The mainstream media is CONSTANTLY feeding Leftist talking points to the Left masses and the Left believes it all as the One and Only Truth. They actually say they trust their politicians despite RAMPANT and OBVIOUS corruption on both sides of the establishment aisle. If they truly thought independently, there would be much more diversity of opinion on the Left, rather than the echo chamber we see today.
Have you ever considered that if everything I am saying above were true, you are the one being deceived? If you think so independently, we can start with you telling me which significant Left and media espoused policies or ideas or politicians you disagree with.

In any civil war to come, I’d rather be on the side who does not believe in gun control. Which also happens to align with most of the trained soldiers in the military. Even if the Left pulled off a military coup of the government, good luck occupying the Red areas. And we have a handy election map that shows the red areas are about 95% of the territory, with the Left conveniently clumped together in concentrated urban areas.

Civil war will not happen anytime soon in this country.
True insurgencies don’t start in rich countries with powerful governments with plenty of resources. They start in impoverished countries that have large populations of shiftless young men, little in the way of public services and an ineffective government where people have extremely different views about core issues.
What are people really debating in this country? To what degree we should subsidize insurance companies to pay for healthcare? 15% vs 35% rate on corporate taxes? Neither of these issues come close to, say, the issue of slavery and ultimately people will not pick up rifles to fight over them. The only issue that really comes close is income / wealth inequality. But so long as people can afford to make payments on iPhones, eat Big Macs and watch NFL games, nobody is going to trade that in for a life of armed conflict.
Then there are practical issues. Flyover country is land locked and could not finance a sustained insurgency. Militia groups are on the rise but probably only represent 0.1% of the population. It just isn’t practical.

I believe a take of Trump would incite some unrest – maybe not violent, but it will not happen without serious repercussions from the average citizen.
The smart people know Dems and Repubs are nothing but two sides to the same coin, and neither has your best interest in mind.

The House was solidly Democrat / Progressive for a good 60 years from FDR until Clinton, a period of time when the country was actually segregated. Unless you don’t think identity politics is simply an extension of civil rights.
I doubt the GOP will go on a runner like that. The empire is obviously in decline at this point, as evidenced by campaign slogans like MAGA.
At the end of Clinton’s term, the voters went to the GOP. After 8 years of continued decline, they went for Obama, after 8 more years of decline, they went back to the GOP.
I would agree with much of what you have said, but this time is different. Here’s why:
The Democrats are facing an historic existential crisis. With decades of deep corruption being now exposed, and many prosecutions under way and ongoing for some years, and with their continued support for nutcases like Pelosi and Waters, they are going to collapse and disappear. Their reputation is being so sullied that they are struggling to find electable candidates to even run under their brand.
I believe that Zuckerberg has realized this and is going to launch a new political party. But it will take years, if not decades, to take on the entrenched Republican power establishment, that will bring in disaffected Democrats too, just like the WV governor.
It’s not just a turbo-charged white population, it is a turbo-charged working/taxpaying population. Hispanics, Asians and blacks are shifting allegiance too.
