How does one reconcile statements such as this?

Our President talks so much shit, it would surprise me if this whole house of cards didn’t come crashing down — just for the jinx of it all. As a former athlete and someone who is somewhat superstitious, this sort of shit-talking should be illegal.

Nobody’s perfect… and Trump is the poster boy for imperfection.
Yep, the hubris is palpable and also makes me believe that he’s eventually setting up his own petard to hang from. But I’ll also admit that in a sense that he’s probably right because his election has resulted in an epic squeeze for several different reasons, not the least of which being that most people have kept underestimating his ability to stay afloat, as well as the market’s ability to stay afloat at every turn.
