Names like FLS, CLF, OXY, JNPR, CMI or even JCP interest me.
In the event the market continues to get flushed, the damage to your portfolio will be less than heinous, if long some big cap names. Should you opt for a smaller cap portfolio and we continue to spiral, I wish you Godspeed and farewell.

Now that it’s broken $ 31, I’ve entered a “sniper-scalp” put to the next $ 27.50 support floor. I expected market rally today, it’ll probably hit tomorrow and I’ll be red in the face. But, then again, lots of volume in CHK, so I’m willing to buy-in today and peal my profits tomorrow morning. We’ll see, maybe long this week if the Bulls return (as it’s been a S&P co. for some time).
P.s.: I rode this baby through Katrina, quite nice I might add.

Agreed Fly, A bounce is due. My bet is it will start with a flush, first, to put the stupidist of traders into overvalued shorts and allow the smart folk to exit cleanly and reposition. Big Money knows there is panic brewing, why not instigate a little, and buy at supreme valuations 20 or 30 SnP points lower. Just my guess. We have a weak close that leads to a gap down to open in the next couple days. It aint worth more than my measly 18% short exposure that i’m looking to cover into such a flush. Been holding said tiny short since SnP 132 and change. otherwise, sitting in the almighty dollar. Good lordy.
