Make Reagan Proud

Gentlemen of America (I assume only men take the time to vote),

Past American generations had to fight wars and get their arms ripped from torso, caused by the friction between the treads of a tank and gravel. Other generations had to throw knives into eye sockets and burn down whole cities, in order to “restore peace.” All you need to do is VOTE REPUBLICAN and do so often, in order to restore America back to its former glory. It really is that simple, like a chia-pet. Apply votes to machine and voila, a brand new country will emerge.

It might seem funny to you, partly due to your democrat inspired public education; but it’s not a game anymore. Let’s all avoid armed revolt, for the love of homosexual baseball teams winning the World Series, just vote GOP. After all, are there any democrats hotter than Palin? I thought so.

Over the next 12 hours or so, iBC will be all about politics, rooting for America to regain freedom, in the form of House and Senate majority for the GOP. If you are a demoncat, your local abortion clinic will be shut down shortly. No, seriously, you will endure a heinous loss today, due to the fact that your parties leaders are mentally ill, unlike our leaders. We have strong future leaders like Sharron Angle, Carl Paladino and Christine O’Donnell, while you have a black panther in the White House. I kid, I kid.

Relax and enjoy the jargon from some of the GOP’s best.

Fly doing the passive aggressive thing again, making like O’Donnel and Palidino — who won’t even win — are “party leaders.”

Meanwhile, it’s his vote that secured Barack Obama in his place of Righteous Tidal Oversight, not to mention assuaged the true leaders of the Democrat Party — Dirty Harry Reid and Nutzy Pelosi.

There is no hiding behind irony on those three folks — they actually ARE the leaders of that party! lol.

Meanwhile, I’d challenge any Democrat to match a Democrat statesman of the caliber of Paul Ryan, Chris Christie, or Mitch Daniels.

I gave you three… you need only supply me one. (and I have more, of course)

The purchased mainstream media is expert at manipulating public perception. These perceptions determine the way people vote.

Until the general population begins to demonstrate they are even a little educated about the REAL issues, I will not bother voting.

That effort is better spent on educating voters.

    The entire Stockman interview here:

    http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7009217n&tag=contentMain;contentBody

40 Trillion $ … somehow it seems to me that the people controlling 40 trillion in wealth would want to support the country (and it’s government) that allowed them to acquire that kind of wealth and think of it as an act of patriotism as much as their moral support of our troops and flag …. otherwise they’re really just blowing smoke with all their talk of freedom.

Take the time … you’re the one always touting tax relief. Why don’t you accept reality and start dealing with it rather than blame it on parties? Shuttling back and forth from party to party will never repair the damage but succeed in postponing the issue to the next generations … just like the energy problem that’s been put off since the 70’s this debt issue too will be laid to rest for now.

Again, I have no idea what you are talking about. The tax burden is more concentrated on “the rich” than it ever was in the past 200 years of our Republic.

Please, clue in, stop accepting socialist propaganda as gospel, and understand how economics work. It’s quite simple, investment begets employment which begets consumption. If you interfere with any of those steps, via gov’t meddling or inefficient redistribution, you will get debt and deficits, and an economy runnin on three cylinders instead of eight.

In other words, an economy that we’ve had with the Dem Congress in charge for the last four years.

I will “accept responsibility” for not being able to convince enough of you the error of your ways. Hopefully, today’s actions will remedy some of that.

            Stockman’s a socialist?

            http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/brent-baker/2010/11/01/60-minutes-promotes-washington-s-1098-income-tax-initiative-stahl-hails

STAHL, ON STOCKMAN: He says there should be a one-time 15 percent surtax on the wealthy that he estimates would cut the national debt in half.

STOCKMAN: In 1985, the top five percent of the households, wealthiest five percent, had net worth of $8 trillion, which is a lot. Today, after serial bubble after serial bubble, the top five percent have net worth of $40 trillion.

            STAHL: Oh my God.

STOCKMAN: The top five percent have gained more wealth than the whole human race had created prior to 1980.

STAHL: Of course it would never pass. There’s the rub.

            STOCKMAN: There’s the rub.

