Ethereum Thousand Dollar Rolling, Oil, Futures, Inexorably Higher

I’ve come across some truly great ideas in my crypto space investigations. Right now the halo of uncertainty shrouds the reality, so all that is important are themes. One of the themes that I feel might result in some further gains in crypto land is in storage, leasing out personal PCs and collocating storage capacity in a way that will become ruinous for legacy players. Amazon, naturally, will find a away around this — but aren’t immune to these threats.

There are 4 coins I think are worth further investigation: Siacoin (SC), MaidSafeCoin (MAID), Enigma (END), and Storj (STORJ). Good luck trying to buy them, however — for it is virtually impossible if you don’t already have a shitcoin exchange account open now. Since this is a worldwide phenomenon, exchanges have stopped accepting new accounts — due to the fucktitude of the frenzy now. Normally I’d say this brand of fervor is a good sign to sell; but this time, of course, is different.

Oil is edge lording higher, approaching $62, and Dow futures are +70. This is it lads — the time of your lives and you’re sitting there — dick in hand — watching lesser men have all the fun.

If you’re tentative, go with a basket of large cap tech — or you could join the top hatted gents in Exodus and seek out our live trading room — The Pelican Room — and watch everyone grow.

Oh, by the way, ETH bolted past $1,000 and is now smooth sailing towards $1,200 — all in a day’s work.

Feels inevitable that the Fed will lose control of the bond market, and soon. Bought a rental property Nov ’16. Zillows est the value’s increased by 70K in a little more than a year. CRB index has broken out and Semi retarded folk are making the easiest money the world’s ever seen in the crypto space. All the while the 10 yr yield has taken the most orderly stroll higher. There’s likely an oh shit moment coming on the inflation front.

This is all great if you are willing to plunk money into exchanges with horrible reviews. Then once you work your mind around that risk comes the risk of getting your capital back out. Finding a legit arena to execute is currently a real problem.

Would love to read comments from others on how they are executing with a moderate amount of comfort.

Poloniex / Kraken / Crytopia / Coinbase if you can get in. Poloniex is missing out on zclassic, but crytopia has it. Also coinexcahnge.io but it might be dicey.

Thank you. The reviews I’ve read on all of these are negative enough to cause concern that getting money is no guarantee. This is a huge stumbling block for the industry.
I love the idea of decentralization, web 3.0, new $ opportunity, but at least there is some level of guarantee on deposits with current banking structure. Hence, I think best bet is buying Etherium and holding based on its “proof of stake”. You try to fuck the system, you lose all your money.

I went with Coinbase, was happy to make a profit. Did not like having my cash sit there. Brought it back home.
Since there is no SPIC, no FDIC, and no public balance sheet for any of these exchanges, I sleep better with 100% invested and margined or optioned up at Charles Schwab, Fidelity, a bank brokerage or whoever than I do with 1% of capital at Coinbase.

Fascinating – crypto-exchanges have stopped accepting new accounts. No wonder this basement billionaire doesn’t have anybody to trade shitcoins with:

Cryptopia has a shitty reputation but I’ve had no issues with it.

I opened a second Bittrex account soon after my first, I don’t recall why. Maybe I wanted to see the platform and I didn’t have my login info handy.

I hear people are selling accounts. Anyone know how much people are paying for Bittrex accounts?

Crypto is awesome. Before one could get in on companies tech / other at lower prices and get astounding returns. Msft, dell, amzn etc. Now all these companies only offer on secondary exchanges and by the time you can get it it is way overpriced because big money already valued them Uber fb/ snap/ etc. Now you can get back in on the action without it being tainted by the big 4. Plus these guys arent selling out. I can only think of one conpany nflx that has offered these types of returns in the last 10 years.

What does this mean? ” Now you can get back in on the action without it being tainted by the big 4. Plus these guys arent selling out.” Who are the big four you speak of. Big four coins or exchanges?

Wow. This time is NOT different. We must be reaching end state of the crypto bubble when Fly starts pumping it. Fly, you are now the modern equivalent of the shoe shine boy in the 20s…

Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds

This is going to be an awesome bubble to watch pop. From the sidelines.

I don’t have any doubt the warning was sent deliberately.

    This from another forum….

    Default
I work at a Emergency Operations Center (OHSEP) in St. Charles Parish LA. The only 24hr EOC in the state. We monitor over 20 chemical plants/refineries, 4 major railways, 2 interstates, 2 major state highways, the Mississippi River, airspace for NOLA International Airport, USCG inclusion zones, 1 nuclear power plant, 3 fuel power plants, 2 industrial/medical radiological sources, 20 or so additional hazmat sites, EMS, FD, LEO, LAGOHSEP, LANG and of course all Parish Government. Top it off with your standard civil defense responsibilities.
We have the ability to sound Parish wide sirens, override cable feeds, tag cell phone towers, call every land line, emails, text messages all with a prerecorded or live message. While I can send ANY message to ALL of those sources well under 5mins, its incredibly hard to send something you don’t want to. And in the event you got the message wrong, it takes the same amount of time to send it again with a correction or termination. There is no way I can send ANY message without specifically wanting to. There is no single button to push or screen to click by accident.

When we test the systems, weekly for most sources, monthly for others, the templates/pre-saved messages we use are clearly marked TEST or DRILL. Emergency messages aren’t even accessible from the drill/test area of the programs.

I find it extremely unlikely that they use a system in Hawaii that much different than what we use here in LA (considering FEMA/DHS has streamed line the programs used). That being said, its hard to send out a message, even a template, that you don’t specifically want to send. We also don’t do any weekly/monthly test or drills at shift change. That’s simply bad practice.

Ill also add, even with civil service protection, if I sent out a terribly wrong message and it took me 38mins to terminate it, I would be unemployed as fast as the printer can spit out the papers.

Info Id like to know: What program was used (only text message?), and at what level of government was the message sourced, local or state.”
