It what will go down as the most significant pivot in foreign relations history, President Trump has pivoted from completely destroying the Korean Peninsula to holding peace talks in May with N. Korea’s Kim Jong Un. The ramifications of these meetings cannot be minimized and if you’re on the left, you’re hoping Mueller can stop Trump by May or Kim Jong Un kidnaps the President and hits California with 100 atomic bombs.
Speaking from the White House, South Korea’s National Security Office head Chung Eui-yon described the contents of the letter saying the North’s leader “expressed eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible.”
“Kim pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests. He understands that the routine joint military exercises in the Republic of Korea and the United States must continue,” Chung added.
“President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet him to achieve permanent denuclearization.”
Following Chung’s statement, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed Trump’s acceptance of the meeting.
“We look forward to the denuclearization of North Korea. In the meantime, all sanctions and maximum pressure must remain,” Sanders said in a statement.
The announcement of the invitation comes hours after South Korean envoys met with U.S. officials at the White House to discuss an unprecedented meeting with Kim Jong Un.
Chung and National Intelligence Service chief Suh Hoon met with U.S. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats and officials from the U.S. Treasury.
Neocon scum will view this as weakness from Trump — since having discussions isn’t war and if the country isn’t waging war — those cocksucking bloodsucking filthy animals aren’t content. In other words, Bill Kristol and John Bolton are likely crying inside of their wine glasses tonight — reminiscing of the better days when America’s youth were being massacred inside of unarmored humvees inside Iraq.
Futures are +65 on the news and I’ll be more than happy to shed a few shekels in exchange for peace and prosperity.
UPDATE: Haters gonna hate.