STAHL: The antipathy to raising taxes or making any real spending cuts, whether in Washington D.C. or Washington State, is so intense, Stockman despairs that when Congress returns after the election, they’ll do what they often do: nothing.

STAHL: I remember that great expression, “Let’s kick the can down the road,” that became kind of the mantra.

STOCKMAN: Yeah, and it still is today.

STAHL: Just kick it down the road. We’ll solve it tomorrow.

STOCKMAN: Kicking the can down the road, except it’s no longer a can. It’s a giant junkyard.

So, let me get this straight… you want to levy a 15% surtax on all the capital in this country held by the top 5% in order to pay for 100% of the country’s populations’ debt?

Well yes, Teahouse, that is socialism, or theft, whatever you’d like to call it.

Whatever happened to the Constitionally mandated equal taxation principles? Don’t worry, it’s only one of the main reasons for the American Revolution.

Hey, I’ve got a better idea! Since the American people own most of the land out west, let’s start auctioning it off to pay off the debt. Then at least people will get something for their trouble.

No, that’s probably not socialist enough for you. PS — Leslie Stahl is a grade A moron.

Exactly the opposite my good man. It’s your side — the socialists — who “lock everyone in” in a feudal system by putting high charges on income. If you want others to “get there’s” then allow them to keep what they earn. Isn’t that only fair?

Why in the world would you seek to steal from others so that you can pay down the bill for the bloated government you have chosen? Why not pay for it honestly, or — God forfend — actually curtail your riduculous spending?

And FYI — everything I have I have worked for, just like all of the bloggers on this site, but I am by no means one of the super rich in the sense of Warren Buffet and George Soros, who have the means to secret their wealth away from the tax eaters like yourself.

If you want to give away 15% of your capital in order to save your bloated government, why not do so voluntarily? I wish to shrink government and grow the private sector, which will benefit everyone far more than your inefficient power grabbing redistribution schemes.

What argument could you possibly have against that, save that you wish to aggregate power in a centralized state?

If all you have is petty insult, I’m going to assume the answer to that is “None.”

            Good DAY to you, sir.

FYI — the top 5% is a pretty big pool. I think it goes to about $100,000 in income, and net worth is not much different.

So pretty much everyone who visits this site, save for perhaps the very young, are in that category.

            No big whoop.

If you are “very young” — which your politics of envy and post of derision seem to indicate, you are forgiven. We were all socialist asshats at one time or another.

Nope, 90% may have been a top rate, but the highest brackets had so many loop holes almost no one paid that much, and in fact the tax burden was shared FAR more liberally across income groups than it is today.

What people never talk about w. Reagan is that yes, he cut the top rates, but he also got rid of a tonne of loopholes, so people actually PAID those taxes.

1986 was a bad year for tax & estate planners (or a good year if you include hours worked). Ask anyone that you might know in that field.

What’s come down is that today, 50% of the population pays zero, and the top 1% pay 40%, top 5% 60+% and top ten close to 75% of the income taxes.

My psychic says it will be a sweep. I love you Ronnie but I have to tell you that the traitor bastard David Stockman has been on CNBC talking bullshit again. I told you he should have been neutered while at OMB.

You’re wrong my dear friend, wronger than L.T. getting HJ’s from 15 year olds…Romney Care was morphed by the Mass liberal congress… And my belief is we will still see the economy being the main focus of the 2012 campaign…

Healthcare will be the economy, part and parcel, by 2012.

And Daniels and Christie do not have Mitt’s baggage. Listen, I love the guy, no scheiss. I have a friend who used to work for him at Bain Cap who would take a bullet for the guy… I just don’t think he’s got the ability to get out of the primaries with “the Anchor.”

Wrong…If Rudy would have not waited til Florida Mitt would have been the nominee…He’ll win the primary and EASILY blow the door’s off the Obama car wreck….

Delusional. He’s also got that Mormon problem the evangelicals have such a problem with.

I think Christie will change his mind… wait and see.

If not, there is always Mitch Daniels. Get a look into his background. The guy is rock solid, and was a “Christie” before Christie, albeit in a more conservative state*.

*(But one that voted for Barack Obama in 2008, the same year Daniels got re-elected in a landslide).
