Bitcoin Has Blasted Off Again; Fly Gets a New Dog

BTC is above 11k this evening, in comfortable evening trade. I just got back from a dog adoption center, taking in my second dog. This one is a little rough around the edges and wants to eat my domesticated dog. Right now I am trying to acclimate the new dog to the house. We gave it a warm bath and fed it some food — but she’s been through a lot and is extremely malnourished and isn’t very sociable with members of her own species.

If any of you dog lovers have some quick advice, let er rip.

The fact that cryptos have lifted off again, now above $515m in market cap, I feel confident, once again, in a bruising rally when shares open up for trade.

At any rate, the snow is starting to come down pretty hard here and I have my hands full at the moment.

Any of you miscreants see Black Panther today? From what I gather, it is the best movie to have ever hit the silver screens.

Take both dogs for a walk together. A long walk. Exert leadership. Walk until they are exhausted.

Make sure they eat from the same bowl, thats the best way for dogs to bond. Also, show them your shitcoin portfolio so they can laugh at your stupidity.

Hooray for you adopting a dog! Tremendous lesson for the children. Congratulations for having a family of love that takes in the lost and maltreated.

My brother adopted a dog and came to find out it had a bullet hole under it’s chin. They think the bullet is still in there. Great dog too, very peaceful and loving.

BTC blast offs are bullshit. No fundamentals, demand/supply and that kinda nuances. Not only is btc driven by wash trades, it’s also propped up via tether scam.

oh, and a dog has no business staying inside the house, let alone two of them – shitting on the carpet, chewing shoes, pissing in the living room, jumping on furniture, humping the wife’s leg, eating off the table, licking kids’s asses, messing up the house with hair, stepping into other dog’s shit and bringing it into the house, rolling in shit outside and then cleaning itself off on top of just washed clean bedsheets and all that. A good dog has to stay outside and guard the perimeter – ripping throats off if necessary.

At least his family pet doesn’t kill his small children for sport. You have to give him that…

Warm tones and lots of treats. A little love and that dog will be a rockstar. Or, eat your fucking face off.

Yeah, It’s weird how primitive people live. I never understood that. Probably related to the whole gender/species confusion thingee going on.

Futures will be open for the Sunday night trade (prior to Presidents Day extra Washington) so we should get a glimpse then. Regular trading not open until Tuesday for those not paying attention.

From my experience (adopted a 3yo dog that was a nervous mess, but sounds a little similar to your scenario). Use a leash a good bit of the time (even indoors), disciplining verbally, letting the dog know your rules and what is allowable behavior. One dog in a crate, one outside the crate so they can get to know each other without “eating” one another.

It takes a little time, but can be done. Our last adoption dog turned into a great little house dog. Had her about 8 years now.

Watch as many episodes of “Dog Whisperer” with Cesar Milan as you can and you will see how to properly train a dog in the situation you find yourself in.

I saw Black Panther a couple of days ago and I would give it a thumbs up but definitely not the best film ever. Not even close.

It’s 5% below 11k now. Between shorting the dead lows and covering at the highs, and with picks like riot and xiv, you are so much behind the fucking curve and behind in thinking that it’s pathetic. And your fucking penny stocks are the worst. How did SN do during the oil rally? Find a future in literature.

Yeah, because everyone knew XIV would go from $100 to zero overnight, in spite of the actual directional bet of the market being 100% correct. Also, everyone knew CNBC would air a hit piece on RIOT.

I sold SN weeks ago. For your trolling, you’re banned.

You could be dealing with the basics until the little Dude is healthy and feels safe. Give him his own place and let him socialize at his own pace. Will take time but worth it.

Well done, great lesson for the children.

    FLY…
Try this part of rahagars advise (above)…..Use a leash a good bit of the time (even indoors), disciplining verbally, letting the dog know your rules and what is allowable behavior.

The dogs will gradually get to know each other.

IF all else fails…you might consider a good veterinarians advise.

a cage or kennel is nice to have for a dog for them to sleep in. Don’t lock them in it, just let them use it as an alcove of sorts with the door left open. They will come to look at it as a safe spot.

We did that after crate training as a puppy was done, worked well. We could say “go to your room” and she would run in her crate on command. But she would also just hang out in there when she wanted some solitude.

America’s dog culture smh. If aliens observed us, they would think dogs were the superior beings the way humans dutifully pickup their shit and wait on them hand and foot.

Our dog is a huge source of joy. Feel free to wallow in misery and loneliness because you don’t want to lower yourself to picking up some poop or hiring someone to do it. I’m sure you probably think babies should change their own diapers too.

Have not seen Black Panther yet but find it amusing that a “black panther” could be made into a protagonist superhero. Quite the double standard there.

I think you’ve already done this, but make sure the new dog is ok to be with your present dog with respect to ailments such as heartworm that you are treating. Even if the new dog has to be isolated, no big deal, just do it. The open door cage with a towel on top and a bed inside is a winner.

Fly, Don’t give up on her. Even if she has permanent psychological damage from what happened before, her new life with your family is a blessing for her.

I have four cats, all former strays or near-ferals. Some carry mental issues still, but are affectionate in their own way. The have turned into the most loving and wonderful friends. Hard to comprehend someone may have abandoned them before they came to me.

Get her a small kennel, sometimes referred to as doggie crate. That will be her personal safe place to go to while she gets comfortable in her new surroundings.
