While many out there got blown the fuck out during this recent sell off, I managed to pull rabbits out of my magic top hat and surge to annual highs, now +15%.
All of my positions are soaring and I still hold a 23% cash position. I intend, during the next PPT Overbought signal, to lighten up and celebrate vis a vis champagne and beluga caviar. So you know, none of you are invited to accompany me during such an occasion.
As some of you fuck up your portfolios, short banks like an extra special bearshitter, I am here to inform you, without equivocation, this market is going the fuck higher.
Mostly everyone got it wrong because they were scared. I am not hating on people who traded this tape wrong. However, I am calling out all of the dicksuckers who were so smug and giving me shit as the market knifed lower.

there was absolutely nothing bearish about friday, not a hint of selling.

Watch the financial talking heads trying to come up with a commentary for that.
Why did the market go up today? Some will say because B.B. “King” left the door open next month but it could be a few items.
Because market makers with unlimited leverage can move the market to benefit themselves with options in low volume.
So most people based on B.B. saying NO easy queesy went short. Logic would say go short. But the PPT working group needed to show confidence in the markets so they kept it bid and it was a great opportunity for the machines to go long and pocket the majority of fund flows which were short.
The market makers just vacuumed up profits, and to make money in this environment you need to be a contrarian to logic. News tries to be really bullish or bearish to get investors on one side, then they flip the script. So Earthquakes! Hurricanes! No QE! -Result = Markets Up.
B.B. “King” may have also gotten smart about investment bots that can now read language – he used inflation many times in the speech and did not mention deflation once.
By the way Fly, we were overbought and never acheived an oversold at close? I am hoping for a drop early next week to buy in and then run to the 3 day weekend.

j- yes. We’re at a big risk of trees coming down. We’ve had a lot of rain in the past few weeks and the ground is still saturated. The prospect of an additional 10 inches of rain and even moderate wind, will take out a lot of trees and power. Hopefully none fall on the house. I’ve got the chain saw at the ready, and enough water, food, batteries, candles, propane, fuel, wind up radios and lanterns, and ice for about 5 days.
Since we’re in the out in the “country” of Connecticut, we get power restored after the high population densities are done.
It looks like NYC, is going to take the worst of the storm surge. They haven’t had to go through this for a long while. I hope they stay safe.

Well, Scott was throwing in the towel and flatly stating that the market was lost. Even Macke, who has been a bear recently, could not match the pessimism that Scott exhibited. Supporting his opinion, Scott gave nothing of substance, and guess what happened…the market soared. I was angry with Bleier because I had loaded up on 8/22 with my own signal, probably very much like yours Fly, but probably lacking in some areas.
