Vote Them Out

It’s very easy for me to post “crazy people” clips of prospective GOP candidates, in order to discount the movement. If you’ve been reading me for awhile, you know that I am politically indifferent. However, I fully support voting out all incumbents, even if it means voting in lunatics. The current roster of politicians are a disgrace to brains and should be escorted out of office in silver bracelets. I doubt there has ever been a time in this nations history when its representatives have been so inept/corrupt. Agreed?

A Republican victory ensures a slap in the face of incumbents. Furthermore, if things do not change, we will vote out all of the republicans, until they (the dogs who represent us) start to listen and enact the will of the people. There is an argument against “the people” by elitists who say “they don’t know anything. They are stupid.” That sort of thinking is what dictatorships are made from—total and complete rubbish.

Having said that, I am not an optimist, with regards to the Tea Party or any party for that matter. I just like seeing people get rebuked, then fired.

I am 100 Pahcent in agreement with the aforesaid.

Keep booting them in the ass until they get the message. I’ve already got a target on John Boehner and Mitch McConnell’s butts. Let them start going back to the Dark Side just once…. Never again can we have the disgrace that was the GOP from 2002-2006.

The time to be bullish on elections was back in early summer, when 20% “real” unemployment made republican win inevitable. I pointed that out several times in Summer. Republicans could have won this thing with no advertising or campaigning. Cakewalk.
But we have completely priced this in.

You sure are fixated on taxes. I’m actually fixated on spending, as it is what is crowding out the private sector right now. Cut government spending, and then you will have room to continue to cut taxes and pay down debt.

It’s simple economics, and what’s best is you don’t have to put in some Rube Goldbergian Giant Theft Plan in order to pull it off.

“Self-serving?” Why should I not beleive that the best economy we can have is not “everyone-serving?” You Dems, always thinking you are helping, but you can’t help but destroy.

You can call me any names you like, as I am articulating my points via my posts here. Intelligent people can work out what I’m standing for when I argue agains the confiscation ploys that you have brought to the table.

Did you, or did you not re-post here, in a positive light — the ramblings of John Stockman concerning a 15% excise on the capital of 5% of the population? How else would you characterize such an idea beyond common theft? I am calling it socialism to put a shiny veneer on it, but if you’d rather call a spade a spade I’m all for it.

You see, Tea, I am not picking on you, but merely showing you what you are actually advocating. You cannot dress up a pig and call it Miss America. If you advocate a short cut via theft, you are not addressing a problem you are only covering it up.

            That means it will return.

It’s not theft … we use to have a 90% tax rate (that was theft!) to support gov’t spending on programs conservatives advocate like defense and transportation but now those rates are a shell of what they once were and instead of raising them “some” you would advocate a fairer flat tax now that the middle class has picked up the tab for the last 40-50 years and is sliding into poverty? … a regressive tax for the masses without a contribution toward the debt foisted upon the nation from those that gained the most over that period of “tax reform” , that’s thievery at it’s best Jake!

            More from Stockman:

It’s mostly forgotten now, even denied by some conservatives, but Reagan actually signed three tax increases that took back roughly 40 percent of his famous tax cut and signaled his own suspicion about supply-side claims.

Stockman finds no shortage of guilty Republicans in his tale of GOP fiscal irresponsibility. He even traces the start of the current malaise to economist Milton Friedman, whom he credits with having talked President Nixon in 1971 into abandoning the gold standard in 1971 and igniting a 40- year spree of easy-money and public borrowing.

It’s an $8 trillion error “that Milton Friedman said could never happen,” Stockman added. The Reagan administration did manage to wipe out inflation, thanks to then-Federal Reserve chairman Paul Volcker, now an adviser to President Obama. But alas, only to have supply-siders claim the tax cuts did the trick. In the process, he said, they “hooked Republicans for good on the delusion that the economy will outgrow the deficit if plied with enough tax cuts.” How true. It was former Vice President Dick Cheney, you’ll recall, who uttered those infamous words “deficits don’t matter. Reagan proved that.”

I think conservatives drank the kool-aid but won’t admit to the aftertaste ….

STOCKMAN: In 1985, the top five percent of the households, wealthiest five percent, had net worth of $8 trillion, which is a lot. Today, after serial bubble after serial bubble, the top five percent have net worth of $40 trillion. The top five percent have gained more wealth than the whole human race had created prior to 1980.

2012 will be radically different than 2008. The winner of the primary will be much different (read more conservative) than 2008. The only way Romney would have a chance is if he is the lesser of two evils because most of the grass roots doesn’t love him.

I don’t know who will win the nomination but I am pretty sure that anyone who has run 3 or more times already is not going to get serious consideration. His organization might keep him in it during the early rounds but I expect someone new to national politics like Jindal or Christie to trounce Romney.

    To all you Coon lover’s…

Most polls have predicted that the closely watched Delaware Senate race between Democrat Chris Coons and Republican tea-party favorite Christine O’Donnell was going to be anything but close. One poll last week had Mr. Coons up by 10 points, while all the others gave him a far more comfortable margin.

But Democrats in Delaware remain skittish.

In a noon email alert to supporters, Coons campaign manager Christy Gleason said close monitoring of voter turnout in the state’s 41 representative districts showed “lower turnout in New Castle and Kent counties than we’re comfortable with.”

To win, Mr. Coons will have to get heavy support from Democrats and independents in New Castle, the state’s most populous county. In the primary, Ms. O’Donnell drew heavy support from the state’s other two counties, Kent and Sussex, which skew more to the right.

Actually, I told the esteemed Mr. Gint last night that this race will be much closer than expected. Turnout will be the key and O’Donnell could win a nail biter.

The polls are a farce. Most are using a very similar turnout model to the 2008 election. I’ve got news for you. Turnout today is much different than 2008.

1st whoever you vote for is probably going to mess up and the 1 headed two party monster will continue
2nd given that you vote for the guy, he can do whatever he wants, and by law of karma you share his burden of bad karma from his mistakes since you were the “enabler”.
Some may say if you don’t vote you are letting them in, but you can say “the other guy wouldn’t have been any better, I didn’t vote for either of those incompetant losers.

So if you want good karma vote for yourself with a write in candidate or no one at all. At least that way after they mess up you can’t say it was your fault in any way, because you didn’t vote for anyone that was going to mess up the country…

By saying you support any idiot the elits choose, whether it’s elitist 1 or elitsit 2 you are supporting their doctrine of “the people are stupid” Heads they lose, tails they win, so you might as well bet on it landing on the side of the coin, via voting for yourself, so that way you don’t shoulder the blame and the bad karma that comes with supporting a guy that’s going to vote to send in guys to slaughter other countries for oil, or that’s going to keep people ignorant of how well developped the baby is before it’s aborted and murdered against it’s will as it clings and fights for it’s life.

I say we all write in “the fly” and vote for him, at least in exchange for the bad karma we may receive due to his takeover of the planet, we will at least receive entertainment value, unlike the current status of politics which is basically transformed into showbusiness for ugly people who aren’t funny.

You mischaracterize the side that wants less government. You cannot say they are being “elitist” and talking down to people when there whole aim is to devolve power AWAY from the Central government and back to the people.

That’s what Consitutional gov’t is all about, and that’s what at least this side is looking for. You do your write schtick and you will get the “abdication” karma of one who never strives.

Voter turnout is heavy to very heavy at precinct 815 in New Smyrna Beach. An omen it is. They’re going out boys and girls. Out. Out. No more fund raisers with hirsute Chinese fortune cookies.
