Morning Poppers (You Had It Coming Edition)

Morning mates,

It sure does look grim out there today, eh? Ah, don’t worry — you bought BTC at 5 cents and have riches that stretch beyond the imagination. What this market needs is a good cleaning — sort of like a colon cleanser, but only for people. Right now, there are a lot of bad people in the market. All of these bad people are making Wall Street ugly and a truly disgusting place to hang out. After the coming extermination and the market is cleansed of these cretins, Wall Street will be great again — everyone will be happy and gay — the world as we know it better.

Nasdaq futures are -33. Over in Europe, a purge is underway, led lower by the MIB, off by 1.35%. The DAX is down 1.1% and the God damned Russians are off by 1.4%. Need I remind you, I am short the Russians via RUSS?

WTI is down 1% and the VIX is screaming higher by 11%.

All of the monies are fleeing stocks and into BTC, which is higher by ~500 to above $7,000 again, or +7%. What in the actual fuck?

Here are some other headlines to start your ridiculous day.

Baidu.com confirms that this year’s Singles’ Day advertising revenue +120% Y/Y
Target beats by $0.05, reports revs in-line; guides Q4 EPS towards the low end of expectations with comps +0-2%
Lam Research target raised to $225 at RBC Capital Mkts — Steps up capital returns
YY upgraded to Buy from Hold at Jefferies
Snap downgraded to Mkt Perform from Mkt Outperform at JMP Securities

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

It’s strange to see the Euro as a safe haven now. What do you think about the USD in this environment?

All is well. The riggers are just rocking the boat a bit to make it look less rigged. No worries. Buy the dip. It’s going back up. The PPT will take care of it. For now.

Asset managers have been net sellers since the end of September. They were net long during that whole rally. Maybe it’s time to stock up on oats and hide in the gold mines.

Maybe. But not until the FED nationalizes most of the economy. Like BOJ. They are almost there.

In fact, in a circular vicious cycle, the Bank of Japan’s purchases have helped assets managed by ETFs surge almost 10-fold since the end of 2010 to 25 trillion yen ($230 billion)…., the central bank now owns three quarters of such funds by market value…

ETFs are about 5-10% of the Japanese market, which tampers the BOJ effect somewhat. For investors, it doesn’t matter how much the BOJ owns (yet). What really matters is that any BOJ decison affecting future purchases – or worse – future sales.

Just like drug addicts: initially the drug/stimulus creates euphoria, but soon the mind is used to it and the drug is just needed to maintain an even keel. Ever seen what happens to druggies when you cut them off from their drugs?

Yeah, it’s time for a correction. Not. Sure if we’ll get a 5%-6% slide, as the dip buyers will frontrun 2438-2475 SPX support area.

SQ up this morning on news that they are allowing users to trade bitcoin through their Cash app. Don’t fight the Fed, the tape, or the ‘cryptofags’.

I am buying more into this dip. Nov and Dec are usually positive months for the markets.

Here’s some morning “poppers” for you:

“FDA grants marketing authorization of the first (electric stimulation) device for use in helping to reduce the symptoms of opioid withdrawal” – Nov 15,
    https://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/ucm585271.htm

“FDA approves pill with sensor that digitally tracks if patients have ingested their medication” – Nov 13
    https://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/ucm584933.htm

Electric control + remote monitoring: how long before corporations/govt combine the 2 so that they can *literally* (in the dictioanry sense) remotely control how you feel?

What are you saying? That it will be soon mandatory to take our blue pill in the morning? Or else…? That sounds very much like Brave New World Order to me.
