One has to respect Liesman for being true to his nerdship. He’s a numbers man and doesn’t let politics get in the way of a good circle jerk. Here’s Steve beating off to the February jobs report, with Joe “the wig” Kernen heckling in the background — demanding that Trump be given credit, all the while Santelli screams about rates needing to go up and all sorts of other bullshit.
I just got back from walking my coyote and my fingers are frozen and feel like they could snap off at any moment. I lost my leather gloves and can’t get myself to put on another pair — so here I am with frozen fingers and all blogging away like the true professional that I am.
There’s much to talk about this morning, but nothing is as exciting as seeing the total and complete destruction of Bitcoin. Granted, I have some money wrapped up in SHITCOINS, but it’s hardly enough to upset me for more than a minute or two. The overarching theme here is avocados rolling on the floor and the hipsters who were previously holding them tripping and breaking their necks.
BTC is at $8,870 -9% and ETH is at $685 -9%.
Meanwhile, Dow futures are +150 and Nasdaq +50 on blowout payroll numbers.
February Nonfarm Payrolls 313K vs 210K Briefing.com consensus
Those numbers just caused a massive spike in futures, which should lay waste to my SQQQ position.
What’s especially noteworthy about the jobs gains is they were matched with lower than expected hourly wage gains, which is less inflationary than expected — all super bullish. It’s both awesome and amazing and we have no one else but President Trump to thank for it.

It what will go down as the most significant pivot in foreign relations history, President Trump has pivoted from completely destroying the Korean Peninsula to holding peace talks in May with N. Korea’s Kim Jong Un. The ramifications of these meetings cannot be minimized and if you’re on the left, you’re hoping Mueller can stop Trump by May or Kim Jong Un kidnaps the President and hits California with 100 atomic bombs.
Speaking from the White House, South Korea’s National Security Office head Chung Eui-yon described the contents of the letter saying the North’s leader “expressed eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible.”
“Kim pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests. He understands that the routine joint military exercises in the Republic of Korea and the United States must continue,” Chung added.
“President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet him to achieve permanent denuclearization.”
Following Chung’s statement, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed Trump’s acceptance of the meeting.
“We look forward to the denuclearization of North Korea. In the meantime, all sanctions and maximum pressure must remain,” Sanders said in a statement.
The announcement of the invitation comes hours after South Korean envoys met with U.S. officials at the White House to discuss an unprecedented meeting with Kim Jong Un.
Chung and National Intelligence Service chief Suh Hoon met with U.S. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats and officials from the U.S. Treasury.
Neocon scum will view this as weakness from Trump — since having discussions isn’t war and if the country isn’t waging war — those cocksucking bloodsucking filthy animals aren’t content. In other words, Bill Kristol and John Bolton are likely crying inside of their wine glasses tonight — reminiscing of the better days when America’s youth were being massacred inside of unarmored humvees inside Iraq.
Futures are +65 on the news and I’ll be more than happy to shed a few shekels in exchange for peace and prosperity.
UPDATE: Haters gonna hate.
"There is no way that President Trump can be ready, by May, to have a high stakes negotiation on denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula, it's just impossible. … You can't wing it." – Samantha Vinograd reacts to Trump agreeing to meet with Kim Jong Un https://t.co/WevJzRPMe2pic.twitter.com/rEnU5jOnqn
What a disappointment. Both Canada and Mexico will be granted mercy by his majesty the King, Blanald Drumpf.
The Latest: Sources say President Trump's tariffs on steel and aluminum imports will take effect in 15 days, with Canada and Mexico indefinitely excluded from the duties. https://t.co/oQBn3tRYmk
On news of these carve outs — stocks recovered earlier losses. God willing there will be news of even MOAR tariffs soon, in order to ‘even the playing field’ and bring jobbies back to the rusted belt of America. It would be good to see flyover country stop being so pathetic. Quite frankly, I am bored of coastal faggots having all the fun. It would be a nice thing to see corn cobbed fuckers from Ohio with some money and off the public dole.
Get those fuckers out of the house and into their local factory! Go make me a nice piece of steel — fucker.
My quant strategy closed higher by 0.65%. In my tactical account, my top pick is SQQQ.
You’ve been programmed since young to revere MUH free trade — because your Lords said it was good for you. As you toil away trying to make ends meet, they target you every second of the day with consumerist propaganda shit — fleecing every cent of your savings. Heck, I know people who make $500,000 per year and are flat broke.
