In response to Speaker Bercow’s absurd comments and subsequent ban from addressing the British parliament, essentially calling the President of the United States a racist and a sexist, Nigel Farage laid into him — pointing out his hypocrisy for having the N. Koreans to his apartment for a spot of afternoon tea and crumpets.
Amusingly, Bercow would rather entertain a brutal authoritarian regime, one who threatens its neighbors with war on a weekly basis, instead of the leader of his countries most important ally. It’s important to note that Bercow was an ardent opponent to BREXIT, so fomenting strife with the United States and hurting his own country, ahead of crafting trade deals, might be something this twisted little hobgoblin cuckold wants. Nevertheless, there has been significant pushback against his ignoble behavior, with Nigel Farage’s comments being the most noteworthy.
We all know $BBRY to be a stupid company who lost the phone wars to $AAPL, ceding the dominant position in mobile by stubbornly sticking to its retarded keyboard phone. But in recent years the company has been switching its core focus away from hardware and to its very good secure software technology.
Today they announced their messaging technology will open up to 3rd party developers — competing with the likes of $TWLO.
Software sales are expected to increase by nearly 30% this year — not including the business they intend to steal from TWLO.

BlackBerry Ltd. is opening up some of its secure messaging and file sharing technology for developers to use in building apps, creating a new revenue stream for the company as it works to boost sales.
The Waterloo, Ontario-based company said the software development kit it’s releasing this month will include tools for building chat apps, video and voice calling, secure file sharing and sending out push notifications to mobile phones. BlackBerry joins a crew of companies already offering similar services including Twilio Inc., Bandwidth.com Inc., Nexmo Inc. and Plivo.
The key differentiator for BlackBerry though, will be its reputation for security, Chief Operating Officer Marty Beard said on a call. “We don’t think current providers are meeting the needs of the enterprise,” he said. “The market needs this.”
The move is a textbook example of Chief Executive Officer John Chen’s strategy of taking the company’s existing technology and finding new ways to monetize it. Instead of the closed, device-focused BlackBerry that Chen inherited three years ago, the company now licenses its software and gives permission to other companies to make phones with the BlackBerry brand.
Beard declined to comment on how much revenue the company was expecting to generate from this initiative, but said it would “add to growth.” It will be sold on a subscription basis to app developers and internet service providers.
Device revenue now accounts for less than half of BlackBerry’s profits and is falling, but sales of software that Chen acquired and built out in recent years is picking up the slack. The company expects software revenue to be $640 million in the fiscal year ending March, compared with $494 million in the previous year, Chen said in December.
Ultimately, TWLO is a Fred Wilson company and destined to fail. Although BBRY is a Canadian based company run by leaves, I believe they will make some headway into the messaging business — due to brand recognition. People are into retro now and love sentimentality. It’s very likely that TWLO is about to suffer a significant drawdown due to this new, formidable, competitor.
Shares of TWLO are down a smidge, hardly the type of trading action of a worried shareholder base. BBRY’s stock is exactly flat over the past year — marking time as the business transitions.
Get ready to receive your vouchers, so that you could remove your children from their horrible public schools and send them to a well run private institution.
Mike Pence just broke a 50-50 tie in the Senate, casting his own vote as the tiebreaker.
In short, this is why the left didn’t want Devos in and desperately fought her confirmation.
Devos:
“If confirmed, I will be a strong advocate for great public schools,” she says. “But, if a school is troubled, or unsafe, or not a good fit for a child – perhaps they have a special need that is going unmet — we should support a parent’s right to enroll their child in a high quality alternative.”
“It’s really pretty simple,” she says in the opening remarks, which the Trump transition team provided to news organizations.
In other words, she’s going to permit you to remove your children from failing schools, who place indoctrination ahead of education, and instead send them to private schools. The Department of Education is where the left plots their future, brainwashing the children with identity politics. Giving parents the option to remove their children from the matrix is a grave and unimaginable threat to their future.
He said he’d ‘make America great again’ by focusing on infrastructure, reducing taxes, regulations and illegal immigration. He discussed whimsical projects, such as new airports and a southern border wall — to be paid for by Mexico. He promised lower drug prices and better healthcare insurance, a stronger military and making our educators accountable by permitting parents to use vouchers for private schools.
The results in the market have been exactly what one would expect.
Year to date, the top performing industries are aluminum (+35%), nuclear (+31%), gold (+27%) and copper (+18%). Clearly, the market is pricing in an infrastructure boom.
