It’s about that time of year again. This is where guys make a dash for trash into year end.
I’ve been pondering the question…what stocks would I catagorize as trash, dog shit, poor man’s treasure, etc.
I’m compiling a list as we speak. My time frame is long enough to ensure your holiday stockings are chock full o’ shit.
A few early thoughts….$P, $TWTR, $TRIP, $ACIA, $MEET, $TWLO.

This might be the spot for $ESRX. Debating long term calls or shares.
Calls look pretty darn cheap here – decent volume in the May 18 $60 strikes today….
That was the strike I was eyeing . I’ll have to see if my order hit.

Every time in the last 5 years $ESRX has run the stops like this, it has made a major reversal to the upside, May ’18 should be plenty of time.

Some very interesting shorts as well. I love the idea of $COHR.
Upon closer inspection from a few different angles, there are qualities of this $COHR that look like a broadening pattern into a consolidation (looking at the 12 month daily). There aren’t really many checks with the upper end of the range on the consolidation, but I can still see something there.
I remember we talked about a couple of those recently…. does anyone remember the tickers? I’m trying to see how they resolved.