As you sit there cuck’d out with framed portraits of President Clinton and Reagan in your study, America is getting fucked absolutely, by China, in absolute terms.
Here’s Musk exposing the fuckery of the globalist version of free trade — which is to produce cheap shit overseas and import them back here for nothing in order to steal from your future.
American jobs? Fuck off.
We raised this with the prior administration and nothing happened. Just want a fair outcome, ideally where tariffs/rules are equally moderate. Nothing more. Hope this does not seem unreasonable.
I sold out of my oils and even CLF — most at a loss. I don’t give a shit where my basis is on the stocks, only the last print. By doing this, I isolated my tactical account in a few biotech, one steel, an LED play on roids, and of course SHORT Nasdaq via SQQQ.
Given the recent bounce in markets, coupled with the collapse of Bitcoin and spike in the dollar, I cannot envision a scenario where this market doesn’t pull back. I’m talking scorched earth motherfucker. IT WILL MASSACRE YOU, if you’re not careful.
Based upon my long and storied history trading the market, I’d say there is a zero percent chance of me being wrong now.
What sort of fucking twilight zone episode am I living through? It’s as if I was sucked into the television and am now living in a place of absurdities, a clown house built atop of mountain of other clown houses.
Here’s President Trump literally saying goodbye to the globalist Gary Cohn.
You’d think Trump would’ve saved himself the trouble by not hiring Cohn in the first place, given his long and storied track record of being a, umm, fucking globalist.
I’m hedging now — because markets are terrific and everything is wonderful. Fly can’t have good things for an extended period of time — he must ruin them with his nihilism. As such, I’ve purchased a spot of SQQQ here, which will likely be held for a few days.
The theory: wait and see if these gains hold or if they were merely an oversold reaction and will soon succumb to the pressures of XIV investments gone astray and Trumpism on steroids.
Morning lads, my fucking dogs are running about the house driving me nuts right now — barking and growling, chasing each other like wild animals. The snow was about 8 inches thick last night and I nearly died shoveling all that snow last night — but I survived and here I am now to give you the news of the day.
Cigna bought Express Scripts for $67 billion and now they intend to fuck you hard with drug prices. Markets are sharply higher because the nationalists are back in charge of the White House — making America great again, creating trade wars and shit — the likes we’ve never seen since Bush the Idiot was in power.
Expect everything to melt the fuck up today, as it’s finally revealed that Gary Cohn was in fact the cuck in the White House holding back Agent Orange from achieving true greatness.
War with France when?
ISIS who?
This just in regarding the tariffs. Some believe Mexico and Canada will get exemptions — but that would be a mistake. If you want to do business in this country — you’ve got to pay the fucking toll.
President Trump will hold a meeting at the White House today at 3:30 ET to discuss tariffs. Last Week, President Trump said there will be a 10% tariff on aluminum and a 25% tariff on steel. President Trump has been getting push back from his own party regarding this plan as 100 House Republicans sent the President a letter urging him to change course.
What to watch for during today’s meeting:
1) If President Trump reaffirms the tariff percentages that he outlined last week. The higher the numbers, the more positive it will be for steel and aluminum sectors.
2) If President Trump outlines exemptions or carveouts for Canada and Mexico. In yesterday’s White House press briefing, Sarah Sanders said there will be potential carveouts for Mexico and Canada based on national security. (Canada accounts for 16% of steel imports and 41% of aluminum imports). CNBC reported that President Trump is considering a 30-day exemption for Canada and Mexico, which would be connected to NAFTA negotiations.
This is also news. Dear god.
Net Element +31% after adding Jon Najarian to its Board
All jokes aside, markets might run out of steam here today — so be careful with your new purchases — for they might brain you.
Follow the timeline. Gary Cohn is great for Goldman and Gary Cohn — but literally has zero effect on the fate of American commerce and the stock market. Any political based sell off should be bought with both hands and has been hitherto.
OMG tariffs. OMG govt shutdown. OMG Cohn is gone. OMG Trump won the election. OMG no bailouts for banksters. OMG sovereign debt crisis. OMG China capital flight. OMG tape tantrum. OMG jobs. FUCK YOURSELVES pic.twitter.com/MDgg06dTAD
