Olde man Buffett out this afternoon talking extremely greasy about cryptos, saying he’d buy 5 year puts in all of the cryptos. Then in the very next sentence admitted to knowing nothing about them.
In other words, Buffett had so many flavors to choose from, yet he chose salt.
Juxtapose this against a private crypto chat room that I was just in; and I admit that the people trading cryptos are fucking animals, but the fervor is real. I haven’t the slightest clue when this will end, but for the sake of making an investment in a group of cryptos I am interested in, I hope it ends soon and washes them out CLEAN.
I am focused on storage, an industry this private chat room didn’t like — which makes it all the more interested. On a whole, they’re mostly trading out of emotion, just like many of you — and do little to no research, instead relying on gut instincts and banal data points. It’s humorous actually, in an end of the world as we know it sort of way.
