Anyone in the business of managing money knows what tomorrow is: Wall Street 2 Day. “The Fly” will be viewing the movie, during lunch time. So, don’t expect to see me much around these parts tomorrow. Don’t leave any bullshit comments on this blog, besmirching the movie, for it is a classic. I really don’t care if the sequel sucks cock. I will view it, nonetheless, as Gordon Gekko is Bossman King. I will be posting my review here, for all of you small plebs to read at your leisure.
On a separate note, it was written that the markets would tumble, just in time for the movie debut, based upon the belief that “it’s all Hollywood baby.”
We shall see.

When the first movie came out, the markets recovered after having tumbled weeks earlier, so I am not sure where we got this idea that the marked will tumble because of the movie.

Sequels always suck. Lazy writing, washed-up acting, and a complete lack of creativity.
Except for Terminator 2. That’s one where the 2nd improved.
Disagreud. The first Terminator is way better, just from an originality standpoint, but also the direction was better.
Only sequels that were better were arguably, Godfather II and the second films in both the LOTR and the Potter series, but then those last two were really more “continuations” on a single story than sequels.

I’m in the housing business. One of the biggest killers I am seeing right now is people selling because they lost their job. Overall conditions in the market are much better. If jobs were to really get going we could see a totally different market. The question is when will the job market pickup happen.
Jobs are dependent on how fast the UN’s sustainable development movement can create jobs for everyone, that don’t at the same time destroy the economy. Community colleges across the country are now coordinating new programs that will teach people how to extract new carbon taxes from the masses. Pay $2,500 and earn a certificate that gives you a job screwing your community via new taxes. Once that’s in place, we’re good to go.
When Texas and Alaska leave the USA and everyone else gets a crappy job in a bleak pseudo-communist existence.
