I live by Alex Jones and see him around sometimes, he is actually a really funny nice guy. A lot different than how he is on TV.
Yeah I’ve heard that from some people. Said he was super cool and down to earth…. It’s a character he plays to sell stuff, it’s his WWF persona. Or like the Duck Dynasty gentleman. You can’t fault him, most people know he’s playing a character, just like most know wrestling is fake.
I think his beliefs are real but the hyperbolic delivery is somewhat manufactured.
The biggest tell for me was learning about his whole relationship with Joe Rogan. While Joe Rogan is no road scholar, he is very objective, left leaning, and very rational in a PROVE IT kind of way. He doesn’t believe anything unless he see evidence. I had no idea that Joe and Alex were so close for so long.
If you filter out the Hyperbole and eccentric delivery of Alex, he presents a lot of verified information, on a huge variety of controversial topics. Don’t take his opinion as gospel, but hear his case at least for why he believes the things he believes, you might surprise yourself.