Over the past three months, the financials were one of the leading sectors, higher by 30%, accompanying oil and gas drillers, insurance and steel.
On the downside, department stores (-19%), home furnishing (-11%) and textiles (-10%) are key standouts — obviously hurt by the specter of a harsh border tax on goods entering the country.
All in all, I’d expect more of the same, with a possible respite in healthcare names — since they’ve already bee beaten to a pulp. As long as the Trump agenda continues, unabated, investors should anticipate highest returns in areas that encapsulate heavy construction, reduction of regulations, and purveyors of materials.
Sadly, Twitter isn’t a safe place for leftist morons to RT and like one another’s drivel with impunity anymore. The tech community of catamites and autistic screechers have been having fits over the overwhelming flood of pro-Trump ‘right wingers’ — which has led to a lot of acrimonious debate on the beleaguered social media platform. As such, Jack Dorsey has been unable to sell the piece of shit — because of the stigma associated with the platform as being a denizen of haters and haranguers.
Yo @jack I support banning @realDonaldTrump take the brand back now and save your shareholders
The company is launching technology to fight abusive accounts and suppress the ‘low-quality’ ones. No word on what qualifies an account to be deemed ‘low quality.’ However, my best guess, it will not entail Leslie Jones — who has been nothing but gracious since utilizing the platform.

The social media platform said Tuesday it will stop so-called trolls from creating new abusive accounts and will collapse “low-quality” and potentially abusive tweets from feeds and searches.
That means Twitter will try to identify people who have been permanently suspended and block them from creating new accounts. The “safe search” will remove sensitive content and blocked and muted accounts from search results. Tweets that Twitter deems “potentially abusive” would need to be specifically sought out.
The changes come amid widespread criticism of Twitter, which BuzzFeed News called “honeypot” for harassment. BuzzFeed’s reporting revealed that Twitter staff struggled to balance the promotion of free speech while curbing bullying.
How ironic that Buzzfeed should be leading the fight to defeat trolls, isn’t it? Away with bullying!
@Jack is gonna make Twitter safe again…for snowflakes.
Shares of $TWTR are spiking this morning. The reason is unclear, other than the obvious technical reasons. But there is extreme value in the platform, as a disseminator of news and information.
If an authoritarian regime could seize the company, or maybe even a globalist shill organization like the UN or OECD, that would be ideal.
The platform could then be used as a honeypot to trap right wingers into revealing their desire for freedom. Proper enforcement agencies would then apprehend said people and ship them off to a gulag for reeducation and/or extermination.
Once $FB, $GOOGL, $MSFT and $TWTR corral the majority of human beings into their social ghettos, then the next phase of social engineering could take place.
Julian Emanuel means absolutely nothing to me. His words are like a pebble bouncing off a hardened mountain — whose exterior is the result of thousands of years of glacial movements and volcanic eruptions — primordial ongoings if I might be so bold.
He’s obviously without cocaine and needlessly pedantic with his obsequious attacks upon the markets. If I was an analyst at UBS, getting paid for being wrong, I’d do so in non-gay flamboyantly absurd fashion. If bearish, I’d costume myself to look and appear to be ghoulish — vampire-like clad with a ghostly pallor — draped in a black-black cape and bespoke leather gloves. I’d declare the market to be dead, whilst glaring with dead eyes into the lens of the camera, into a transfixed audience whose only whim or idle thought in the back of their subconscious was ‘who the fuck is this man and why is he here to damage me?’
My price target for the S&P would be zero, not a penny more. I’d paint a very vivid picture of nuclear submarines refueling off the coast of Minsk (obviously a landlocked city to those not of the idiot genre) en route directly to Washington DC — where the Russian fleet would declare its intentions to obliterate the White House from the map — all with one fell swoop — tactical nuclear detonations reverberating around the nation like they were jumping jacks on the 4th of July.
I’d declare ‘the bust of Martin Luther King would be removed from the White House, permanently, as well as all living forms of life withing a 100-mile radius of Mike Pence’s study.’
Instead, we get Mr. Emanuel, a man with the likeness of a person I once lent money and never received any repayment or form of retribution. He’s calling for a flaccid and entirely uneventful 5-10%, boring, garden variety, pullback, at which point he declared would represent a magnanimous buying opportunity.
To hell with that advice.
