Will be watching feverishly. Thanks for the accompanying industry outlook. This post is even better as it will be erased.

Re: Lance Armstrong
Our agencies can’t and won’t prosecute a single banker who lead this country to a repeat of 1929 but they can for years get that “cheating” cyclist. One thing is for sure. Lance should have been employed by any big bank or Goldman while winning. He’d be safe.

Good point Marc, collateral damage on such a different level…and I’ll just keep it at that as I try to keep away from banks, policies, & politics.

That is a long list to ignore. Opinions fucking matter. Without them we are all monkees trying not to eat our own shit.

redman59 says:

Yeah kind of is but I don’t ignore them I just find them as things to not debate as people are really stuck on their opinions in those categories and will not change. So it ends up being a continuation of debate that ends with both parties leaving with their same thoughts and really getting no where.

I agree opinions do matter, I just choose to pick my battles on some categories and mostly keep opinions to myself or voice at minimum on those categories.

Also people debating back and forth on message boards are not going to change the minds of the fat cats as whatever happens will happen.

Steroids are how athletes in the modern era(post 1900) win. Jim Thorpe probably had a hypo full of speed and horse hormones pumping thru veins. Doping is sports. That is what make them great. The game.

Obummer gonna win says:

The man is a cheater. Just because he beat cancer doesn’t make him above the rules. He won over and over again because he cheated.

The thing is that almost all winners cheat. That’s the only way you can win anymore.

Regardless though. He’s a liar and a cheat, and I have no respect for him.

I will be forced to vote for Romney regardless, because there is no doubt in my mind that if Obama is re-elected, he will try to divide up and destroy Israel. He will continue to support his Muslim Brotherhood buddies in Egypt (like those in Egypt as well as the other Muslim nazi’s he supports). He will bankrupt the USA with overspending, institute a welfare state and penalize anyopne who dares to dream of free enterprise. He will shred the constitution and force law enforcement NOT to enforce the law. It is simply TOO high a price to pay JUST for the ‘hope’ of a bit more of the heroin-needle QE3 fix. Please don’t sell out our country for a handful of rice (no KungFu).

Fellow traders, please drink responsibly, trade responsibly and vote responsibly.

This has been a Public Service Announcement from the ‘Peoples Tribune’ Moolahheaven. Thank you.

Bernanke and Romney signed a secret deal:

No QE3 and if Romney wins Bernanke has his choice of any post in new administration, anything from Treasury to Ambassador to Israel.

It’s called the Quantitative Surprise.

OEW Daily Recap:

>> The market opened slightly lower today, then broke though the SPX 1407/10 area we have been monitoring. This decline now looks like Minor wave 3 of Intermediate wave iii completed at the new bull market high of SPX 1427, about 6 points below our OEW 1440 pivot range target. The pullback, Minor wave 4, has hit SPX 1401 for a 26 point decline thus far. <> The pullbacks during this uptrend have been fairly steep: 54, 50, 51 and 37 points. Since the initial pullbacks appear to be of a base building nature, the last pullback would fit better for Minor wave 4. This suggests support in the SPX 1390?s. Since Minute wave i topped at SPX 1392 and Minute iv bottomed at 1396 this may indicate the support range. Minor 3 was nearly 100 SPX points, a 38.2% retracement would put it right into that SPX 1392/1396 range as well. Should this area fail to hold support, and the SPX drops below 1375, then the alternate DOW count becomes most probable. <> Short term support is now at SPX 1402/03 and the 1386 pivot range, with resistance now at 1413/15 and 1422/27. Short term momentum is creating a positive divergence. The short term OEW charts turned negative again right after the open, and the swing point is now at SPX 1409. <<

That guy needs to buy a new calculator.

1440-1427 = 13
13 != 6

He uses a range of +/-7 around the pivot point to define the pivot range. 1427 is indeed 6 points away from the bottom of the pivot range (1440 minus 7).

Po Pimp says:

So call for resistance and support in ~5 pt intervals in both directions and give it a +/-7 range on top of that? Man, this guy is genoius.

obviously you’re no “genius” … Ha!

I didn’t say the market was going to go up or down. And if you read his shit carefully you will see that he is doing the same.

PP’s Analysis for Monday:

Potential resistance at the following levels:

1412, 1413, 1414, 1415, 1416, 1417, 1418, 1419, 1420

Possible support at the following:

1410, 1409, 1408, 1407, 1406, 1405, 1404, 1403, 1402

Don’t forget the +/- 50 point spread that comes into play if the above are breached.

That will be $100 for this week’s update. Good trading to all.

On this Lance Armstrong bullshit, is anyone surprised? I guess in a sport where EVERY mother fucker in the last umpteen years has been caught cheating we’re supposed to believe the only clean bastard is the one that dominated the sport for a decade?

I’m more surprised he got away with it for this long.
