Russian General Warns U.S. Against Conducting Air Strikes in Syria; Medvedev Says Strikes Came ‘Within an Inch’ of Clashing with Russia

UPDATE

The Russians don’t want it. We can wipe out their little bullshit anti-aircraft batteries within a few hours, in between snacks. Here’s the Russian PM, trying to save face, saying we just missed clashing with Russia — as if we cared. Duh.

Russian General, Igor Konashenkov, likely drunk at the time of this interview, said the U.S. should “carefully consider the possible consequences” — referring to the possibility of airstrikes in Syria.

The General warned the U.S. he’d shoot down our airplanes if the opportunity arose — because they’d pose a threat to Russian military personnel in the area. We’ll see about that, buster.

“Today, the Syrian army has effective S-200, Buk and other air defense systems, which have undergone technical renovation in the past year,” he said.

“I remind US ‘strategists’ that air cover for the Russian military bases in Tartus and Hmeymim includes S-400 and S-300 anti aircraft missile systems, the range of which may come as a surprise to any unidentified flying objects,” he added.

Can someone please remind the Russian’s that we do not care about their so called ‘anti-aircraft’ batteries?

Trump and only Trump will be responsible for whatever happens next. Don’t even play like this is anyone else’s fault.

Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau said in a statement: “Canada fully supports the United States’ limited and focused action to degrade the Assad regime’s ability to launch chemical weapons attacks against innocent civilians, including many children.

“President Assad’s use of chemical weapons and the crimes the Syrian regime has committed against its own people cannot be ignored.”

…except these were Tomahawk missiles and not airplanes so, good for you shooting down fighter jets, Russia – and you better mean fighter jets not “airplanes”.

Putin is restraining himself here. He is the only adult in this sandbox. Putin will not be provoked that easily. Putin’s restraint is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of strength. When he strikes, the tribe in the terrorist state Israel that is fomenting this clusterfuck will shit its panties. And the Saudis too.

This was all coordinated with Russia. The goal was to stop looking into Trumps secret dealings with Putin. Looks like they succeeded.

The Russians are really good at making container ships that are disguised missle launch platforms. Like the several dozen that are currently parked off the east and gulf coasts of the US. I bet those ships have Yemeni registrations as well.

The Russians know they can’t go toe to toe with us. But they can wage asymmetrical warfare and there’s the biggest threat. Death by 10,000 little cuts.

If the conspiracy theory is right, Russkies have planted nukes on the sea floor along the US East coast. Time to dust off that old surfboard.

Pretty sure the S-400 is about as advanced as AA technology gets so it might not be quite so easy to dislodge them.
