Trump Says ‘No Collusion, No Obstruction, He’s a Leaker’ — Hinted at Existence of Tapes to Be Revealed Soon

God I love this timeline, if only for the distraction from the other horrible stuff — such as $2k per month health insurance. In his first press conference since the Comey testimony, Trump laid into the press, again calling them ‘fake news’, called Comey a ‘leaker’ and felt he was totally vindication from the suggestion of collusion or obstruction — and also hinted that the existence of tape recordings of his conversations with Comey could be real.

In the event they are and prove Comey to be a liar, will the press apologize? Will you shills apologize and genuflect to the orange God?

Here are some of the more classic varietal Trump moments and full clip below.

There is no ‘proof’. It is Trump vs Comey. Still interesting that Rogers and Coats wouldn’t lie and / or vindicate POTUS to Congress the other day.

Comey is old news tho. WTF happened to the big Trump infrastructure week? $1T in spending has morphed into $200B in spending over 10 years offset by $95B in cuts after that? All the WH got accomplished this week was an executive order to congress to look into an infrastructure bill and a photo op in fucking Ohio.

    MAGA indeed!

Infrastructure is old news. Nobody believed it was going to be $1 trillion. $200-$300 billion was the real world estimate from Wall Street econs.

The giraffe blew up the cucks. Fuck 1 trillion infrastructure. Get rid of the administrative state is the same. Have you people ever built fucking anything in your lives. Without the miserable sociopath bloodsuckers aka EVERYONE who lives off the Big Gov tit. Yeah all you Trump hater fuckheads.. Boom. Obviously 1 trillion would still be awesome. Orange God you faggots.

Frog, who would you rather have?

Hillary who was called out over 40 years ago for being a thological liar?

Jill Stein who ripped off supporters to the tune of what, $& million for recounts that never happened?

Gary Johnson who is so stoned all the time he doesn’t know what is going on in the world?

Some of us are willing to give Trump a chance and the benefit of the doubt.

He’s got the reverse Midas touch.Everything he touches turns to shit. A cabinet full of crony capitalist welfare queen company people gorging themselves at the public trough. Trying to take about health insurance from tons of people. Signing laws to pollute the air & water. In bed with all the banksters & making it easier for them to commit fraud.

Trump could get us into nuclear WWIII for no reason whatsoever, and you people would still be “giving him a chance.”

As for Hillary being a pathological liar, no she is not. Right Wing news media people who bashed HIllary nonstop for decades are the pathological liars– same ones who said Obama wasn’t born in the U.S. and was a Muslim.

politifact.com found that Hillary lied or else got something wrong in 26% of the statements checked lied or else got something wrong in 69% of the statements checked. So who is the pathological liar?

Just because lying Right Wing media calls someone out for something, doesn’t mean that it’s true.

Nukular war? Are you kidding me?
If there ever is another nuke device touched off it will not be any of the 5 original nuclear nations

It will be some wild ass Mohameden country that figures they can trigger the apocalypse/second coming of Allah by immolation of an entire country.

Frog. Seriously. Do you really believe Trump would “pull the trigger”?

There are no tapes, because if there were, then they would exonerate Comey & incriminate Trump. So if Trump made any tapes, he destroyed them & will now lie about having had them & destroyed them.

Trump lies constantly, and lies about things he said in the past that were videotaped. So he’s constantly been proven to be a liar. Comey has never been proven to have lied about anything.

OMG he lied in his testimony. He said he never told Trump he told Trump he wasn’t under investigation at least three times, then proceeded to list the three times he did exactly that. GOVT=LIARS.

I hope there are tapes. Not because I am sure they would back up Comey, but just because I’m dying for there to be an undeniable fact that we can then all deal with.

Is POTUS a liar — yes, of course, obviously and repeatedly. Is he lying now? I don’t know.

Do I find Comey and/or Comey’s recollection 100% reliable. No.

There are plenty of undeniable “facts” you could deal with, along with the people here. Just listen to or read the lies on Breitbart, Fox, or Info Wars. Then assume those lies are true. You’ll get along great with the morons here.

