Quick questions for you mailfags out there. What happens to FDX/UPS when AMZN finally decides and says ‘enough it enough’ and creates their own carrier service? Why in the hell wouldn’t they? Also, once drones start replacing local deliveries, I don’t see a very bright future for them. Perhaps in our lifetime we will get to preside over the watery graves of FDX/UPS. That would be a delightful specter.
Then again, lawyers need them to Fedex lawsuits, so there might be a niche for them. If only we could get rid of lawyers too. How about this, let’s get rid of all the guns, the lawyers, and all of the govt officials. We could have a govt run by instant plebiscite via mobile phones.

For people who want to play the Amazon air freight angle, you might try ATSG or perhaps AAWW. Both companies lease aircraft to Amazon and ATSG operates some of them. AMZN has the right to buy up to 20% of ATSG shares.
I’m doubtful AMZN would want the headaches of running a massive air freight operation but then I didn’t think it would ever buy a grocery chain either.

There’s no limit to what Amazon can do for as long as Beezoos continues to cooperates with CIA/NSA/Pentagon etc in advancing their spying/information gathering efforts. In a world of free money for a few chosen and where missing trillions is considered an accounting error in managing petty cash, anything is possible since money is not an issue. We all know the money didn’t need just go missing but from a pure accounting standpoint, how is that reflected in the government’s books?
That $20T debt figure certainly doesn’t include that.

The theory I believe is that contracts can be programmed right into the blockchain and therefore no longer need to be drafted and vetted and approved by lawyers, and signatures on such archaic documents will be laughably old fashioned compared to the magically fully transparent and auditable blockchain version.
