Trump Responds After Failed Healthcare Bill: ‘OBAMACARE WILL EXPLODE’

I can only smile about this for a second or two — because I know the true losers in this charade of D.C. politics are the American people. Obamacare is failing and will get worse. Premiums are soaring and big pharma and hospitals are milking it for every last cent.

Sure, this failed attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare is a setback for Paul Ryan and his GOPshills. Trump doesn’t exactly win, other than to make his enemy, Paul Ryan, look like a complete jackass. The stock market should like this — because it means more welfare, more money for big healthcare. Hence, their share prices should continue higher — as they feed off the government tit.

The losers in all are the aspirational class, the plebs making $150-250k per annum, living in Mcmansions, trying to raise a family. This is an easterly wind for them and I don’t think they deserve this level of incompetence by their government.

In a press conference following the failed passage of the Ryan bill, Trump placed some of the blame on democrats, saying they didn’t give a single vote. Then his killer instincts kicked in and he declared, several times, that Obamacare would ‘explode’ — taking with it government healthcare as we know it.

I don’t even think it will implode. Volatility in premiums will subdue and people will be happy to get health problems checked out before they become fucking chronic.

The best thing we can do is move onto tax cuts and pretend we didn’t try to repeal Obamacare 54 times.

The unwavering support for Obamacare is perplexing to me. The average American is getting completely and utterly fucked under this legislation. Ryan care my not be the solution, but inaction certainly isn’t the solution.

The world must be a difficult place to get anything done at all if you think you have to get things exactly right on the first time every single time you try. With that mentality no one should ever propose anything because it might fail. We are less than 3 months in and nothing prevents anyone from proposing the same exact bill… or perhaps a better one.

We just need the baby boomers to hurry up and die already. They over extended themselves financially so they won’t fucking leave the work force until “diversity movements” finally push them out. Then they get sick and make us subsidize their fucking $100,000 / year medicine bills to keep them on the dole that much longer.

    Just fucking die already.

Don’t feel bad, you are not the only internet moron who jumps to vilify a whole class of people. It is a common low IQ grunting response to complexity.

Baby boomers have been paying into the system since forever. Ironically it is the people that we call the “Greatest Generation” who really benefited out of proportion to both their SS and Medicare contributions. Early boomers may do OK (depending on how long the big reset takes), but late boomers will never get out of they system what they paid in.

Voters back when it was enacted happily voted for the pols that gave them free candy and called it “insurance” and told them that they had “earned” the benefit and that they “deserved” it. Now follow this if your are able, some of the Greatest Generation did not support the scam. See, it’s complicated.

Behavioral differences between generations exist, but they’re dwarfed by the common animal trait of liking free stuff.

soc sec would be fine if average wages rose as fast as inflation. My grandparents didnt use up 1/5 of the healthcare services my parents use. Baby boomers standard of living from the leave it to beaver days to now… has been retarded.

Baby boomers could have paid for college with part time minimum wage jobs. How any of them are not sitting on half a million is beyond me. Stupid. Spent too much. Too many new cars.

            Po Pimp knows the deal.

And for 65+ odd years the Boomers had a chance to realize that “hey, we’re a fucking drain on the system so we should cut back and take care of our future generations” but instead said “fuck it, let’s buy the fucking Benz.” And they did fuck all except vote for fuckers that promised them that SS and Medicare will be there for them. Fuck the future generations.

The Great Degenration -Niall Ferguson discusses this very point

            quick takeaways

its called the generational partnership. He argues that excessive public debts are a symptom of the break down of the social contract between generations. How does the social contract between generations get restored?
Well a balanced-budget amendment may be a reasonable start
Public sector balance sheets should be drawn up…..generational accounts should be prepared on a regular basis showing the inter generational implications of the current policy (Laurence Kotlikoff)

public deficits allow current voters to live at the expense of those generations not yet of voting age…..

I honestly think it was a racial / policital move. You’ve seen the stats. Most people love their new health care but hate “obamacare.” Once they figured out they were gonna lose doctors visits they started showing up to town halls.

Republicans honestly thought the common man was on board for major tax breaks for the richest man. The man man. So silly.

WRONG! This is a big win for the American people. Cuntservatards thought “oh this is our chance to give mega tax breaks to the top 0.1%” and the people were all like “fuck that you dicks – Trump promised better healthcare and this is shit.”

This is the people calling in and saying don’t vote for this bill, or we will have your nuts in a snare. This is the people calling BS.

You keep mentioning the Freedom Caucus but have failed to point out that a lot of the backlash came from Republicans by way of the left. Because people are actually getting care now. Not just “access.” Obamacare sucks for some no doubt, but it’s the best thing they have come up w yet.

I was just in the ER Sunday getting 10 stitches due to a kitchen knife related incident (extra Fly). Knowing I had the insurance to get the CARE made it way less painful.

in 150 years Obamacare will be the bill passed by the president who decided Americans deserve healthcare as a right. It will always be remembered as a disaster… but a step in the right direction.

Maybe Trump will fix it and make it single payer… as he said would be the best solution. The government pays. We all get basic healthcare for free. Insurance companies can still make a killing selling larger more inclusive packages to the middle class and stupid expensive stuff to the rich… who enjoy throwing away their money.

Everyone gets insurance, no denial of coverage… Barack Obama did it. That is the WIN for the American people.

Republicans want to take this new “right” away and the common man ain’t havin it.

It doesn’t take a genius to see what’s down the pike as far as healthcare costs…employees all across America are going to start picking up the increased costs in health insurance to their payroll deductions in addition to what their employers already pay. It will be remembered as President Trump tried to pass a change but breaking news, Dems and repubs did nothing. That the bill was bullshit will be forgotten.

We are the most powerful country on earth! Why we can’t have a pragmatic healthcare system is beyond everything. We want the best healthcare science can offer but not at the expense of giving Doctors and Pharmaceutical/Healthcare products companies a “Blank Check”! Doctors should not have the god-like status given to them reflecting the thinking from the seventeenth century. We own our own bodies and are more educated than the folks back then. There are many ways to treat diseases not only the “scientific way”. Therefore insurance coverage should reflect these realities. Have the same across all states just like car insurance. If a person not want to live any more because of severe illness then respect that! There is more but too numerous to mention. Like not being able to share healthcare information due to stupid archaic “privacy” bullshit that causes more cost in the context of computers and being in the “Information age”! It is only disgusting politics and greed that prevents the coming of a solution to this fucking important problem!!! That’s it now good night to you all and I hope nobody goes bankrupt due to the idiots running the system.