You’re part of the way there already. Comey’s word is very reliable, compared to Trump, who gets caught in lies every day of his life.

Trump lies when the truth is better. He’s been a liar for decades. The man has zero credibility. He lies about mountains and molehills alike. From court settlements, to birth certificates, to wiretaps, to tapes, to inauguration crowd sizes.

    Truthful hyperbole all.

His plunging approval ratings must be alarming on some level. Just 38% 6 months in. A good portion of the remaining loyalists are Alex Jones types who could watch Trump summon a press conference to gut, grill and eat a small child on the TeeVee but still reach the conclusion that HAARP / deep steaks mind control / Clinton emails / fake news was behind it all.

Most amusing this week was boot-lick Paul Ryan standing tall for POTUS:

“The president’s new at this. He’s new to government.”

    Translation:

“Don’t worry. The man in charge of our nuclear arsenal has no idea what he is doing.”

There seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding among the Trump faithful. Mainly, the ‘meh, russia’ mindset. Most Trump supporters seem completely disinterested in Russia and seem to think Moscow must be just like Chicago or New York.

Median wage in Russia is ca. 300€, which makes it one of the poorest countries in Europe. Only Ukraine and Serbia are poorer, and both were recently torn by war.

Russia is on the 110th place in the world by life expectancy (among 183 countries). The life of the average Russian is almost 10 years shorter than the life of the average American (70.5 vs 79.3).

Russia is on the 167th place in the world by intentional homicide rate. There are almost 3x more murders per capita in Russia than in the US (9.5 vs 3.9), in spite of the draconian gun laws in Russia.

Russia is on the 148th place by the Press Freedom Index. Between Venezuela and Iran.

By the standards of developed countries, the life of the average Russian is comparable to the life of the lower class, far below the poverty line.

There is a reason why 19% of Russians want to leave Russia forever.

Sure, call us ‘cucks’ or whatever. But I will take the status quo of Merica for the past 70 years over the Trump / Bannon fevered vision of a new world order that is friendly with Russia any day.

I would be entertained to hear your version of the new world order.

Isn’t it obvious? I wonder if Trump supporters are paying any attention at all to what he is actually doing or if they are still too hung over from the victory celebration after pulling out a squeaker in 2016.

Trump fawns over dictators like Duterte, Erdogan, al-Sisi and Putin while refusing to shake hands with allies like Merkel. He seems to want to turn NATO into a mafia-like inspired protection racket, like Jimmy Conway from Goodfellas.

From Rolling Stone: Some appointees were less terrifying than others. Former ExxonMobil chief Rex Tillerson at least pays lip service to climate change and probably has enough smarts to complete one side of a Rubik’s Cube. Treasury pick Steven Mnuchin would struggle to make a list of the 30 most loathsome Goldman Sachs veterans. These and a few others were merely worst-case-scenario corporate-influence types, industry foxes sent to man regulatory henhouses.

But the rest were the most fantastic collection of creeps since the “Thriller” video. Many were blunderers and conspiracists whose sole qualification for office appeared to be their open hostility to the missions of the agencies they were tapped to run.

Trump’s choice for EPA director, Scott Pruitt, was a climate-change denier who infamously zeroed out the environmental-enforcement division from the Oklahoma attorney general’s office. For secretary of labor, Trump picked a fast-food titan who prefers robots to human workers (robots, he said, don’t file discrimination suits!).

Trump put a brain surgeon in charge of federal housing, picked a hockey-team owner to be secretary of the Army, and chose as budget director a congressman best known for inspiring a downgrade to America’s credit rating by threatening to default on the national debt.

Even if Carson were not an addled mystic who thinks gay rights are a Marxist plot and “hummus” a Palestinian terrorist group, putting a doctor with no economics background in charge of an agency about to take part in one of the most complex financial projects in our history – the reorganization of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – seemed like madness.

Carson, through an aide, said as late as November he didn’t want to take a Cabinet post because he “has no government experience,” saying he didn’t want to do anything that could “cripple the presidency.”

