APOL is perking up
Nice to hear. I “yoloed” some GMCR Oct puts on the retrace higher yesterday and cashed into strength this AM. Also, bought LNKD Oct 120 puts here. Long MCP at 5.50 for a day trade as it is carving out a round bottom.
not LNKD, but ULTA on its 2/3 retrace from recent lows to recent highs.
BTW, OA totally pre-cogged the silver diggers last night.

Flare (n) – Incendiary or pyrotechnic device use for positioning and distress signals
Flare (v) – The act of transitioning an aircraft from nose-down descent to nose-up attitude in the seconds immediately preceding touchdown. An early flare results in a stall, consequently causing the aircraft to drop from a height of 10 to 15 feet directly onto the runway. A late flare results in the impact of the aircraft at descent speed onto the tarmac. Ideally the terminus of the flare results in an aircraft stall at approxiamately 1-3 feet above the runway, resulting in a gentle landing.
Both early and late flares can cause severe damage to the landing gear of the aircraft and possible passenger injury.
Moral – don’t be early, don’t be late.
As to trading, I am a happy camper approaching Option Friday. Noah hits its 52 week high for the 3d day in a row, exited AAPL this morning at 504, rolled Oct YGE’s into Nov for a .15 premium, order placed for VMW awaiting fill. Got out of tomorrows CRUS better than expected (will probably re-enter).

I’ve made money on the 50 calls, the 55 calls, and my 60 calls are up 50% (Nov).
Easy to Manage (set it and forget it). Usually good for 50 or so percent/contract with fairly nice entry prices (.70 to .80 for the 60’s as of today).

On my screen, it shows 0 (ZERO) open interest on all in-range calls AND puts. It even shows volume on some of them but NO open interest. Tomorrow’s options are normal as are Nov.

These are the charts that drive me crazy. I’m long (in @ 17.50). and this stock has been range bound 24-26 for months. Then all of a sudden it gaps up, see some chasers at the open and it hits a 52 week high. Could I ask you to spend 30 seconds on this chart in AH today ?
