I don’t know a single person who owns a Sodastream device. Maybe it’s huge in Israel or some dark corner in S. America. But this shit is entirely pointless and Pepsi has literally just tossed $3.2b into the sewer.

Who the fuck is drinking soda anyway? Haven’t we, as a civilization, decided that soda is absolute shit? The Victorian days of sarsaparilla being a desirable beverage is long gone. If anything, this acquisition should give shareholders of FIZZ an absolute woody, absolutely. They actually sell beverages that are healthy and people like.

Yeah, I’ve got one. Seems it’s quite popular here in Australia. I only use it to make soda water with filtered water. No flavors or anything like that. Rather than dragging loads of carbonated water bottles from the supermarket…. Finally registered just to let you know 🙂 Love your writing!
Actually completely reasonable and practical reason to own one.
The company works like the Kodak model. The machines are cheap but using one commits you to buying the cartridges. They say one cartridge makes 60 litres, but that is very optimistic.
We have one and we drink 2 glasses each at supper. It seems like we’re replacing the cartridge ($20.CAD) constantly.
Several of my relatives and friends own and use them regularly, but nobody I know bothers with the flavours.
Those august call owners are going to jump out a window because they expired worthless on Friday…
