Revenge is a Dish Best Served Repeatedly

Despite my “fuck you, you’re dead” internet persona, I never hurt people in real life, who didn’t already have it coming to them. With success (trading, blogging, life in general) comes jealousy and hatred. Such hatred can make an idiot do what comes natural to him/her: attack. With most people, haters are permitted to run rampant, as most “normal” people do not enjoy conflict or getting involved in inane debates. Well, you motherfuckers came to the wrong Fly, for I will fucking massacre you.

I will send 30 male hookers to your house (one for each day of the month). I can dispatch people to go on road trips and leave dead fish in your beautiful garden or send paid pizzas to your residence, every night at 10pm. I do not ask for much. All I ask is to be left alone. I don’t like people and I hate when slimy sleezeballs enter into my fray. Everything is traceable and I do not play fair, so fuck off before I make your life difficult.

On a separate note, the markets will climb tomorrow, effectively throwing salt in the eyes of some of you [[FAZ]] clam-fuckers. You got your dick stuck in a clam and there is no way out but loose.

God speed.

If Brown is elected in MA, the market will rocket on Wednesday as well and Tuesday could be up just based on polling numbers – health care specifically

if the other one is elected (what the hell is her name?), does that mean the market will go down? or is this just a “buy brown” trade?

Who knows? She had all the corporate fascists in healthcare (those looking to fix the game to their permanant advantage) giving her money the other day, so maybe those are the stocks to buy?

            Exactly Jake!

Couldn’t have said it better. “Corporate fascist” .. who knows? If it wasn’t so polluted with government screwing with the capitalist system, a Brown win would pull the market up.

            too funny. i love it.

in the end, i will take my “up” days as they come and not plan to short (yet). i am a little astounded we have come so far on such a straight line. i have wrongly called for a decent correction since august, so saying “we go down after this earnings season” rings in deaf ears. while i expect the market to go some distance in the wrong direction before we get a positive (negative?) signal from the fly to short things, even if for only a month or two, the distance gained by not being short in the interim is far more beneficial.

i wonder if we can figure out how much “liquidity” is contained by the fed and its trading floor to determine when its equity inflation activities have run a smidge beyond its risk limit. the idea being that as long as the “liquidity” is largely contained within the fed it never really happened to begin with. this might give an idea as to when the straight line breaks.

as another view to when this madness breaks, obama’s need to make symbolic achievements that erase the effect of the bush presidency suggests we hit at least 1200 before we stop. add in dollar destruction and 10% unemployment (view this from the perspective of less people to pay who will never ever be employed again) and maybe something closer to 1300 or 1400 is possible.

finally, i worry that all this tends to rationalization for the continuing trend. while still focused long/not short, my risk profile will tend toward conservative until we see some sort of corrective pullback. i am playing the current trend and garnering some decent returns now that my shorts are not holding me back, but nothing like in days of old when both sides rocked hard.

the ma election is a sideshow.

            Sailorboy,

I’m definitely a novice, but my trend following software is still telling me that the long , intermediate and short term trends are still up. Although the short term trend is getting close to suggesting that we get to the sidelines for awhile, because I been here many times before since the start of March, I’m staying long until the intermediate term starts to reverse.

As such, I willing to take a hit to capture the main part of each trend. And that’s because there were so many times when my emotions said get out and the market resumed it upward course.

The Brown analysis although I’m definitely doing it too is probably beside the point.

What I have been doing to avoid ripping large amount of facial skin from my body in the case that we do correct with exuberance is lightening up and raising cash. I’m up to 30% cash currently and may or may not raise more depending on what happens tomorrow.

In any case, that’s my take!

Among the things that you’re missing is that Brown proudly extols Mass’ health care reforms (in which he played a part as a legislator.) Those reforms mandate that everyone get private insurance (or be penalized), with government paying those private insurance premiums for illegals and for those below certain earned income levels. Nothing was done on cost containment and the program has left Mass in a deep financial hole. Brown is not the conservative savior that you imagine (even though he sports your beloved “R”.)

The media is playing today’s vote as a referendum on Obamacare. While the most reliable voters (scared Medicare recipients) will come out to vote against Obamacare/Coakley, I’d like to see exit polling that assesses how pissed-off voters are about Obama’s continuation of GWB’s big bank giveaways. If Brown wins in MA, it will likely be because people are finally waking-up to how thoroughly our country has been raped by these assholes and Obama’s bank fee play last week is the White House’s late realization of that fact.

All agreud, and yes, I knew about Brown’s role in Romney-care (as I knew about Romney’s role).

I actually think the reason Brown may win today is mainly because the people of Taxachussetts have finally overdosed on the high tax for “increased” gummint services formula — and, ironically — it was a Republican Governor’s “health care solution” (statist, of course) that drove them over the edge.

In other words, the people of Taxachusetts have been confronted — in a far more evident fashion than their typical “frog in a boiler” increased tax environment — with an example of increased costs getting them worse services than they previously enjoyed.

Again, this paradigm has been the case in Massachusetts for years, but on a much slower timeline, and so was never so noticeable as the recently emplaced ridiculously high cost, lower service “health solution” model, which is all respects a preview of Obamacare.

Thank’s Mass, for taking the bullet.

(PS — Brown has said he will vote against Obamacare, maybe he’s learned his lesson?)

      Teahouse,

How did you come up with that Nom de plume? I found myself saying it in my head the other day for no reason at all. Is it just memorable or does it have a deep and secret meaning? Perhaps a mantra that get stuck and won’t go away?

It’s a fav jazz tune with a reference to this blog community (Flytown):

        Out on the fringe
Where the shallows meet the scratchlands
Out where hope and the highway ends
        You can park or cruise
        Both ways you lose
This is Flytown now my friend

You take a walk on Bleak Street
Tonight could be the night you crash
        Then you turn and stop
        Start to fingerpop
You think you hear a wailin’ combo
You climb a flight of twisted stairs
        Some cat says buddy

        Chorus:
        If you’ve got eyes
        To rhythmatize
Bring your flat hat and your ax
        ‘Cause tonight at ten
        We’ll be workin’ again
At the Teahouse on the Tracks

The Siegel Bros. were slammin’ out a baion
So slick it should have been a crime
Irene and Flocko and little Amy Khan
Lead off the big front line
The crowd was bouncin’ in sync with the pulse
You get a case of party feet
        (Then the room turns bright
        And fills up with light)
And then from somewhere deep inside you
Some frozen stuff begins to crack
        Better hurry

        Chorus:
Take the T-Line to Bleak and Divine
Just above the Good Time Flats
        It’s your last chance
        To learn how to dance
At the Teahouse on the Tracks

        On Sunday morning
        You’re back at the wheel
You’re feelng calm and crisp and strong

        Chorus:
        If it feels right
        Just drive for the light
        That’s the groovessential facts
Someday we’ll all meet at the end of the street
At the Teahouse on the Tracks

Donald Fagen from Kamakiriad, no? i suppose it’s jazzy, as Donald/steely dan does get some of their influence from Jazz. but it’s more of a light rock concept album, if you ask me. Great album
