AG Sessions Unloads on Democratic Russophobia: ‘It’s Like Through the Looking Glass. I Mean, What is This?’

Today’s hearings were illuminating, in that it shed some light on the mental ailments affecting the democratic party leadership, with regards to pursuing fictitious Russian conspiracy theories, attempting to justify how Hillary Clinton lost to a political upstart — Donald Trump — and his handy-dandy twitter account.

Here are three videos that gracefully encapsulate today’s hearings, all amounting to public shame and humiliation for Democratic leaders. To think, with all of the actual criminals running about the country, such as John Podesta and Hillary Clinton, they felt it was important to drag the acting AG to the Senate to question him in a public setting to prove ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

AG Sessions opening statement.

Sen. Heinrich accuses AG Sessions of hiding behind DOJ rules.

AG Sessions and Sen. Wyden have a heated exchange.

And here is the grande finale, Sen. Cotton mocks and ridicules the ongoing Russian hysteria, comparing it to a ‘fantastical’ spy novel. This invoked a stern response from Sessions, saying ‘it’s like through the looking glass. I mean what is this?’, referring to Alice in Wonderland, meaning ‘strange’ or ‘Twilight Zone.’

You said “To think, with all of the actual criminals running about the country.” You should have left out “about.”

Sessions should have opened the day with a question.

“So far, through six months of investigations of the Russian hacking/collusion with President Trump, can someone please identify what evidence has been discovered to date? Once we get that out of the way I will be happy to answer all of your questions.”

Now that is a country bumpkin. Geez.. the guy got confused a hundred times. Senator Kamala Harris made him nervous he said. Guess he’s not used to a woman asking questions not related to dinner. BTW.. he confirmed Comey’s comments about Trump.

He’s hardly a country bumpkin. The Dems are so hysterical it would confuse anyone.

Trumps victory turned their world upside down and they can’t handle it. It’s amazing, instead of working to win in four years they are spinning their wheels looking for Russian gremlins.

Typical progressives. Utterly failing to look in the mirror and place blame for their demise/loss where it so justly belongs.
They will continue to fail until such a time as they abandon the fringe coalition they have relied upon to grant them victory in the past.
That is …until they met their match in an orange hued, narcissistic, blow bag named Trump.

Progressives backed Bernie, not Hillary who many on the left see as a right leaning corporate hack, much like they saw Obama.

Moderate / centrist Dems have to be horrified watching Labor party & Corbyn win 40% of the vote in Britain last week. Even moderate republicans are probably going to sit up and take note.

The Dems really are coming off as sore losers looking for anything possible to bitch about.

How hard is it to face up to the fact Hillary was terrible candidate who ran a terrible campaign and thought she could phone it in.

    Where’s the proof?
Why is there ZERO proof of Russian involvement? Why didn’t the DNC let the FBI examine their servers for forensic evidence?

If they want to go after Session bring up legitimate concerns – his 50’s mentality towards marijuana, or his position on assets forfeiture.

Takes notes kids – this a perfect example of how you DO NOT lose gracefully.

We all know they are all full of shit and two sides of the same coin.

      Yeah. But. It’s too late.

I said almost immediately in December, this was a psyop. Not just a distraction, excuse, whatever. Every month it has escalated, has been escalated, in a fashion clearly showing my gut initial reaction assessment, co———————rrect

Why does it matter? My discernment. Shows what I bring to the table. 2nd, if more people said it. If more people loudly wildly professed “Psyop”. Like I was. These things, this thing might not be able to get traction. We defeat it.

michael, it was a psyop from the beginning, russia/election result aftermath, you’re so on target but sidestepping slightly late to the party.

Well yeah, I think anyone with common sense and not butthurt over the election knew it was BS all along.

        I agree

I wonder what they heard from Mike Rogers in closed session last night? No doubt badgering Sessions was an attempt to get Sessions to either confirm or refute previous testimony held in closed committee. Sessions may have well said “Let me confer with Mike Rogers, my lawyer and the president so we can get our stories straight before I answer.”
    lolz

    In other news:

The senate ‘Trump-proofed’ Russian sanctions today with bi-partisan support. https://news.vice.com/story/the-us-senate-just-trump-proofed-its-sanctions-against-russia

Putin might not care though as he had to deploy his filthy Cossack militia armed with horsewhips to round up and harass anti-corruption protesters around the country yesterday. Ironiclly, ~25% of Russians think Anti-Kremlin protesters are backed by Western governments. Alex Jones probably confirmed this as a ‘US Deeped Steaks’ attack on Putin already.

Trump also seemed to blow-torch the house republicans today when he told GOP senators over lunch the house bill was ‘too mean’ asking senators to deliver a bill that is ‘generous, kind, with heart.’ Surely boot-lick Paul Ryan will do as instructed by POTUS, but I wonder if this dog will hunt with the ‘freedom caucus’?

They’ll control Trump in that he won’t be able to do what’s in our best interests re Russia. They’ve been stoking the cold war for years and Trump is too weak to stand up to them …or maybe too clueless to recognize who the enemy is.

Next up …we’ll be reminded of everything unwholesome that Oliver Stone has ever done in his life. No doubt he too has been infiltrated by the Russians.

The facts and lack of evidence appear to disagree with the New York Times article claiming that the Trump campaign had continuous communications with the Russians to collude and affect the election outcome. This has been run to ground and nothing.

Now the Russians apparently had separately tried to access multiple election systems but so far no proof that the vote count was actually changed. That should anger everyone that they tried to inject a sense a doubt into our quasi-democratic process. We need better cyber protection, the country is very vulnerable to these kinds of attacks.

At this point POTUS is responsible for creating a lot of smoke. The burdens on his administration to prove there is no fire.

POTUS should let Mueller do his job and get on with the business of looking out for the little guy by cutting his health benefits and by cutting the taxes of the wealthy (Wait for that trickle to come on down. Pay no attention to Kansas) and make America great by pissing off all our Allies.

“The burdens on his administration to prove there is no fire.”

Wrong. Trump has done nothing that is outside his legal authority. The smoke comes from AntifaDems lobbing smoke bombs onto the White House lawn.

Mueller should never have been appointed. No special counsel should have been appointed. This whole issue is headed for a collapse but not until there is a monumental cost (waste) paid by the American taxpayer.

AntifaDems are gonna get absolutely destroyed by the mid-terms. Many on these witch hunt committees will be gone by 2019. Good riddance.

AG Sessions comment re Democratic Russophobia (‘It’s Like Through the Looking Glass. I Mean, What is This?’) is disingenuous. He’s been in politics long enough to know that is exactly how politics are played. To act surprised as if that was something new in politics makes him look fake. He should know better.

It’s time to start throwing these retards out of helicopters again. They will not be happy until they have turned the country, and by extension, the world into a shithole. They have repeatedly demonstrated they are utterly incapable of acting in the best interest of the country and work only to serve their own agenda. In addition to which their actions are subversive and a very real threat to the democratic system.
