La Croix has a new flavor out today, ‘Sang Humain’ and it’s absolutely delicious. I noticed all of you beta males have been quiet today, scared to get into heated and violent arguments with me. I understand, frankly. I used to toss people like you into mailboxes during pre-school — kick you until you’d give me your GI Joe toys.
In light of yet another harrowing day in FIZZ, I stepped in with the balls of a brass monkey, and bought the stock. Whoever thought Coke would buy FIZZ is outright retarded. Pepsi will buy them — because they have no choice — and must repent for their sins.
All of the finest dandies in America are stocking their refrigerators with this fancy faggot water. I hope you come to understand that I cannot lose here. Even if the stock went down and I undertook a temporary vacation at a gulag, I’d make it all back, and more, and end up kicking you in the stomach for your GI Joe’s again.
Pepsi much acquire FIZZ for 10x sales, or $240. When it happens, we will all celebrate, prance about the courtyard, laughing and frolicking — eating finger sandwiches and smoking cigars.

Dr. Fly, I saw in the store today an Aquafina product which was I am sure was flavored carbonated water. just checked their website they call it, Aquafina sparkling, that might cause issues with a buyout.
Fly,
Check out Susquehanna’s initiation yesterday. They show you historical acquisition multiples. MNST was bought at 5.4x sales, and frankly was much harder to replicate than La Croix. Even if we assume La Croix gets that same multiple in an acquisition, they’d have to grow La Croix sales by another 40% just to justify the current share price. Not saying they can’t do that over time, but there’s legitimate comp and margin pressure coming their way. Susquehannah started at a hold, but that’s just because he’s a giant pussy – if you read the report there is zero reason to ever own this stock here until they can grow significantly more and prove they can maintain margin. Also, the fact that KO didn’t buy a big player tells me that they think they can take market share easily.
Looking for a huge premium buyout here doesn’t make sense. Maybe you can catch another squeeze, but I think the acquisition premium is going to come out of this. If Pepsi swoops in and buys them, I’ll bow down to you and your orbital space cannon.
What’s your justification for thinking someone is going to pay 10x sales, especially for the whole company where several $100mm in revenue is Shasta bullshit…
La Croix has obviously kicked butt and caught people by surprise, but while growth numbers are still high, they are in fact decelerating.
What do you mean MNST was bought? It’s still independent you dolt.
The minority stake was 5.4 sales

Ok. So I take it you have no interest in actually discussing stocks anymore? Just silly headlines and pictures?
Discuss. KO took a stake in the company at 5x sales. Big fucking deal. MNST is now trading 10x. The market is saying KO got a good deal.
