So are you saying that this rally (and the oil action) was SO strong that it shifted your thinking from “bear-market rally follwed by January decline” to “next stop, ATH”?
You must be trained in the sciences …or in some field where precision in verbal/numerical formulation is worshiped and relatively stable physical laws rule. These restrictions do no apply here.
Veganism and asceticism was months ago. Tolerance and freedom of speech was days ago. “Bear market” was hours ago. Bull market and censorship is now. Fly believes that life is too short to live it as only one person …sometimes a day is too short.
Langauge precision may not be his thing, but at least another read of his latest post got me my answer:

The bottom line is that Fly doesn’t know what’s going on. He will post pics of statues with endowed hung phallus by blowing hot air about his Time Machine. Little did you know that his own phallus was chopped by half in the previous months with his wrong calls.
I call it as I see it – and Fly is a profesional.
You note his bad calls (I do, too, often before they come to fruition), but more important is his reaction: cut losses and bail. Discipline is the most underrated trait of good traders.
Just look at his posts today: they are scattered with losses that were thrown away and forgotten liked used Kleenexes.
Now follwing his advice on long term investing is a different story, because that advice is only good until the next post.
Fly puts himself out there everyday. Unlike most he owns his bad calls. Why people hate on someone for putting themselves out there like that is beyond me. We all make bad calls.
When did Dr Fly move into long term investment? This blog would probably be dead by then. This blog is for pure entertainment value. Any person who follows any Internet investment advice w/o doing their DD deserves to get their phallus chopped by the Time Machine Guilotine. Fly is probably just some busboy who lives at his mom basement and rats cup ramen all day while trying to make it to the big league with this blog. Buying GDX and WPM here and dgaf about Dr Fly.

my thoughts are we rally into new year. that being said, i sold my tqqq and udow into the close. had to. riding xom, hd, amzn, axp and ba at least another day.
I think Chuck is seriously clueless about politics because I think even now he is still supporting the retarded president. Maybe he’s related to him or something. I can’t think why else anyone would defend him. But Chuck did tell us we’d rally soon. So I give him credit for a great call.
