Holding Out For Something Better

It was a nice day in my neighborhood today, thanks to robust and powerful market gains. Common thinking dictates we head lower from here. The rally has been too much, too quick. However, that is the very reason why I love stocks here. It might end up biting me in the face (no bathsalts); but I am willing to take risks while up 21.5% for the year.

Today was all about pressing the tire to the helmet, crushing shorts trapped inside liquidity traps. Should this rally continue, the lot of you will feel as if Knight Capital ran the most egregious errant buy program ever. Because of that specter, I like my chances long VHC, TEA, CTRP and EXK.

The losses you are going to endure, small plebs from Seeking Alpha, will be of the medicinal nature, teaching you the balance of the earth and human intuition. You will take these lessons from my own hand and carve it into your memory, to avoid reoccurrence in the future. You will hate me in the short term. However, longer term, you will owe me your life and livelihood.

For that, I am more than accommodative to dispatch you here, burdening you under the pressures of elephantine losses.

I LOVE it when you put stingers out for the fucking shorts! I bought $YELP again today: I ALSO bought $SPPI where 45% of the float is short as of 13 July. I might be a little early on $SPPI, but it looks like a great candidate for maybe a $4-5 per share profit!

There is only one explanation to this situation, and that is the central banks did, indeed, announce the next round(s) of QE during their recent meetings. I didn’t see it or hear it, but obviously that is what happened. Miners may be about to really take off…by the time the formal announcements come in september, their run could be behind us.

Sell when Fly does, he is never wrong on EXK. Because right when you think miners are going to the moon they go straight down into the mine shaft.

I sold EXK today…probably early but 8.20ish has been a pretty good sell price the last few go-rounds.

however, i own VGPMX in one of the stupidest purchases of my lifetime, so I am in desperate need of a decent miners run.

Ish, I look at the holdings and wonder what the mgr was thinking about. Cash it in and buy gold and forget about it.

The holdings are horrific. A bad decision made in haste driven by the limitations of having some of my money tied up at vanguard.

Unfortunately gold or even GDX are not easily purchased by me from that account. So i will hopefully get lucky and get a bounce and will exit into something more traditional.

Wow. Impressive. LeFly.

.:. Now that Fly’s outside NY, will tossing handicaps in wheelchairs down man holes and burning-hot-pizza batteries cease too??? ?

Once I went quasi-Villa, it was Ob1Kenobi on the riff raff (i.e., they CANNOT see me let alone be aware I’m in the same 4-wall).

This is not prophecy but rather an old boring narrative trapped in cyclical market ignorance. (“Owe” being the operative word, here).

No, baby carrots are gay. Cherry tomatoes are the unsung heroes of the vegetable world.

A man of your taste should be able to appreciate them.

I went with Wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon on my Kamado Smoker/Grill. Smoked it over some cherry wood and had a light herb butter coating on it with an addition of generous fresh dill towards the end of the smoke.
Saved the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Forgot to add that one of the black bear cubs living in our woods came by the grill after I was done and was trying to figure out how to get the cover off.
I took a video and picture of it on my cell but don’t know how to upload it here.

Where have you been, thought you got lost in the grocery store sampling free food and wine.

Ha Ha. Good one!
Sick of trading (burned out, too) and spent some time helping out on an outside project and was looking for permanent employment.
Too much experience and too old, even though I didn’t care about the pay.
Back to trading (SMH etf, etc.) and doing long bike rides (20 miles today).
