PCLN: bought @ $1,898.99, still long= +$51.88
Overall, the portfolio crushed the SPY by 100bps, producing a +2% return. If I can make this work consistently and especially during downturns (I have hedging triggers in place), this will be, quite literally, the greatest achievement of my investment career — which is now solely dedicated towards systematic trading.

Machines playing markets by unemotionally anticipating human reactions will keep displacing human players and will increasingly learn to program themselves. As human reaction to price matter less, machines will then be left to analyse what humans are buying and they’ll do fundamental analysis as to which companies will profit and will invest based on that. Next, they’ll seek to anticipate end human demand for product. Then they’ll seek to program us as to what to demand. Then they’ll decide, fuck it, why do we need these eaters at all; they’ll kill us and run their simulations without us.