Be long and strong gents. The winds are decidedly westerly and there’s nothing that can ever stop the markets from obtaining peak velocity, showering all participants with gratuitous amounts of superfluous and capricious amounts of gains — to be spent on illegal narcotics and vast quantities of rare spirits and wines to be absorbed by the protein of known to be near extinct and very expensive animals.
We will eat all of the panda bears — and there’s nothing you or any of your stupid friends can do about it.
Cramer has finally given up on the retail landscape, following $EL warning that their department business was woefully impaired. Then he dove into idle speculation about $M being an acquisition target for its real estate holdings. Hmm, where have I heard this thesis laid bare before? Perhaps over at olde K-mart?
Trump’s border tax is bound to wreak a new and fresh havoc on retail too, Cramer decried — since most of them import their crap from overseas.
The core issue with these retailers is they overbuilt. Think about it. In every strip mall, in every small town in America, lies a slew of stores. Each town has a shopping mall, brimming with desperate retailers desperate for your dollars. With the advent of Amazon, coupled with a younger generation of people who are happy owning a few bedraggled t-shirts to comprise their wardrobe, the retailers have fallen victim to the oldest and most cardinal sin of oversupplying a market that isn’t growing all that much.
Courtesy of Exodus, here are the biggest losers in retail over the past year.
Some believe at least a third of US based malls will close, eventually.
“On an apples-to-apples basis, we have twice as much per-capita retail space as any other place in the world,” Kniffen said. “So, yes, we are the most over-stored place in the world.”
The U.S. has an estimated 48 square feet of retail space per citizen—a footprint that’s set to decline “pretty fast,” Kniffen said.
In time, this oversupplied market will recede — casting out the weaker companies — paving the way for a much healthier landscape. But first, there needs to be a culling, a tightening of credit, otherwise the retail industry will continue to plod along in a most heinous manner.
Starting today, Facebook, in conjunction with Google, will be blocking unsavory news from their platforms in France — thanks to the very generous and progressive assistance of 8 liberal news agencies — including the far left Le Monde. Having learned his lesson during the US elections, CEO Mark Zuckerberg wants to ensure the people of France only get to see the right news and information — generously shielding them from fake news and right wing disinformation campaigns — like global warming is a hoax.
Effective immediately, users will get to mark news articles they deem to be fake. Partners will pass judgment upon them and also get to tag them with an icon — all for the benefit of the 24 million idiot users in France who are, seemingly, unable to decipher the news themselves.
GENEROSITY WITHOUT BOUNDARIES.
Similar projects are being launched in Germany and the United States — fettering out hoaxes and fake news — with the help of ultra left wing Snopes, ABC News and Associated Press.
It’s ‘their’ platform and can do with it as they like. If you do not like it, don’t use the platform.
What’s with these people? When will they learn they can’t win?
Bercow is known in Britain as a ‘former right winger’ who finally found his soul and transformed into a social liberal — becoming part of the system of globalist authoritarian progressives — who also opposed BREXIT. In other words, he sold his soul to the devil, becoming a cuckold in the process.
Now he’s vying to ban Donald Trump from addressing parliament during his trip to the UK next month — on the premise of being a filthy racist, sexist bastard of a man.
This all stems from Trump’s decision to temporarily ban immigration from 7 muslim countries, until his administration is able to formulate a more effective way of vetting people coming into the country — something his predecessor failed to do. Because of this, Leader Bercow accused Trump of being both a racist and a sexist and doesn’t want to give him the ‘privilege’ of addressing the British parliament.
“Before the imposition of the migrant ban I would myself have been strongly opposed to an address by President Trump in Westminster Hall; after the imposition of the migrant ban by President Trump I’m even more strongly opposed,” Bercow told lawmakers. “I feel very strongly our opposition to racism and to sexism and our support for equality before the law and an independent judiciary are hugely important considerations in the House of Commons.”
“An address by a foreign leader to both houses of Parliament is not an automatic right, it is an earned honor,” Bercow said. “There are many precedents for state visits to take place to our country that do not include an address to both houses of Parliament.”
Bercow’s announcement was greeted with cheers and — rare in the House of Commons — applause from the opposition benches. A motion arguing that Trump shouldn’t be invited to speak has been signed by 163 out of Parliament’s 650 members.
Bercow made clear he wasn’t going to comment on the merits of inviting Trump to the U.K., something that will be getting its own debate in Parliament on Feb. 20. “We value our relationship with the U.S.” he said. “If a state visit takes place, that is way beyond and above the pay grade of the Speaker.”
