the Millenials are the generation coming of age in the crisis (4th turning). They are the cannon fodder for the elites as they struggle with the rise in populism. I agree that change is coming and that it may have to take a grave social upheaval to bring it about. If you are of the Generation X or late boomer age group our role is to try and counsel these young people to think critically and understand the choices they are making and the consequences that result.
In the grand scheme of things the millenials are the echo generation of the boomers in terms of demographic size. The elites realize that this large group has to be controlled and with not enough work for this group how can they be controlled?
