A few months back, while speaking on the phone with Senator Jakegint, he told me “AGQ is going to $400.” At the time, I was long silver, specifically EXK, AG and even a little AGQ. I thought to myself “that would be ludicrous” if that should occur, not so much different than a truck falling off the Empire State building. To be fair, Jakegint has been saying these crazy things for a long, long time. During that time, I’ve been all over the road, like a drunk driver in a bumper car. I’ve gone through many fashionable phases since then, from HUGH HENDRY deflation to JIM ROGERS “fuck your face with a bow tie” inflation. However, Jakegint has always, and I mean always, said “gold and silver are going substantially higher.”
You should read his blog sometime: he has only turned a massive family fortune into a gargantuan one.
By the powers vested in me, I hereby declare 4/25: JAKEGINT is GOD day (JIG), in order to preserve the memory of such a mammoth win, now that silver has gone unicycle retardo to the upside.
Have the kids and your stupid grandparents acknowledge such an egregious day, forever.

The fundamentals for silver work. Until they don’t anymore. If Fed comes out and confirms they’re done printing tomorrow, what happens to the silver market? I know among all the ZeroHedgers QE-Infinity is a foregone conclusion, but as far as I’m concerned, I’m not writing the dollar’s obituary just yet.
Fair enough. I generally underestimate “government fuckery”. In fact, it very well could play out as you suggest: Announce the end of QE, dollar soars, PM decline a bit, stocks in the toilet for big banks to buy the shit at huge discount. Then announce more QE which reverses everything. The first time I bought silver in size, was the first recent time it hit $19. So perhaps cue the fuckery again. I’m still holding despite nearly 50% initial paper loss. Over the longer term silver has no where to go but up (barring pandemics or orbital mining).
Well deserved and remember, the bull move is not done though there will be intense pullbacks.

It was quite a coincidence… Only short-term though… If I’ve learned one thing from Jake, it is that there are violent pullbacks in the greater uptrend that will make you question your sanity. And he has been unloading recently in anticipation of this.
GLD is up today! The silver ETF’s will remain on the uptrend as long as the gold ETF’s are on the uptrend until QE2 is over in June.
The JIG is up? Maybe. Silver (SLV) broke a parabolic uptrend for the first time
in six weeks this morning, at about 10:15. The 20 day MA sits at 40, and
the 50-day at 36. I’m betting it hits the 20-day this week.
