NASDAQ futures are down 60 and European markets are off by 1%, led lower by tech stocks. Over in Germany, Infineon is -5.5%, in France, Atos is -4.2%, and in the Netherlands, ASML is -4.1%.
Here in the pre-market, shares of NVDA are -2.7%, AAOI -3.3% and AAPL -2.4%.
By the looks of it, you’re all in for a miserable morning, unless you’re like me — diversified.
Incidentally, both gold and bonds are pointing to a lower open and bitcoins are off by 3.5%. The second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, is higher by an astonishing 12%.
WTI is higher by 1.5% — as the Qatar drama continues. I’d imagine the land blockade by Saudi Arabia will boost tanker rates in the region, as Qatar is totally dependent on outside imports for food and necessities.
Look, we’re overdue a hard correction. Fuckers in my comments section were trying to convince me that tech could only go higher, because MUH innovation. I’ve heard these songs a thousand times and they ALWAYS end the same — one guy balled up in the shower crying himself retarded.
There is a massive divergence between tech and everything else. If today is anything like Friday, expect banks, retail and boring stocks to outperform, while tech gets mauled for 3%. This rout is reminiscent of February-May of 2014. Look it up and see what happened.

I want to sell short America twice over… lets sell short AMZN, APPL and many more! Indeud, let’s do it at once – take all of my assets and lever them 10x, sell short the Indicies with vigor and tenacity, oh and be short to bring me some ‘deviled eggs’ for my afternoon snack you dogged-faced-pig.
Oh boy. That video will last for eternity.
Mister LeFly, they surely constitute some of the finest pieces of footage ever filmed.

So Doctor. Apple. I never had any position ( only trading since last December). Is there a BTFD opportunity here and if so I compute looking for a position in the 130s but I’m going to wait another 48 hours
I’m watching the action on it as we speak. I’ve never seen the red green yellow light show go crazy like this, like Jackson Pollack puked on Hieronymus Bosch.
We want moar!
Hi-tech will always go up – just like it did in 1997-2001 because MUH eyeballs.
