REMINDER: Just 7% of Journalists Call Themselves Republican

In light of all the fake news and blatant media propaganda being published these days, I think it’s important to remember how little diversity of opinions there are amongst our ‘independent press’. A survey done in 2013 found that most shills hide under the cloak of ‘independent’, with about 30% calling themselves democrat. You can see how this trend has disjointed over the decades, with republicans being systematically removed from the sacred 5th estate.

With merely a handful of so called republicans in America’s newsrooms, how can they honestly call themselves a ‘free press’, when in fact they’re nothing more than democratic advocates shilling for their ideologies?

Incidentally, America’s trust in their media has correlated very closely to the lack of political diversity in her newsrooms over the decades.

I suppose when you completely abandon principles for party, casting aside 50% of your viewer/reader base in the process, that’s not exactly a sound business model for journalistic success — judged by public opinion.

Then again, do they even care?

Educated urban populace? You mean like Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Atlanta and the rest like that? Take a ride to some of the nay-bor-“hoods” and check out their “edumucation”. Check out the squalor you call “urban”. Obvious you’re a complete moron from your education.

That’s because Republican personality is selfish,
greedy, and prejudiced, and cannot conceive, apply
or participate in principles of fairness and objectivity
    that journalism requires.

I was going to say that many Democrats are condescending douches who think themselves superior — but you made the point for me.

Dems ARE superior because their ideas
        on taxation, health, education, military,
        income distribution, environment and
        governance ARE incontrovertible.

Communism in Eastern Europe failed miserably. Is that not enough evidence to convince you that pinko ideas are dumb?

Rigged game. Your bullshit is confirmation bias. You’re saying Democrars are beyond reproach just because you said so. Um, ok. A wise person makes use of new information even if it contradicts their pre existing world view. But because you’lr entire world view only drives to reinforce what you already believe you are incapable of benefiting from new information. Becoming even more slavishly devoted to a particular side of an issue only leads to increasing levels of bias.

So don’t be a libtard. Be a human being. M’kay?

The Communist Manifesto sure sounds good, when you first read it, as an impressionable poor young student with no life experience, doesn’t it?

How well has income redistribution worked for the countries that have tried it? How well has not having a strong military worked out over the last thousand or two years, for those countries who have tried it, when other countries with opposing ideologies had stronger militaries? How well is unfettered Islamic immigration working out in the Valhalla of liberal countries, like Sweden? How well have governments who seized all the power “for the good of the people” done in keeping themselves free of corruption, and truly benefiting the people they claim to be serving?

          Yup, you got me. Incontrovertible.

Communism is a mental illness. Attracted it to it are altruists who are too stupid to know better, statists who think their control is required to fix all societal problems and psychopaths who desire to control all aspects of other lives

However the vast majority of communists, the foot soldiers if you will, are the useless rabble who being of below average intelligence, work ethic and motivation will never be able to accomplish for themselves. This lack of success, this void, fills them with a hatred and envy of their betters, convinced by the demagogues (hello Bernie fucking Sanders) that all their shortcomings are not their own shortcomings but rather that their betters “cheated.” (I know the retarded amongst you will scream “but some did cheat” being entirely too stupid to understand the point).

You cannot cure this sickness of the soul. People who cannot take pleasure in the success of their community have no place within it. Communism is, fundamentally, the desire to clear cut the forest so that all the trees are of equal height. If you allow it to run unchecked we will all become Harrison Bergeron.

That’s because journalist tend to have to base they reporting on facts and common sense. Anyone doing that has a hard time justifying the republican agenda. Hannity himself
rightfully denies being a journalist, on of the few things I give the guy credit for. https://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/04/13/im-not-journalist-sean-hannity-attacks-critics-calling-out-his-softball-interviews-trump/209912

The level of smug and faggotry in your comment is difficult to quantify.

This is why helicopter rides are coming back into fashion.

You ever hear about oil prices dropping?

Any country who bases their entire societal structure around the government controlling and managing a single natural resource, doling out wealth as they see fit, is both inherently corrupt and inherently fragile.

So yes, when oil prices drop through the floorboards, so does their society. The people have not developed the capitalist capabilities to provide for themselves, and also thus have not diversified the GDP so that a drop in the price of a single product won’t tank the entire economy.

This is one of many flaws in socialist and communist ideology. The elites think they can plan things better than the free market, on both the supply and demand sides. Everything from price fixing to telling people what their jobs will be to what they will be paid (regardless of value provided).

Invariably they fuck it up, and that’s before taking into consideration the inevitable, massive corruption demonstrated by those wielding the power and resources. Then layer in the fundamental disconnect of incentives when you try to convince people to work harder and smarter and better “for the benefit of all” and without any direct reward for doing so, or any direct downside to just being mediocre and or barely half assing it enough to appear like you’re working.

And then the corruption propagates downward. What is the phrase I heard from communist Eastern Europe before they booted out the Russians? Ah yes, I think it was–“he who does not steal, steals from his family.”

What a brilliant argument: “Communism didn’t fail it was just they planned their entire retarded idea around $150/bbl oil and that didn’t pan out.”

        Muh “real communism”