Mark it down as another first in the Trump era: Politician formally announces his own incompetence in an attempt to prevent his own nomination, gets nominated anyway, and is even supported by members of an opposition party that perhaps unconsciously has begun to grade Trump’s insanity on a curve – an early example of how the relentless Trump show bends our perception of reality.

For Trump and his inner circle to name Perry to any Cabinet post at all felt like trolling, like a football team wrapping the mascot in packing tape and mailing him to Canada. But to send someone you’re on record calling an idiot to run the nation’s nuclear arsenal, that doesn’t fit easily in any bucket: mischief, evil, incompetence – it’s even a little extreme for nihilism.

Another early nominee who skated through was CIA chief Mike Pompeo, a Jesus-humping conspiracist who embraces torture and once called politics “a never-ending struggle?…?until the Rapture.”

The nomination of Betsy DeVos to be education secretary was surely meant on some level as an insult to the Senate. The daughter of an auto-parts billionaire, DeVos is also married to the heir of the Amway fortune, which makes her something like America’s reigning Queen of Suckers. Her family has given as much as $200 million to conservative causes and politicians over the years.

It has to have entered Trump’s calculations that a large percentage of senators for this reason would not be able to reject her no matter what she said or did under questioning. It’s exactly the sort of cruel theater in which Trump the reality-TV producer once specialized.

DeVos arrives dressed in a blazer of bright purple. (Historians will note this is the same color of the robes worn by Incitatus, the horse Caligula used to troll the Senate.) Over the next three and a half hours, she will prove to be the worst witness since William Jennings Bryan sent himself to the stand in the Scopes Monkey Trial.

A well-known charter-school advocate who had said that “government really sucks” and that public education was a “dead end” – who had neither attended public school nor sent her kids to one – DeVos is at first standoffish but predictable in her answers. But things turn surreal when Minnesota Sen. Al Franken asks her where she stands on the question of proficiency versus growth.

Do we judge schools according to how much their students know, or should we better measure how much students know relative to how much they knew before? It’s the education equivalent of asking if a football coach prefers the run or the pass.

DeVos has no idea what Franken is talking about.

“I think, if I’m understanding your question correctly around proficiency, I would also correlate it to competency and mastery,” she says, “so that each student is measured according to the advancement that they’re making in each subject area.”

“Well, that’s growth,” Franken says. “That’s not proficiency.”

DeVos stammers a brief response, then freezes. She looks like a duck trying to read a parking meter.

As the hearing progresses, DeVos tires and her Sunday-school smile wilts around the edges. By the time Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut asks if guns should be allowed in schools, she’s fed up.

“I think probably there, I would imagine that there is probably a gun in the school to protect from potential grizzlies,” she says, in reference to an earlier exchange with Wyoming Sen. Mike Enzi.

Trump’s lead adviser, the fast-talking Breitbart Svengali Steve Bannon, would ultimately explain the thinking behind Trump’s appointments in front of the CPAC audience. “If you look at these Cabinet appointees, they were selected for a reason,” he said. The mysterious figure described that reason as the “deconstruction of the administrative state.”

I don’t see how you can have destruction of the administrative state without destruction of the American government and destruction of the American way of life.

It does not have to be either Comey is good and honest or Trump is good and honest. Both have agendas. Comey is a more skilled and rehearsed story teller and he apparently has the support of other voices in the intelligence community (e.g., Hayden) who had been out preparing the field for Comey. They are trying to control Trump, or, if they can’t …to get rid of him. The control part seems to be working as we continue armed interventions even though these wars are sure to cause more blow back trouble for the US down the road and are doing no good for those that we claim to be liberating.

Comey is and has been a player for years. He is buddies with the new Russiagate prosecutor the media-beSainted Mueller. Comey and Mueller were in office after 9/11 and have participated in the cover-up of information about those involved in 9/11 and they both remained silent as the Skippy Bush administration fed the public lies that lead to the mid-east wars which have bankrupted this country. They are both part of an establishment that has gone a muck. The effort to control, or eliminate Trump is ongoing. Lord knows he needs to be controlled, but I take no comfort when assessing the record of either Trump’s staff or of the intel/mic folks who seek to control the agenda.
