Futures Slide; Europe is Weak

Dow futures are off by 40, perhaps because Fed’s Kaplan said we should hike two more times for 2017. Or, maybe because the market interprets the Trump news as somewhat of a negative for the economy. After all, a weak President is almost as useless as a really bad one. Right now, batshit McCain seems to have more power than the President elect.

Over in Europe, the indices are lower — led by France (-0.75%) and the Great Britain (-0.56%). Apparently, Theresa May’s polls have stabilized, boding well for her BREXIT mandate.

Nothing significant on the analyst front, by the way. Wall Street is just a little indifferent here, ahead of the opening bell.

In other words, the casino owners took their foot off the pedal this morning; but that could change any minute now depending on what they hope to accomplish today; and the lemmings will follow.

How is your Exodus-inspired portfolio doing today vs. S&P? I think the one mistake is allocating to all sectors. That may lead to overdiversification in the long-term only marginal and outperformance of the S&P. Maybe you should focus on the Top-4 performing sectors instead, for example?
