I sold out of HIIQ for a 17% gain.
I sold out of YELP for a 5.3% gain.
I sold out of EDIT for a 5.3% loss.
And I sold out of COHR for a 8.4% gain.
With part of the proceeds, I stepped in and bought more UVXY, reducing my basis to $16.69.
Why did I do such a thing, when in fact we have a good thing going?
Because the men on the teevee keep saying markets haven’t traded down during November since 2011 and how great of a month it truly is. I am expected to bathe in golden showers and then become President of the United States, at which point I would then be able to start wars and commit human sacrifices all for the poetic license of fulfilling a bucket list.
But in the real world, a wide array of well performing stocks are trading dreadfully and my bubble basket of overvalued stocks is down nearly 2%. There is a sickness in the tape, which could very easily be negated with an afternoon bounce, or something extraordinary tomorrow. But I have a feeling ‘this time is different’ and that the reckoning is near and that stocks are topping out, near term, which should then soon pave the way for a whirring wave of agony and destruction.
There’s a buzz about the pin action that’s a little different. Then again, all of the other ‘collapses’ ended up being fool’s gold. I will now sit here, eagerly awaiting perdition — with a bountiful amount of UVXY, FIZZ, a little XXII, and UCTT.

No hint of inflation, FED would more likely cut than raise. Its all a fucking bullish news!!! Another terrorist attack and we will be at 24,000!
Bullish news would be a raise from the Fed
Uh, yeah, keep proclaiming “higher on every terrorist attack”
The “terrorist attacks” are not over obviously
The point where consumer activity becomes muffled?
Yet the morons on “oh every negative thing ever is bullish”
(hey morons, it’s cause the computers are programmed
to show btfd to you and have been for quite a fucking while)
Surely we will not trade down heading into Turkey Day. Speaking of… what will you be serving for T-day this year?
Yes I am serious and don’t call me surely.
I too, have noticed the queerness to the tape. So I sold some more bubble fag stocks.
Buying UVXY is one hard ass trade. There is so much slippage, even if you can catch the volatility spike, the window for taking profits is tiny.
The slippage is mainly pronounced because of the massive forced-buy bias. Without monolithic constant CB proxy injection (a condition I started surmising 4.5 years ago and was proven more and more correct), it wouldn’t be as extreme, or as noticeable
slippage is due to the impossibility of building an ETF to track futures tracking an underlying commodity that is not a commodity but a mathematical formula.
Look at a chart of UVXY against the VIX itself.
All the VIX based ETFs are horrible at doing what they are supposed to do.
Which means XIV floats upwards while the VIX stays flat.
And makes me up 79% YTD with half my portfolio in cash since February.
no dips or pauses just ascensions
Yeah endgame. Is completely centrally controlled, and those purveyors never once fooled any truthtellers. And those truthtellers who in addition were positioned short, never got kicked out. We’re still there. I’m still there.
I called out the fake, the fake indexes, blatantly glaringly fake. Real programming. Fake reality. Induced doctored increases.
The misinterpretations of glory and grandeur, are the pinnacle, of fool’s errand
Can’t argue with that.
But, at this point, I think the monetary oligarchs have to keep the equity market moving up else risk the destruction of all the under water state government pension plans.
If their equity investments don’t perform and plans start to fail, the sheeple begin to wake up.
So, don’t count on any return to genuine price discovery any time soon.
Rational logical musing. However it’s hard to argue bubble conditions are not being exacerbated, i.e. systemic vulnerability, the higher it goes. And the pushing is “so” aggressive
RGR up 3.63%
Can you post the returns of your Exodus/quant portfolio vs S&P through October 31? Sorry if I missed it, but I’m curious…
We could see a sharp sell-off in the next few weeks, but that isn’t saying much. It will probably be bought very quickly. Long-term trend is up so you ride that until it breaks, instead of trying to front-run
The lads who are googling “HARDCORE TOPPING ACTION” today are in for a big surprise. I would call out click bait but hey, I’ll let this one Fly.
No force in nature is more powerful than the turkey gods.
What ?? No mention of your shit HMNY loser…..
