Ardent Trump Supporters Seek to Oust Almost Everyone But Bannon and Trump

Hardcore Trump supporters, the people that the President calls his base, dislike pretty much every single person inside Trump’s cabinet and have been trying to get rid of them for months. The only person they seem to like, a person that The Mooch deemed to be a leaker, is Breitbart’s Steve Bannon. Everyone else, from McMaster, to Sessions, to Dina Powell, to Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner, to his CIA appointment, Pompeo, to Mnuchin, to Cohn, to Wilbur Ross to Coates is either ‘deep state’ or ‘the swamp’ trying to take Trump down, according to these paranoid schizophrenics.

Ladies and gentlemen, if it acts like a duck, quacks like a duck…it’s a fucking duck.

These are the people the President chose. This is who he is, like it or not. You know the old saying, judge a person by the people he keeps company with?

The latest freak out is over H.R. McMaster, a man who replaced the beloved Gen. Flynn, who was adored by Trumpers. I’ve read all sorts of crazy things about the former tank commander, who helped us rip glorious holes through the Middle East — which has been fucking us through ever since.

The latest freak out was over him firing Ezra Cohen Watnick. Really people? You’re gonna chimp out over McMaster getting rid of Flynn personnel, in this case someone who was woefully under-qualified for the role?

This is standard operating procedure for anyone wishing to position himself for success. Ezra Cohen Watnick had a rank of GS-13 at the DIA, the equivalent of a major, and had NO BUSINESS being at the helm as a senior advisor inside the NSC.

Trump’s latest pick, General Kelly, is also getting a lot of heat by his fucking paranoid base — who equate the move to a hostile takeover by the military. They’re leveling charges at Kelly for, basically, installing discipline at the White House. For the love of God, shut the fuck up. The White House was a god damned clown circus with Reince Priebus. Hopefully, the 4 star General will root out the traitors and set up makeshift execution gallows for all of the leakers inside that god forsaken White House, rendering both the Washington Post and NY Times back to gossip rags beset with onerous subscription declines.

At the end of the day, this all comes down to whether you have confidence in the President or not. Trump supporters can’t have it both ways. In other words, you can’t say he’s doing 4D double backgammon, blindfolded Armenian handball, and then say he’s so retarded he needs a fat slob (Bannon) to help remind him why he was elected. The government needs competent people running it, not newspaper men. I am unsure about Trump’s cabinet picks and frankly do not worry about it — at all.

If you can’t trust Trump’s generals, then you probably shouldn’t trust Trump.

I think a lot of people will come to realize that electing Trump wasn’t enough. Many of these people are so sick of the corruption and lack of scalability in the middle class, they just want a whole brand new form of government.

MIC is an essential part of the deep state. Generals are the visible part of MIC. Trump was isolated by Kelly’s recent changes. There’s nothing but war in the cards if generals run the prezidency now. Is there a general who doesn’t like good old-fashioned war? Major General Smedley Butler was perhaps the only exception I am aware of.

Fly mentioned Eisenhower. Omar Bradley comes to mind too. Can’t think of anyone else.

The Great American Seal contains an Eagle with Olive branches in it’s Dexter claw (side of honour – right side of the shield bearer), and arrows in its Sinister claw – representing peace and war. On the original seal the eagles head was turned towards the Sinister – the arrows. It was Truman who changed the seal so that the Eagle’s head points to the Olive branches.

America’s entire history since the War for Independence has generally been war. Looks like we’re heading to another one.

Fly I agree with you completely. McMaster, like any other top executive, is not going to want staff working for him that have been appointed by others. Kelly is going to take complete control of the White House. That’s his job description – it’s what Trump appointed him to do.

I don’t know what Bannon is doing. Hanging on for dear life, I suppose.

The bigger problem is that Trump has established a reputation for trashing his most ardent supporters. Flynn, Sessions, Scaramucci, the list goes on. I also understand that Cernovich was issued a Press pass, and then it was withdrawn. Infowars has tried but could not obtain one, or had it withdrawn.

So, Cernovich has posed the question, who would want to go and work for Trump now? The best candidates are going to say no. Too much risk. Mooch sold his company, risked his family and lasted 11 days.

Seems that people close to Trump end up like Icarus who flew too close to the Sun.

What kind of talent would risk the humiliation or endure the incompetence of Trump’s paranoid “leadership style” for a few months, much less an entire term? He’s a nonstarter now. 17 day vacation, after harassing Obama for years and claiming he’d never leave the WH, also known as “a dump”, it’s laughable.

What kind of talent would risk the humiliation or endure the non-stop gotcha attempts by both parties and the media and deep state and other countries and etc. Day after day 24/7 ,since being elected. All the while pushing common sense ideas out to help actual Americans, which get no time of day because muh Russia.

Muh Russia is totally the reason why he’s being shat on every step of the way. He’s not responsible for any of the backlash, right? Like he’s made any attempt to work with anyone on the hill, or respected any chains of command, launching policy through tweetstorms, and referring to any criticism whatsoever as fake news. Refugee bans, Mexico-financed walls, America first (while making absolutely all his garbage branded shit overseas obv), and aligning yourself with self-styled dictators are common sense policies for middle class Americans? Gtfo here. He had a chance to revolutionize our government and he’s blowing it big time, being a jackass and incompetent.

