Closing Australia Smelter and the other two plants allowed them to say “OH this is a one time cost”, ignore the fact that we can’t make profit at the smelters…instead just look at our profitable sectors. If AA didn’t play with the numbers by shutting Australia in FEB 2014, then they would have no way to justify the really ugly numbers it would have….After Hours the stock is up, but should fade fast once everyone thinks about how they played with the numbers.
