a worrisome picture for future elections: The newest portrayal of potentially deep vulnerabilities in the U.S.’s patchwork of voting technologies comes less than a week after former FBI Director James Comey warned Congress that Moscow isn’t done meddling.
What details? Did I miss something?
According to this new, groundbreaking report, Russian hackers broke into the systems inside 39 states, but never tried to disrupt the vote. They posit the American warnings were enough to scare the rascals off, or perhaps, according to an anonymous source, the hackers failed to access the voting systems.
So then what are we talking about here?
Ah, the Russians are planning another attack.
One former senior U.S. official expressed concern that the Russians now have three years to build on their knowledge of U.S. voting systems before the next presidential election, and there is every reason to believe they will use what they have learned in future attacks.
Here is the smoking gun.
An anonymous part-time contractor who works for the state board of elections in Illinois claims hackers accessed the state’s voter database and compromised 90,000 records. In other words, about 0.75% of their 15 million registered voters records had been ‘compromised’, according to this part-time worker at the board of elections in Illinois. As to how they were compromised, we may never know.
Bloomberg reports the government then used digital signatures to prove it was the Russians, the very same signatures that cybersecurity expert, John McAfee said was complete horseshit.
The signatures were then sent through Homeland Security alerts and other means to every state. Thirty-seven states reported finding traces of the hackers in various systems, according to one of the people familiar with the probe. In two others — Florida and California — those traces were found in systems run by a private contractor managing critical election systems.
In Illinois, investigators also found evidence that the hackers tried but failed to alter or delete some information in the database, an attempt that wasn’t previously reported. That suggested more than a mere spying mission and potentially a test run for a disruptive attack, according to the people familiar with the continuing U.S. counterintelligence inquiry.
In summary…
In many states, the extent of the Russian infiltration remains unclear. The federal government had no direct authority over state election systems, and some states offered limited cooperation. When then-DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson said last August that the department wanted to declare the systems as national critical infrastructure — a designation that gives the federal government broader powers to intervene — Republicans balked. Only after the election did the two sides eventually reach a deal to make the designation.
With all of this evidence of obvious Russian hacking of the elections, how can we simply sit here and let Trump occupy the White House?
Today’s clown-show starring AG Sessions and the Senate will distract enough people to cause the market to do very little. Also, and I think this is important to note, the tech wreck isn’t finished. Nasdaq futures are up 22, but I expect those gains to be lost within the first hour of trading. If I’m right about the tone and character of this tape, expect the reversal to crush the spirits of the faggot dip buyers — kicking them and their GOOGL filled portfolios into the sea for good.
Gold is down. Copper is down. Oil is down.
Bitcoins continue to get crushed, now lower by 4%. And, all the while, bond yields are holding firm at 2.21%. What in the fuck is going on here?
Will everyone go back to ‘normal’ and buy a boatload of NVDA today? Or, will the cynics tell the market to ‘fuck off’ and begin the summer unwind, in earnest, dashing all of the hopes and dreams of retarded traders who are trading 3x upside ETFs in a margin account?
Carter Braxton Worth, ahead of summering near the shore of Nantucket, dropped by CNBC this afternoon, clad in his bearshitter uniform of khaki pants and blue blazer with gold buttons affixed to it, to tell the world to SELL AMERICAN TECH STOCKS NOW.
He went into a bunch of random theories, none of which I bothered paying attention to. Truth be told, I was a little busy eating a greek yogurt, watching the Lebron James basketball show. But I’m sure Mr. Worth made a ton of great suggestions and will end up making you a fucking fortune.