            Agreed.

It amazes me people actually still believe the hype that this is a populist president. Healthcare is the perfect example.

Trump could have broken fucking arms in Congress to get something done on both sides of the aisle, and he would have, if he were fleetingly serious about his populist horseshit he tweets about.

After all, the only thing with a lower approval rating than 37% Trump right now is the 20% House of Representatives.

He didn’t run on repeal Obamacare, he ran on healthcare for everyone (and it will cost less too!). Instead, he outsourced the entire effort to the goblins running the GOP, while tweeting about the media and watching Fox and Friends for 6 months.

Did he tell Republicans he wanted MORE people covered by their efforts when it came back from the CBO? Did he think about ‘draining the swamp’ by triagulating the shithead republicans in the house and senate and kicking fucked-face McConnell / Ryan in the teeth for good measure? Did he bother to check if the Senate had a super majority?

No, no, and no. That’s because he isn’t a populist. He is a empty suit / warm body / circus clown act with a rubber stamp for the GOP.

Don’t know about these generals specifically, except that they’ve been carrying out “deep state” orders for decades. They’ve seen comrades killed by the enemies that the deep state made for us; that has to have affected them – eh? They’ve been living in our self-made swamp. And the enemies of concentrated interests, of our idiot geo-strategists and of Israeli expansionists, have likely become their own enemies. They have become part of the deep state.

There are reasons that you cannot get anyone into high office in this country if they want to improve relations and trade with Iran. There are reasons that the west wing gets staffed with Goldman alum regardless of which party is in power. This isn’t just random. It starts with self-censoring that every low level analyst in government, intel agencies, or at the “think tanks” that feed both, does to in order to give their bosses what they want. And continues when their bosses tune raw report still further in order to serve-up affirmation of their most vocal consumers’ views – of concentrated interests. The swamp is pervasive.

Does Trump believe that constant warmongering is good for us? I don’t know what the guy believes. But as for his appointments that need congressional approval, it is impossible to get someone through congress if they, for example, think that it is in our best interest to improve relations with Iran, with Syria, or with an Iran/Syria-friendly Russia.

One thing that sets many of these Generals apart from the politicians is that many have lost children to war. General Kelly lost his 29 year old son, Second Lt. Robert Kelly, to a road side bomb in Afghanistan in 2010, I believe.

A brand new form of government is appealing if it’s leadership shares your view. What happens a term or two later when the other view is in power?

I understand both democrat and republican controlled houses of Congress have changed the rules to suit their short term needs. These rule changes were later used against them when the other side had control.

“I think a lot of people will come to realize that electing Trump wasn’t enough. Many of these people are so sick of the corruption and lack of scalability in the middle class, they just want a whole brand new form of government.”

Lazy civic engagement in this country. Plenty of people figured all they needed to do was show up once every 4 years and pull a lever to ‘Drain the Swamp’. At least the Leftists seem to have figured out you need to do more (namely, burn public property, risk tear gas / rubber bullets & toss Molotov’s) to see real change.

To be fair, the more pragmatic GOP was perfectly position to co-op both the Tea Party Movement and now the anomalous election of Trump after years to gerrymandering and maneuvering.

It seemed transparent enough on Election Day, that a vote for Trump was actually a vote for the GOP swamp monster that cock-blocked center-right Obama for the last 4 years opposed to any populist agenda Trump may have been advertising.

After he capitulated to the neocon war party and signed away his power to normalize relations with Russia and Iran, I think it’s fair to say that Trump’s failure is complete …at least to those of us who want us to stay out of wars that cost $trillions and make us less safe.

Now that the alpha dog Trump has been neutered, he will be allowed to play in the social sandbox and talk about bathrooms, penis-chopping, gangs – you know, stuff that doesn’t matter to his masters. If he keeps being a good boy, they might even let him get his tax-free giveaway to idiot children of billionaires through.

Trump just doesn’t have the knowledge, the intellectual chops, or the communications skills to reach out beyond his base and overcome neocon state media control. Sad. Next.

This was my favorite fantastic headline from this week: SAVAGE: CIVIL WAR IF TRUMP TAKEN DOWN

This garbage always reminds me of 80’s Voltron cartoons: Keyboard Warriors – ASSEMBLE!

Firstly, there aren’t enough teenagers (key ingredient) or widespread unrest in this country for a civil war. The ones we do have are too depressed / consumed with swapping dic-pics to organize for political revolution.

Secondly, Americans lead the softest lives imaginable in our commodity utopia. You would see the country burn to the ground if the iPhone 8 isn’t released on time or if the NFL locked out this season.

And maybe that is what he is talking about, widespread looting and rioting, but that shouldn’t be conflated with civil war.

Re: new form of government- It is a presidency. Discount Trump’s media mastery, disregard for protocol, and style of leadership. So far, what legislative and administrative changes have been made by the Trump administration, and how do they compare with previous administrations at the six month period? Have other administrations caused greater long lasting change six months in?

Will be very interesting to see future election results. Where will voters take the country? I may not live to see it, but I think millenials may do something astounding when they are in control.
